The most interesting thing to me about this episode (aside from the reveal of who "Ai Haibara" really is) is the way how the relationship between these two starts: blaming each other for what happened to them or to someone close to them, both situations completely beyond the others control. Shinichi blames Shiho for him being shrunken down to the body of a child since she was the one who created the drug in the first place, and Shiho blames Shinichi for not being able to save her sister. Both of them had all of this pent up grief and anger inside of them for the longest time, and they found the perfect targets to release it on: each other. They blame the one person who, in some ways, can understand what the other person is going through. The way how their relationship develops throughout the series is probably what I love most about Detective Conan.
