hey, listen!

i’m baka, and i’m here to advertise a little something that i’ve been working on for a month or so now. a chatfic!

….well, not exactly.

currently, it’s still a WIP! but i do have a discord server that’s chock full of activity that i’d like you all to check out, so if your interested just continue reading below!

currently, we’re looking for a few characters and just some people to hang around and spectate, as well as toss ideas at us! this will be explained more, in the Q&A!

but first: history!

the original idea for this chatfic popped up in my mind around a year ago, when i was nearing the end of the school year. i then proceeded to completely forget about it until around a month ago, when the idea had struck again right after a power outage!

and so after the power came back and i expressed my desire to put out a call for writers who would also like to join me in this endeavor. i was told by several to do it, and so i did.

and so now, i have decided to open the server out to the public.

What is a chatfic?

a chatfic is essentially a fanfic written in group chat format! two personal favorites are the ygo chatfic nobody asked for and duel squad group chat

Where will it be posted?

ao3 and tumblr!

Who can join?

anyone! this is for anyone, whether they are just here to watch the fun unfold or actually want to play a character!

What series will this be?

strictly DM and season 0.

> to get a character, first you must make sure the character isn’t claimed yet! if they’re not and you’re the first to ask, then you’ll get the character! if they are claimed, however, you’ll have to either choose a new one or just not play a character!
