Hello Mr. Fell

During my time on twitter, you constantly shared words of comfort when we needed the most. And right now it is one of those moments.

The fandom as a whole is dealing with some upsetting news and thoughts. And I believe that a few words will be much appreciated.

We found each other through a story. A story about humanity and love and, admittedly, a certain amount of mild incompetence. I have seen miracles carried out through the generosity and kindness of people who gathered around those words — that idea — like a flaming sword in the wilderness. No matter what happens, we have each other. We have the idea. Nothing and no-one can ruin it or take it away, because it belongs to us, now. It belongs to you.

Let there be hands, joined to support those without comfort. Let there be ten thousand stories, ending, as they began, in a garden and with a loving kiss, and with the knowledge that we have finally found our home. Let there be sketches, and scribbles, and vast projects and small, silly jokes shared between friends. Let there be joy in defiance of hurt.

And let there be light.

Summary:

Dean raises his head. Unexpectedly, the green eyes that meet Cas’ aren’t swimming with unshed tears - they’re flaming with rage. “Oh, ho, look who the cat dragged in,” Dean bites out, his syllables sharp. Huh? Cas supposes that anger is a stage of grieving, after all - but from what he knows of Dean, he’d presumed its precursor - denial - would last a little bit longer. “I’m so sorry about the circumstances you’re presently in,” he begins. Sam winces slightly as Dean cuts Cas off, barking: “You’re sorry? Heh - you’re gonna be a lot more than that, bucko. Show me your neck.” Cas blinks at him in confusion. Dean huffs it out again. “Show. Me. Your. Neck.”
