Lancelot looked down at his feet and smiled and glanced back up. "We are,"He said as he put out his hand and took the phone. Lancelot typed in his number and handed it back. "I would be very happy for your company. I know going to a wedding isn't anyone's idea of a fun first date. I don't mean I consider it a first date. I just mean..." Lancelot just looked down at the ground again and shook his head. He sounded nervous, because he was. Lancelot was always sure of himself physically, but emotionally was a whole different story. "I know you will be lovely company."

"I wished to ask you, but I thought it would be too bold to ask someone I have known such a short time. I do however believe that if you are with me, I will have the most beautiful date in the room," He smiled gently.

"Well, Uncle Porthos is an adult. I know he will go with or without me. I promise at times, i try to stop him. He insist's it's for just one drink. He never drinks just one. He also has a habit of gambling. I have to be sure he doesn't lose everything he owns!"Aramis smiled. He picked his daughter up into his arms and gave her a gentle squeeze. "You will be a great big sister. I already think you are more responsible. You know better than fights and going into taverns! No tavern's for you, mademoiselle" he laughed. He gave her a kiss on her cheek. "You know your daddy loves you and mommy very much!"Aramis said as he held her head to his chest and rested her chin upon it. He thought about how much he loved them every time he had to leave them. Wondering if God would grace him with another day with his two girls. His job was dangerous, but no way he was going to let them both down. "Daddy loves you, little one," Aramis said as he closed his eyes and held her in a tight embrace.
(Child anon- about 6 years old) Daddie? Can I go withs you to work?
"Mommy doesn’t even want me going to work… I don’t think she will be happy, if I take you as well, little one," Aramis smiled.

Aramis smiled at his daughter enthusiasm. "Oh, your mommy loves all types of animals,"he said. He bent down to her level. "Mommy makes me take spiders outside. The fact that she is so loving is what made me love her even more. She was the one person in this world, I would never want her to shed a tear," he said as he touched the tip of his daughters nose.
Aramis watched as his daughter walked back to the stream with the boot. "Oh, yes! Fishies, do have mommies. Those mommies have a bunch of babies. The mommy fish has so many fish to watch over. She has a big job. All mommies have big jobs though,"Aramis said as he realized he was talking more like his daughter at this point.
(child anon) Dadddhiiei, ders a fishie in my boot! Squealed the young girl, after trotting through a small stream.
"Wow! Now we have dinner!"Aramis laughed. "Mommy will be proud of you!" Aramis picked up his daughter and took her over to a log, on the side of the stream and took off her boot. He looked down into the boot and smiled. "Yep! You caught one," he said as he handed her the boot to look at the small fish. "It is too small to eat, so perhaps you can bring it back to the stream and set it free! I am sure it’s mommy it’s mother is missing it.""
