Agent!Reader x Yoru (Valorant)

Agent!Reader and Yoru go on a mission together.

All missions start off quiet.

Like the calm before a storm. Even breathing feels too loud to you as you wait behind the yellow shipping crate, shivering in your clothes. Maybe if Brim had warned you about the location for this mission before you were halfway here, you could have dressed warmer. 

All grumbling about the cold stopped when you heard footsteps. Carefully, you lifted up your spectre. You inched closer to the front of sight as quietly as possible. 

Another footstep to your right.

You press your back to the yellow box. Slowly, you peak around the corner. Staring back at you is a Phoenix look alike.

“Pushing B site,” you call into your comm, watching invisible footsteps race up to Phoenix loudly. His attention followed the fake footsteps, which gave you the chance to open fire on the Phoenix while you still had the advantage of him not spotting you yet.

More footsteps seemed to echo around you as Phoenix dropped into the snow. You hurried towards the back of site, wanting to regroup with Sage before taking another gun fight. After all, there was strength in numbers.

Sadly, before you could, a bullet shot past your head and drilled itself into the glass behind you. You ducked back behind the yellow box as whoever was shooting at you fired a couple more rounds, trapping you behind the box. You could hear someone running towards you from the other side as well. 

“Buy me some time,” Killjoy's voice rang in your comm. A glow suddenly lit up the surrounding area. Her Ultimate. Whoever was firing in hopes of hitting you stopped but the person running towards you didn’t. One fight at a time.

You turned back to where Phoenix’s body should have been. Instead, there was a gun in your face.

While you fired out of reflex and Phoenix fired at you, a blue light blinded both of you. You stopped firing, trying to move away from Phoenix’s blind spray, only for a pair of hands to grab you.

In the blink of an eye, you were hiding in Kitchen with Yoru crouched in front of you. Kill Joy’s ultimate went off, trapping the Phoenix behind your previous hiding spot.

“I don’t know whether to kiss you right now or shove you off of a bridge,” you said, covering your mouth. The feeling of jumping between dimensions wasn’t great for beginners.

Yoru grinned, “Can I choose?”

“Spike spotted in Mid,” Sage yelled into the comm. Yoru stood up and pulled you along with him. As he let go to drop his portal, you reached up to grab the back of his neck, forcing his head to your level where you planted a kiss on his lips.

“Stay safe.”

He gave your hand a lingering squeeze, “Ill be back soon.”
