Let's analyse the new death screen shall we?
So. The new death screen right? It's cool and all sure, but some things are just bugging me. And in a good way.
Let's get the obvious stuff out of the way.
"I don't want to die."
This is pretty self explanatory, but the fact that we now have ACTUAL hints at V1 being able to feel, to be SCARED. It's giving me a whole new perspective on the "emotionless" war machine.
"Attempting connection with limbic modules"
Even more emotional hints.
Now, humanly wise, a limbic module is what helps the brain regulate emotions and memories. But I'm assuming this has the same job for the machines as well
The limbic system regulates memories, which means V1's "life" was literally going to flash before it's eye.
You wanna know what emotions the limbic system regulates?
V1 was anxious. They feared death.
The last bit I want to analyze is "no vocal interface detected, unable to complete task"
Ask yourself. What task would anyone be able to even complete while scared and anxious while dying that requires a voice?
Screaming.
V1 not only is scared while dying, not only do they feel fear as they're faced with death, not only is their life flashing before their eye, but they want to scream about it. Yet, can't.
