To expand:

imagine he’s injured or something of the sorts, and someone else has to fly for whatever reason. So him and Logan sit next to each other gripping onto the seats (and eventually each other) to stop themselves from spiralling into panic attacks..

Cue some kind of trauma bonding in means of Logan realising Scott has more troubles than he lets on and Scott realises Logan is more scared than he’ll ever let others see.
