A creature called a Whisper.

Has the ability to see people's darkest secrets just by touching them. If it is gruesome then the Whisper has the ability to kill that person in the opposite way (ex: burning someone alive, the Whisper would make you freeze to death)

Also have the ability to turn into briefly turn into the beings they touch to better adapt to their environments.

Whispers can only be people who have passed.

Whispers never encroach on the territory of other Whispers.
