This area locates in front of New York City Library. This is not just an outdoor seating! I found it one night when I went to school. The white carton is full of books. Since it was already too late to go closer to check it out, I decided to go there earlier next day. While there just few books left on the seating and the box is empty! With daylight I can see there are smaller marks on the carton—library,so the books are definitely belongs to the library. My questions are:What kind of books the library will put in the box? Who will read them and take them in the night or earlier morning? In the era of information and smart devices, will the library be outdated? And what's the attitude of reading in NYC?

On a week day afternoon. On the corner of broadway and the 108th st. Four musicians from musichaul.org seat in the carriage of an U-haul playing cellos. Citizens put aside their food packages and tiredness, focus on the beautiful melody; Children worm their way in the urban infrastructures. The street suddenly became a playground for both adult and children, the poor and bourgeois. My question is what impact will the social events bring to the urban life? What make those musicians walk out of well-decorated music hall and playing on the street to the public? What they want to achieve? Will the road undertake more responsibilities or functions than public transportation?
