My Fallen London Newspapers

I just named my third newpaper and I decided to write down some thought about them.

Main account: The Fallen [my university's humor magazine]

I asked my friends from university what I should name my fictional newspaper and only I got joke answers (don't know why I expected serious answers), which made me think of our university's magazine.

I'm a licentiate on my main account, and I wish I had named my newspaper "The Gazette Written in Gant", etc. after my profession although the current name makes it very easy to remember. It'll be either a funny or an embarrassing memory of my university days once I graduate.

My first alt: The Underneath Gazette

Very unimaginative name but I didn't want to spend time on naming. There's nothing more to the name and I keep forgetting it. I don't have any alternative names in mind. Maybe something related to correspondence since I'm a correspondent on this account? Like "The Burning Sigil" etc.

My second alt: The Peligin Spotlight

This one is very fresh and I love it. I'm a stalker at the moment and will become a monster-hunter some day on this account. Peligin is the colour of monster-hunters' eyes and Unterzee. It's darker than black which is why I tried to make the name more interesting by combining it with "spotlight".

We'll see if I still love it after some time has passed. I was thinking about relating the name to hunting but couldn't come up with a good one. I tried looking up real names of hunting magazines but it was hard to twist any them into a neathly version. Does it make sense that I used peligin in the name before becoming a monster-hunter? Maybe not.

After escaping the prison, my alt character swore to return to the surface, which made escape an obvious choice for the reward.

Hmm, a holiday home in the arctic circle?
