Hi! I'm curious, how come the planet Mirraq has a sense of self and can communicate with the boys? How did this happen? Is there some kind of creation myth that tries to explain such a curious thing?

So the myth that her children have is that she was a cosmic force that traveled the entirety of the universe, and that at some point, she grew tired of always travelling, of never being able to have children the way she saw some worlds covered in them. So she stopped moving and willed herself a stable state of existence so that she might have her children. Her moons are her lovers who followed her everywhere and now stay at her side. They help her children grow and thrive. But like any good mother, she couldn't leave them alone to suffer needlessly, so she never gave up her ability to speak to other life. Though her lovers have and only she can hear them now.
