When I was in my teens, I used to make an entire magic system with 360+ unique spells, ordered in magic schools and categories, and it boggles my mind that I basically reinvented DnD mechanics, even down to metamagic.

I wanted to make a wiki about it but I don't have time for it.

The point was to try to encompass every "superpower" I could think of into a magic system.

I even got lore related to it all, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna simply reuse it all for OC worldbuilding. Ngl the fun part was naming all the spells, symbols and coming up with the logic of it all.

Gavv OC I made. Tsurai's city is an experimental playgroundd for the Stomach Company where people have been going missing. His belt is an experimented-on Granute turned into a wannabe weapon to fight against the 'granute hunters', but was tossed in the trash because he could barely taste anything and thus couldn't make Gochizo. But the MC Tsurai is conveniently a lover of extreme spice and foods, allowing him to grant Scovii, the belt, new tastes. He devotes himself to Tsurai as the man who saved him from flavorless ennui.

Dee-Kay, the umbrella-spear, is a second experiment that would show up later as another experrimental weapon, but he is unable to taste because his mouth decays everything that goes into it. Extreme flavor Gochizos give him a burst of flavor, however, and lets him create Decay Agents to fight alongside Candaemon.
