I'll read this when I have time
I TECHNICALLY GOT DAY 31 DONE AND EDITED 20 MINUTES BEFORE MIDNIGHT MY TIME, SO I FINISHED IN TIME! WOOOO!
On top of being the last cPrimetober work, this is also the conclusion of the Ancient Magus Bride AU, so that was quite a bit of work and a lot of fun!
Summary:
Sequel of "You are an Obsession" and "Glory through Toils". I would suggest reading the other two first for this one. - He imagined himself atop a tall narrow pillar. Something earthy and yet so unnatural. Something with no safe way down from it. Tommy was standing there, looking down. He could see the body of his brother lying bloody and unmoving on the ground below. He was so high up that it didn’t make any sense, and yet there it was. He just had to answer the call. It would be so simple. All his grief and sorrow would be gone at once. The pillar was a bit taller every time. Every new hurdle he met made it just that much harder to scale it down, even if he did want to try. And he didn’t want to. He closed his eyes and let gravity do its job. * “The living shouldn’t envy the dead” Henry’s voice was stern now, as if he’d just gotten a glimpse inside Tommy’s mind too. “You cannot fly, so it’s good you never tried”.

I'll read this when I have time
I'M TECHNICALLY STILL ON TIME FOR DAY 28 BY TWO HOURS, WOOOO!
Anyway. Initially, I had 0 ideas for this fic. Then my beloved Cat came in and hit me with one good idea after another and now the fic is finished at just under 14k words, which is just absolutely wild. And it's also why I decided to split it into two chapters because, honestly, I personally struggle to read extremely long one-shots.
As for the fic, it ended up being a fusion between a Superhero AU and a Backrooms-inspired scenario. It was really fun to write, though I would suggest reading the tags before engaging.
Summary:
For years now, L’Manburg had been living under the constant looming threat of the Puppeteer, a cunning villain with a passionate and borderline sadistic love for death. He stated publicly before that his ultimate objective was to find a cure for mortality, though it didn’t seem like he was anywhere close to achieving his objective by the ever-increasing pile of corpses lying at his feet. He was a slippery one, and in eight years of activity, no one had been able to find any hint of where his hideout might be. All the most advanced tracking technology in the world had led to nothing but one wild goose chase after another, sometimes even leading the heroes well out of town, only to trap them and slaughter them like cattle once they were too far for reinforcements to reach them in a timely manner. That all changed when Tommy, who wasn’t even a hero, was unfortunate enough to catch Puppeteer slipping back into his hideout underneath Church Prime as he was going for an early prayer before work. - or, To finally defeat the infamous Puppeteer, a task force of nine heroes and a civilian is put together. They're not ready for what they find down below...

I'll read this when I have time
Guys, day 29 is here! We're going back to my roots with an exile fic today!
Summary:
He knew his exile would never come to an end. He’d been told over and over again by Dream how much better New L’Manburg was doing without him, they would be fools to take him back. And, as much as it hurt, Tommy had come to accept it as a reality. However, that meant that all he had were the sparse visits, and he couldn’t bear with them getting more infrequent by the day. He wished he could have a permanent companion… maybe that would fix him. It appeared that Prime had answered his prayers on the dawn of his fifth month there. He and Mexican Dream didn’t know each other much. They met once before, years before Tommy’s exile. MD was Quackity’s cousin, though the two didn’t get along at all. Last Tommy heard Quackity was trying to ignore MD’s existence altogether. It had something to do with Quackity’s discomfort around most recreational substances and the fact that MD was a dealer of said substances. Tommy wasn’t too sure. That said, despite their limited knowledge of each other and MD’s not-so-stellar reputation, the man was all bright smiles and open arms as soon as he saw Tommy. He started yelling: “Tomás!” and beckoning Tommy close as soon as he was fully out of the Nether portal he'd come from.

I'll read this when I have time
Keeping the theme of outsiders having a look into the mess that is cPrimeboys with day 27, this time it's Phil's turn!
I was reading back an old analysis of mine of Tommy's pov of Dream's prison escape and I decided I couldn't not write something about it. It's too good. And Phil's and Tommy's interactions in that one were genuinely so interesting, so here we are!
Summary:
Phil couldn’t say he regretted the choice of breaking Dream out of prison per se. He understood the necessity for it. Techno couldn’t owe the man a favor forever, and, besides, it had been convenient to do while retrieving Ranboo from there. And it wasn’t like they’d known what the man was truly like beforehand, he and Techno genuinely believed he was just some dude with values that somewhat aligned with theirs. That said, he hadn’t been able to get Tommy’s frightened expression and ragged appearance out of his mind ever since the kid had come running over to his house, begging for Phil's protection from Dream. Phil still couldn’t comprehend how anyone’s first instinct coming out of prison could be to chase down and scare the crap out of a random teenager he had beef with at some point, but he knew that he couldn’t just leave Tommy to deal with it. Not because he felt any remorse over his actions, just because it wouldn’t be right. Tommy didn’t deserve to go through that alone. - or, Protecting a teenager from his stalker turns out to be far more difficult than Phil originally thought

