Hinako Kitano - Untitled (Official Blog November 16, 2017)

Hello everyone. This is Hinako Kitano. As was announced on the official website, I will be taking a break from my group activities for a while. It was around winter last year that I began feeling that something’s not right with me. I thought that I’d be able to shake off this weird feeling if I gave it my all at work. However, as it just kept getting worse I decided to take a break instead. I think for an idol who’s meant to spread dreams, hope and courage, this is something that’s not allowed to happen. But I figured it’s better if I focus on recuperating as I feel my condition is starting to affect not only me, but also the people around me negatively. I can’t promise I’ll fully recover, but when I begin to feel just a little bit better, I’ll come back as soon as possible. Although I’ll take a break from the group activities, I’ll still blog when I feel ready to do so. I was very hesitant to make a decision like this since this is a very important period for both myself and for Nogizaka46 as a whole, but the other members and the staff simply told me there’s no need to rush things, and that they’ll be waiting for me.  I’m sure there’s a lot of mixed feelings among the fans, but I’d be glad if you could wait for me too. 

Nogizaka held their first concert in Tokyo Dome the other day. It was so fun! It made me love Nogizaka, its members, the staff, and all of you fans even more. Seeing the bright smiles of both Himechan and Marika made me envision the wonderful futures that lie before them. I want to do my best as well, in order to make Nogizaka’s future just as wonderful. I’m probably gonna keep making you worry from now on as well, but please bear with me.
