Dream and the fandom after he gets doxxed, harassed, accused, crucified, and many more normal things that happen to dreamwastaken:
(he teaches kindness and love which I agree with and think we should follow but also can a man not get angry for getting called every name under the sun and being unfairly accused with his life and family being put at risk . )

also COMPLETELY unrelated but when people talk abt stuff like quirkless vigilante izuku and whether toshi would be for or against it (generally they paint him as against it because it's usually an all might bashing dadzawa fic COUGHS who said that) i feel like people miss the obvious
girl he WAS that quirkless vigilante. anything he'd say about that would come from a place of having tried to BE that quirkless vigilante at FOURTEEN YEARS OLD. not get into ua. not get mentored. toshi's goal was to STOP CRIME with a LEAD PIPE and NO QUIRK
don't ever tell me that he'd be a big meanie who hates the quirkless and the idea of quirkless heroes/vigilantes ever again. get the fuck out of my house. if he's saying something against it thats because he doesn't want anyone else to get hurt!!! he had to get bailed out by nana!!! like!!! use your fucking brain im begging

Sam talked about the Dream SMP again on stream and "joked" about starting season 2 with letting c!Dream out of prison and him and c!Sam kissing and going on a date in the courtyard.
Transcript:
SAM: *reading chat* "Okay, I need Dream SMP back." Alright, bro, I got you. We'll log on here. I got you, bro. You know what? We'll do a Dream SMP stream next week. Ya'll got it. Dream SMP part 2.
What if I just like— What if I legit just went live and started playing the Dream SMP like nothing ever happened? Like if I just legit logged on and just started playing? Would that be a funny bit or no? I feel like it would just be dumb. Like it would just be stupid, but it would be funny, though. It would be a funny, like, bit.
*reading chat* "Oh, the prison needs some maintenance." Wait, that's how I could start it. I could log on and be like, "Ah, good morning everyone! We're clocking into work today. Ayy, yo, what happened here?! Who blew this up?! Why is it overgrown?!" And, like, I just start like cleaning up the entire world. Imagine. That would be so funny.
*reading chat* "With the Egg lore starting soon let me cook." Egg lore pulls up— Like, there's an egg. I jump into a— I fall into a hole in the prison. There's an egg there. It swallows me, and, boom, Dream SMP season 2 begins.
*reading chat* "You and Dream just start roleplaying the prison arc like nothing happened." Wait, imagine— imagine we just retcon everything and start over. Me and Dream are in prison, but this time, we become— we become… lovers or something.
We fall in love in the prison. And I let him out. And then everyone else is gone. And we're like, "Yo! What happened?!" And then we set out on a crazy journey to discover the server and see what's happened on the server. How crazy would that be? No, that's the season 2 that I would tune in for, personally. I would have to turn in for that if it was me.
That lore would cook. Lowkey. That's it, I'm facetiming Dream. Right after this stream, I'm facetiming him. Tell him I have a crazy plan. *reading chat* "Write that down, write that down!" That's what I'm saying.
*reading chat* "Can't wait to see this clipped and shipped on Twitter." Oh no. Wait, you think this is actually gonna get clipped and shipped on Twitter? No… Surely not. Twitter people, I'm joking! I'm joking. Maybe. Maybe I'm serious. Maybe I am serious. The enemies to lovers arc is gonna be crazy. Get in early. Get in early! Be an enemy to lovers believer before it happens.
I just— I love the idea of just starting in the prison. Dream is like back in the cell and he's like, "What the heck? Like— How'd I get back in here? I thought I got out of here." And then I'm like, "Thought you could escape? I've got you now." And then we start kissing each other in the cell. That's what we do.
*reading chat* "Smoochies!" Just a little smoochie— what's wrong with a little warden and smooch— and prisoner smoochington? What's wrong with that? "I've got you now, Dream! Will you marry me?" *reading chat* "How else is he supposed to escape without wooing the Warden?" True! Wooing the Warden arc. That's what we'll call it. Wooing the Warden.
*reading chat* "This time I won't let you go!" I am so dead. "This time, you're stuck with me!" There are going to be people that like— They're gonna watch this clipped out of context and they're gonna think that I'm like being for real.
*reading chat* "Dream looks over shoulder and smolders." Nah, you're crazy for that. He would, though. He would, wouldn't he?
*reading chat* "A date with Dream, but it's a picnic in the prison courtyard." Wait! Oh my gosh, you've actually written the script for season 2 for me. We spawn in the prison. It's just Dream and I in the prison. In the main cell. He's like, "How am I in here again?" And then I send over the bridge. I let him out. This is what I always wanted to do. I let him out. And then I lead him all the way to the courtyard that we never used for anything canonically. And it will give it a canonical reason for existing, that I always just was trying to take Dream on a date there. Wait, that's kind of epic, actually. Wait, we're actually gonna do this now. We're gonna do it now, for real.

Labru, but it's Laios stuck as a boring housewife taking care of her child basically by herself because her husband doesn't really care all that much,
Labru, but it's Kabru who sees the lonely housewife who tends and manages her husband's bar by herself and has a better relationship with her child than even her husband does,
Labru, but it's two souls meeting more than once and feeling happy, dare even excited and hoping to see each other at the very least once a day
Labru, but it's the two of them feeling as though they have met their soulmate, yet feel as though they cannot say a thing because Laios is married (though unhappy), and she is worried her father would never approve of her leaving the man who was arranged to be her husband AND see that she's in love with a man younger than her
Labru, but it's the story of the housewife who never felt like she mattered until she met a man who cannot stop thinking about her and finds her to be the most intelligent and interesting woman he has ever met

another thing i love about laios:
HE IS GENUINELY A REALLY GOOD LEADER!!
despite struggling with the finer points of socializing, he has all the qualities necessary to be a good leader.
(i refer to the manga a lot in this post as someone who's read most of the manga at this point, but i avoided any specific spoilers)
He cares about all his teammates' well-being
He is extremely level-headed in a crisis
He is excellent at strategizing (within his areas of expertise; in the manga someone eventually points out he's pretty much useless at fighting other humans, lol)
If a plan fails, he is immediately thinking up a fallback plan - he doesn't give up
He is acutely aware of his teammates' strength and weaknesses, and accurately assigns them tasks suited to them in times of need.
He is perhaps not innately a 'leader-type'; he's fine deferring to the rest of the party most of the time, even when he doesn't understand why. (Just going along with the blindfold in the sauna for example, lol.) He was ready to head back into the dungeon by himself before Chilchuck and Marcille volunteered to come along. He doesn't think of himself as particularly smart or special. And when the party meets others (such as the old gnome couple) they don't tend to assume Laios is the leader.
But he has an unwavering vision (during the story it's rescuing Falin), and, you see it again and again: when they enter difficult combat, or any time things fall apart and everyone is panicking, Laios steps up and takes charge. His calmness helps everyone else calm down, and they generally follow his lead. They intuitively look to him in a crisis, to the point they're shocked the few times he doesn't have any ideas.
It kind of ties into another thought I have; he is repeatedly seen as "having no interest in other people" by other characters, but this isn't really true! He struggles to understand people and he is aware that they struggle to understand him. This leads to him mostly focusing on the things he IS good at understanding, such as monsters. But he genuinely makes a big effort to understand the people he cares about. In the manga, there are times you see him think deeply about his friends' struggles and motivations. For much of the early arcs, he understands Chilchuck better than Marcille or Senshi do. He and Marcille don't get each other that well at the start of the story, but by the end they have a very strong reciprocal friendship.
I could go on about it honestly but this post is already very long. Tl;dr laios one of the characters of all time to me and i think people should appreciate his leadership skills more!!
