the admin team at yoonkookbigbang are extremely saddened to say that we will be cancelling the event for this year. due to a gross gap between the number of authors and artists that signed up we figured it was best to try again at a later date. we hope you all understand and we are truly sorry.

the ykbb is currently looking for team leaders!

what is a team leader?

a team leader is someone who will be tasked with keeping track of a handful of authors, artists, and betas through the duration of the challenge. they’ll keep track of their progress, relay any information to the admins, and reach out to their assigned teams to ensure everything is running smoothly. they’ll also be the go-to person for check-ins.

requirements:

be at least 18 years old;

follow the ykbb blog and/or twitter;

read the rules and the calendar (we need people who are familiar with and know the rules and deadlines);

reblog this post [helps us to spread the word, since we need as many people as possible];

a valid kkt and email you check regularly;

fill up the sign up form here

team leaders do not need to participate in any other role but they cannot drop out (unless special circumstances arise). they are expected to remain cool under pressure and deal with problems that can (and often will) come up during the next few months. they also need to have a good sense of organization and be easily reachable since issues can be time sensitive.

team leader applications will be open until october 31st or earlier depending on the number of sign ups we receive.

whats a pinch hitter?

pinch hitters are artists that step in if an artists drops out! they’ll be taking an artist’s place if one does open up during the challenge.

how do the teams work?

i'm not sure what you mean exactly but i'll try to explain it best!

authors submit us a summary for a story they're gonna write. once claiming opens, this is what artists and beta readers will use as a way to choose the story they want to work on.

after claiming is done, we will be announcing the author-artist(-beta reader) teams and will be assigning them all a team leader. then they all just need to stay in touch and work together on the author's story!

Can an artist get paired with a specific beta reader?

no, as beta readers work more with an author than artists. however, you can always try to claim the same story as i'm guessing you are in communication prior to claiming.

i dont understand what you mean by keywords. if they arent sentences, subheadings, or words in bold then how am i supposed to recognize them...

If you read the rules thoroughly you’ll see that we’ve clearly identified them as words you should remember. It’s to ensure that the rules are read in their entirety!
