There seems to be a consistent theme in my taste of men. Unsure whether if I like it or not 🤔

can you imagine how freaky shark mermaids would be like unlike sharks, shark mermaids would have actual arms/hands and could rely on touching things with their hands to see if they’re prey rather than having to bite like sharks do. like youre just swimming in the ocean and suddenly you feel a strong grip on your leg, you freak the FUCK out because uh what????? the fuck??? youre swimming alone in the ocean??
a head pops out of the water, dorsal fin pointed from its back and it just points at you and says in a low whisper: “i thought you were a seal. please dont swim alone like this, im sorry i scared you i just wanted to see what you are” and then disappears back into the depth. what the fuck.

Ten years ago today, Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl made and released a game they didn’t think much of. Little did they realize how much of an impact this game would make and how many people it would reach out to and influence since. Happy Decennial to the Binding of Isaac!!
If I’m allowed to be a little sentimental for this anniversary, I can easily say this game has changed my life in ways I could never imagine it would. To think that making art for this game in 2013 lead me to collab with Ed an official project, and now I’m working with him! What!
I’ve met and worked with people in the fandom that I still talk to today and have the privilege of seeing grow as artists. I’ve made mistakes that I’ve since learned from and strive to be a better person because it. And I’ve learned SO MUCH about game dev from assisting projects!
I guess what I’m trying to say is, thank you making for this funny little game about a crying child fighting his own demons. It’s genuinely influenced my life and art in ways I can’t describe and I’m happy to be able to contribute my little piece to the world through it 💕💕
This is the tenth year in a row I’ve done an anniversary image for this game. I dunno if I’ll continue making them after this one, but you can see all the previous pieces I’ve made by year below! 2020 | 2019 | 2018 | 2017 | 2016 | 2015 | 2014 | 2013 | 2012
