here’s a little drabble i wrote up while half asleep. enjoy! <3

mark - “hey, baby. listen, so you can’t be mad but uhh… yeah so i kinda saw this giant teddy bear at the drug store and i thought you might like him so i bought him. his name’s winston. please don’t be mad, he’s really big but he’s also really cute. im sure we can find a place for him, right? uh anyways, call me when you can?”

renjun - “hey, love. can you call me when you get the chance? i was painting and it wasn’t coming out so i got really frustrated but i remembered something. talking to you always makes me able to picture the prettiest things. you inspire me. so, call me when you can, okay? this painting needs you.”

jeno - “hey, what were those snacks you said you liked? i noticed they were on sale so i wanted to surprise you with some for our movie night tonight but im officially giving up. so here i am asking you what theyre called, so i can buy every package in the store. yeah… call me.”

haechan - “hi baby, where are you? you said you would be here at 7 and its almost 7:05, you’re late to our special date night! i even splurged and got you the jumbo pack of doritos, and they aren’t going to eat themselves. call me back immediately, i expect lots of apology kisses when you get here. love you.”

jaemin - “hey, i just tried to call you and it went to voicemail but i think i filled your voicemail already so i’ll make this quick. i was just wondering what time you get off work today? i know you didn’t feel good this morning so i wanted to bring you something. let me know and i’ll see you later. bye baby, i love you!”

chenle - “hey, pick up your phone dummy! your boyfriend wants to know what time you’re gonna get here. jisung and i remembered the disney+ password and if you don’t get here soon, you’re gonna miss our marvel marathon. call me asap, okay? i miss you.”

jisung - “hi, i ran up to the grocery store to grab something and i got this idea. what if i made us lunch tomorrow? you, me and some sandwiches, sound okay? let me know before i buy too much of every topping. i love you, call me soon.”

Mark’s lips are hovering above your shoulder, the warmth of his words sliding against your wet skin.

“Are you cold baby?”

*Smooch*

“Do you need a towel?”

*Peck*

“Do you wanna head home?”

*Kiss*

You are zoned out, so out of it to the point you're immune to his love. He notices there is no response. 

He moves his hand from your waist to hold your shoulder. 

He turns you around, causing you to jump and shiver from the sudden movement, you look at him surprised. 

He looks at you so sweetly, (you swear you have cavities now) his eyes find yours. 

“Y/n” Mark calls gently, genuinely worried about you. 

“Hmm” you respond, with a hollow tone.

“I’m ready when you are.” he says “If you’re done I'm done” 

You sigh feeling opposed.

“I don’t wanna stop you from having fun though” You sigh looking him in the eyes. 

He looked at you, tenderly grabbing your arm and pulling you into a hug. 

“A moment with you is never dull, darling.” He whispered sweetly, grabbing your waist and pulling you closer. 

“Let’s go home, cuddle and watch a movie babyy~” He dragged all his words out.

“Okay, okay, let's go. Grab everything?” You look up at him adoring his puppy like brown eyes. 

He smiled and gave you a quick kiss before grabbing your bag, the towels, and his shirt before going out to pull the car around for you.

[7:53 PM]

You and Mark arrive back at the apartment where you go to change while Mark puts everything away. 

You walk out wearing Pj’s and see Mark on the couch looking as if he is going to pass out any second.

“Are you okay my love?” you look at him giggling.

He smiles and yawns looking up at you.

“Let me go change and then we can cuddle and watch whatever you want to.” He smiles getting up to go change.

[12:32 AM]

You sat up on the couch watching the lights flicker back and forth from the television. Mark was dead asleep cuddling into your chest and mumbling in his sleep. You pick your hand up and rest it on his head rubbing small circles and random shapes through his hair. The rain was pouring outside hitting the window with a small tap, tap, tap every few seconds. 

You look down at Mark giving him a small kiss on the forehead and whispering- “I love you Mark, more than anyone else.”
