As a Brazilian I wouldn’t change our gay culture for anything. Brazilian queer people can be so diabolical and so confident for no reason. As a Naruto fan as well as a recent enthusiast in FF lore, I am convinced barely anything would change if Naruto and FF VII (the remakes specifically) were in the same universe. (Like, FF VII happens in a far away future)

If anything, it would halfway explain why the scientists though Jenova was Cetra. In Naruto, the Sage of Six Paths (basically god) was the one who taught humans how to use chakra (a.k.a the life force thingy) for their benefit, and the Sage was Kaguya's (the Angry Alien Lady™) son. The first 'Cetra' would've been directly related to these aliens if Jenova and Kaguya were from the same species, so Shinra would obviously try to recreate who later on became a literally worshipped figure amongst the old civilizations as a creator god.

Like... Imagine Sephiroth discovering about the Sage, and convincing himself he's like, god's cousin or something, so he's just taking his rightful ppace as a god too.
