I apologize for not posting content for the past month and a half but I have been working on my WIPs and I have also been busy with work and a whole bunch of other stuff. The ‘rona has really hurt my family financially and I’m trying to be a good daughter and help my mom and dad out (It’s hard for my parents to support five kids when only my dad is working because my mom is going back to school to become a nurse) and that means I have less time to work on my writing. Well, that and the fact that I’ve been sewing a lot more recently. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on it! I will 100 percent be posting wither a new Tommy Shelby fic or a new Obi-Wan fic this week!

Stood before the court, she could feel the judgemental glares of every man around her, after all, who did this girl think she was, protesting against the King?

Someone who wanted change. That’s who she thought she was and she knew that was who she was. If she had to give her life for the cause, so be it, but until her dying breath she would fight and resist the tyrannical rule placed over her Kingdom.

“Your Majesty, Sir, this is the girl” declared a voice, clearly male, his tone laced with a sneer as he forcefully kicked the blonde’s legs, bringing her to the ground with a grunt.

“Thank you, Lord Beverly. Let’s see what this criminal has to say for itself” the gruff voice of the king thanked, an equal sneer in his voice. 

To call Amaya a criminal was unjust, though fitting from the King.  As merely a teenager, she hadn’t thought her hope for a rebellion would catch light and start a blaze, but in a short four months, she had quickly become the face of hope and freedom. 

But now, she was being tried by the very man she wished to dethrone. To say she wasn’t terrified would be lying. These men had a record of taking lives - the king especially. 

Adorning his crown were hundreds upon thousands of red jewels, each one containing a drop of the blood of each person he killed. With a single word, Amaya's blood could be added to his crown, the rebellions symbol of hope gone and dead, an example to the Kingdom that the King cannot and will not be dethroned.

"Now, you insolent little irritant," the King began, his cold glare set on the blonde teenager before him. "Would you care to explain to us all, why exactly you have wreaked havoc within my Kingdom?" He questioned, his eyes not once breaking contact with hers.

"You are a murderous, intolerant, conceited tyrant - you have killed your people in cold-blood and will continue to take our lives if we don't stand against you." She snapped, not a trace of fear evident in her voice. 

For a few brief moments, the room was silent, not a word was spoken, only glances shared and looks given. The silence was quickly broken though by a thud as Lord Beverly's foot connected with Amaya's back.

Choking out a gasp, blood dripped from her mouth forming a small puddle by her knees as she continued to spit out the blood filling her mouth, a foul glare on her face.

Lifting her head once again, Amaya spat the remaining blood from her mouth, snarling at the man she was forced to call king.

"Kill me if you must, but I shall not bow to a King who wears a crown studded with the jewels of every life he has ended" she growled, utter hatred filling her voice as she glared up at the moderately shocked King.

"Guards, I believe this girl needs some time to reflect on what she has said. Take her to the prison - if she comes to her senses by morning, I believe we can form a compromise" the King ordered, a sarcastic smile on his face as the teenager was lifted to her feet by two of the Palace's guards, a glare that could murder on her own face.

So for years black girls have had to read fanfics where y/n was automatically described as being paled skinned with long flowing hair and blue eyes. We couldn’t relate to it exactly, it excluded us, it ignored us. But we read it cause it was all that was out there. Now when we start writing fanfics for other black girls to feel included and represented, now you all are saying that you ‘‘can’t relate to it” therefore don’t support black writers when we were supporting your work all those years even though you were acting like we don’t exist within these fandoms.

A like is like a quick almost mindless thing you do as a "neat" before you keep scrolling. At least that's what it feels like they are.

A reblog is telling that creator: Hey, I really like your stuff and want you to make more. I'll help by spreading your content around so more people can see it.

We all appreciate likes but they don't do any good if no one is sharing the content.