I'll read this when I have time
Day 26 is here, and with it, we have yet another person figuring out how messed up cPrime relationship is! This time, the poor unfortunate soul is Tubbo.
Summary:
Dream had asked explicitly in his letter for Tubbo as well. Tubbo had been an even bigger thorn in his side than Tommy had with New L’Manburg and his butchered attempt at executing him during the Green Festival. And yet, Dream didn’t look at him once after they were done fighting. He probably could have gotten a punch in with how tunneled Dream’s vision seemed to be. It wouldn’t have gotten them anywhere, but he could have. “Listen, Tommy, since you joined the server, you’ve been a headache!” Dream had started off, already isolating Tommy as the single cause of all of his problems. As if Tubbo, one of the people who literally tried to execute him, wasn’t standing right there. “You’ve brought war, you brought terrorism, you’ve brought bad everything! But! But! The cause of all the wars, of everything, was attachment, alright? Your attachment to the discs, your attachment to Henry, to pets, to friends-” He waved vaguely in Tubbo’s direction at that but still didn’t look at him. “To land, to countries, to items, right?”. - or, Tubbo is hit with the realization that Dream may be a bit more obsessed with his best friend than he originally thought

I'll read this when I have time
We're on day 24 already! Can't believe how close we are to the finish line!
In this one, Techno and Dream have a long uncomfortable chat in prison about one British blond teen. Uncomfortable for Techno only, Dream is having a blast!
Summary:
Techno had expected a betrayal on Quackity’s part as soon as the man had approached him for help with Dream in the prison. The duck had always been two-faced, one of the many reasons why they could never get along, but he’d seen that plot twist from so far away that it felt almost pathetic. He decided to humor the guy just because desperation didn’t suit him. Of course, he set an escape plan. He left clear instructions for Phil to open up the letter he’d left him after no more than three days after he’d left. Three days. They were currently two months in. He was gonna kill Phil once he got out. It wasn’t even that they were being particularly mistreated, they were served plenty of raw potatoes each day that were easily cooked with the heat of the impenetrable lava wall separating them from freedom. Aside from that, he hadn’t seen either Quackity or Sam since they’d thrown him in there. No, the problem wasn’t necessarily the prison as much as it was… “So Techno, about Tommy…”. His cellmate.

I'll read this when I have time
Day 22 is here, and with it also came part two of my Ancient Magus Bride AU! Woooo!
Honestly, this was a lot of work, bot to write and edit as it's around 7k words, but I'm incredibly happy with the end result! I hope you guys will like it as well!
Summary:
Sequel of "You are an Obsession". It can be read independently, however. - As he turned the corner Dream came into view. Alongside him stood a man who wore thick leather gloves, an old-fashioned gas mask, gold-rimmed goggles, and one of those jumpsuits full of pockets that electricians and plumbers used. The whole look was pulled together by his long green hair that he kept tied together in a messy bun. He was cool, Tommy decided. Very cool. For some reason, he read as someone who would give very nice head pats and like big fluffy dogs. Tommy was so focused on the new face that he barely registered when Dream wrapped an arm around him and pulled him closer. Either that or he was just getting used to the possessiveness. “I thought I’d have you gather the things my hatchling needs” Dream explained. His hold tightened around Tommy’s shoulders for a moment, before he gave him a little push forward, so the green-haired man could see him better. The new guy let out a confused noise, so Dream hurried to explain: “I made him my apprentice a few days ago”.

I'll read this when I have the time
Day 21 is here and, would you look at that? More cults!
In my defense, this prompt really landed itself to it. And also this time it's different because we get vampire Dream as a change! Hurray!
Summary:
There were voices in the congregation Tommy had been raised in that the church must have uncovered something there they weren’t meant to find. Something buried deep beneath Logstedshire’s catacombs. Something hungry. Rumor had it that priests the Bishop didn’t like were sent there to satiate the beast. Tommy hadn’t believed those rumors until he stepped foot on the jetties of the Logstedshire’s dock. Despite having been rather religious since he was young he was not a superstitious person. He didn’t believe in demons and monsters. That said, the image of the church standing dark and imposing above the small village was certainly haunting enough for him to start questioning a few things. The church’s once pristine white walls had been blackened by what looked like a thick layer of soot, something rather unusual for a place so new. The purple crosses that were supposed to ornate its rich windows had also suffered a weird discoloration that now made them appear a reddish hue. And, worst of all, the statue of Lady Prime which had once stood proud next to the church had been decapitated. Her empty eyes were now fixed on the church’s entrance in a silent plea to whoever dared approach it to run.
