I've been on this drug for way too long

Three weeks without it, still the withdrawals strong.

Ten years of my life and I wonder constantly where each year has gone and at which point in life did I go wrong.

Product of my environment or those I chose to get along..or if I just chose to say fuck it and not believe in right and wrong.

I can wonder and wonder but at the end of it all, this is my life and the one to blame is the one staring at me from the mirror on the wall.

To find a small bit of peace to know my future place.

In spite of all this self doubt and uncertainty there are two young boys who call me mom to whom I can only show strength without question because I don't want them to end up like me and that's without hesitation.

So I hide behind this facade, but unlike God i do not have the power to hide like this for long.

I need a nibble, just a small taste
