Coca-Colilk Spiced

Just based on the smell, yeah, they're different. According to the can, it's "raspberry spiced", whatever that means. I guess it kind of smells like raspberry, if you squint, and aren't very familiar with the smell of an actual raspberry drink. Unfortunately, I'm neither squinting, nor unfamiliar with raspberries. It's once again an off-brown colour.

Tastes... very artificial. Again, there's the fake raspberry flavour, and there's a sort of strange spiced flavour to it - it isn't actual spice, it's the artificial kind that just sort of tastes weird. I don't think I'd be able to describe it any other way.

All in all, probably... a 5/10? It's not good, it's not bad, and it's definitely not raspberry, but it's drinkable.

Cinnamon Colilk

It's kind of brown! You can very obviously smell the cinnamon in this one; it's pretty strong!

...hm, the taste is not quite cinnamon, though. There’s a small chance that some kind of washing residue is in the glass - I had this problem with a glass of water literally yesterday tasting like dirty wash water. But the colilk is sort of... well, it's spiced, obviously, but it isn't cinnamon-y. It's just sort of... something. I couldn't tell you what, though.

...5? /10. It's... something. I'll try a few more and if I have a different opinion I'll let you know.

Jones Orange Chocolate Sodilk

The actual soda smells like cheap store-brand nutella, and tastes almost exactly the same way. As expected, the sodilk smells just like that, but with more emphasis on cheap chocolate around Christmas.

Now, I'm sure that if I hadn't had chocolate orange before, this would be a reasonable-ish facsimile. There's the cheap chocolate, and some kind of artificial sweetness that's akin to a fruit, but not any specific fruit. Unfortunately, I have had good chocolate orange before, and so this is just sort of disapponting.

5/10. You're fine for most people I'm sure, but you taste cheap to me.

Fantilk Haunted Apple

I adjusted my phone's camera settings because genuinely I cannot capture how green this thing is. It's pastel pea green. As for smell, it's definitely like sour apple sweets - the actual can lists the flavor as "spiced apple".

Wow, that's... strange. The apple taste is sort of there, but only really at the beginning. Most of it tastes of various spices. I actually think it tastes better than the soda does alone - you get to enjoy the flavour a little more.

10/10. Clear improvement, pretty fun spiced tasting drink with interesting colour.

Crushilk: Cream Soda

That's not the colour I was expecting. Hot pink into a really nice pastel pink pilk. As far as I can tell, it doesn't smell of anything.

Tastes... strange. It most definitely tastes of something, but that something is very difficult to discern. Somewhere on the aftertaste you get a sort of vaguely sweet vanilla-y fruitiness, but otherwise, it doesn't taste of anything. It also feels kind of odd to drink in the way that it feels... thicker than it's supposed to; it sits uncomfortably in your mouth until you swallow.

4.5/10. Just sort of weird.

Jones Grape Sodilk

Ominous lid message aside, this looks like any other grape sodilk. It's purple. The smell, however, is slightly odd; it's too artificial, I think, almost like a sweet trying too hard to be grape.

The taste is very much the same. Think something like a grape jolly rancher in the kind of artificial grape department.

4.5/10? I'm not really sure about it.

Tangilk Raspberry Blast

That soda stinks of artificial fruit, but the tangilk does not. I'm kinda scared what it tastes like now.

Jesus fucking christ that's actually raspberry. Like, seriously actual raspberry flavour. I've had raspberries out of my own garden that tasted less raspberry than this. With the colour being blue and all, I kinda expected blue raspberry, which everybody knows doesn't taste like raspberry at all, but it isn't. And thats kinda cool actually.

10/10, it's a clear winner over the soda, which doesn't have much raspberry in it.

Tangilk Cherry Blast

The tango smelled really strongly of cherry, but the tangilk doesn't so much - it's more like a vaguely cherry yogurt.

Oh, but the taste is very cherry! It's like a proper cherry yogurt, with the sort of not-quite cherry taste of a good glacé cherry. The smoothness and creaminess is great.

Gotta be a 10/10.

Sprilk Chill

or is it Sprilk Chilk?

The smell of the sprite chill was slightly limey, a little cherry, and strangely rubbery. Like burning tires. The sprilk retains only the tire smell.

It's... strange. I don't really get the lime, I feel like I can vaguely taste cherry, but in a really dilute state. It's creamy, though. I'd go so far to say it's kind of good, but again, the taste is very vague. The longer you let it sit in your mouth, the more pronounced the taste becomes - lemon buttercream. The cherry entirely disappears in this case.

6/10! I'd rate it higher it the taste wasn't so hard to pick up.

Levi Roots Jamaican Sunsilk

It's, uh... sort of pink? And I can't tell if it smells lile anything.

Y'all know the drill by now. It's got melon in it, so it tastes like melon. I'd say it's an overall improvement from the original simply because it doesn't have that fizzy sharpness (its creamy, as you'd expect).

Uhh, I think like an 8/10. Not marking it down for anything specific, you know how it is. Melon soda, baby.

And there's the pulp! See, I'm of the opinion that orange soda with pulp is the best kind, but you can never really get it around here. Weirdly enough, it smells rather fresh! A light citrus note, I'd say.

Oh, that orange taste is beautifully refreshing. It's light like a lemonade, and the milk makes it creamy - sort of like an orange icecream. It's very good.

10/10. Refreshing, orangey, and delicious.

Exotic Milk (with mango and lime)

Apparently, its 82% apple juice, which doesn't surprise me in the slightest. It also now smells weird; maybe like... wet something? Cereal, maybe? And its yellow-ish, which feels like it should be a bad sign.

It tastes like mango with something wrong with it. I suppose if I squint I can sort of taste the lime, but it really isnt that present. Pilking hasn't improved this at all.

4/10. I should've picked the lychee one instead.

Irn Brilk

It's pinky-orange in colour. Interesting.

The taste is exactly what you'd expect - Irn Bru. I've had chewy sweets before that were Irn Bru flavoured, and this is almost exactly like those.

10/10. I love a bit of Bru.

Candy Can Sour Appilk

Contrary to what I expected, it hasn't curdled. That's almost scarier. It does smell of sour apple candy - if you've ever had sour apple Chewits, or that sour apple mentos gum (it really exists), that's the smell. Chemical sour apple.

As for the taste - exactly that. Smooth, and not unpleasantly sour, but sour enough that you can tell something is very wrong about it. Much more akin to the Chewits now than the mentos gum. The fizziness (or maybe it's the sourness) has converted into a sort of... painful feeling when drinking? Which some people might like. You dont want to let this one linger in your mouth for very long, though. Makes your teeth feel strange.

Probably a 5/10? It's not better than pilk, but it isn't exactly worse than pilk.
