I know everyone is just harmless joking about Blitzø being bad in bed... but like let's slow down here.

Like, the first thing I noticed in this short was how 'less upbeat' Blitz was. He's still making sarcastic jokes left and right, but his usual bravado (mask) that he wears is slipping.

If this short takes place immediately after Apology Tour, than Blitz's self-esteem is down the shitter.

I don't know, maybe it's just the Blitz stan in me, but the incessant jokes about Blitz being bad in bed is starting to become tiring when the man looks like he's floundering to me.

I'll be blunt, to me, there is nothing funny about watching a character you adore, look like he's teetering on the edge of a mental breakdown.

Jokes are fine, but please...

Out of everything from Apology Tour I haven't seen anyone talk abt my fav scene, it's a little obvious but so well executed I need to talk abt it,,

First when Stolas is talking about how much he wants to be loved and wanted, we see Blitzø fidgeting like he's aching to tell him he wants him

Stolas says he wants someone to look at him and Blitzø looks up at him with this look. Camera pans back towards Stolas when he says "well you're the only one I want" like we're seeing him though Blitzø's eyes, hearing Blitzø's inner monologue.

Again Blitzø and the way he looks at Stolas with so much sadness is the focus here while Stolas says "[...] never let you feel so...". His head is down almost like he's out of shot, almost like we're hearing what Blitzø's thinking through Stolas' fantasy of what someone who loves him would say to him.

This is very basic media litteracy but I rly liked it, rly like the way they show us how much Blitzø cares even without having him say it yet, anyway I love this scene!

I like thinking about how Blitzø and Stolas are compatible in their messed up ways, but there's one clear incompatibility between them, on ground on their unresolved traumas;

Blitzø has anger issues, overactive fight reaction

while Stolas has been verbally attacked & abused by Stella for at least 17 years

Stolas has avoidant issues, overactive flight reaction

while Blitzø has been abandoned and ignored by many people practically whole his life

So it fucks with their relationship.

In Ozzie's Stolas avoids confrontation, Blitzø feels he's ashamed of him and gets upset and aggressive after giving Stolas a lift.

Later in the series, Stolas texts less and ,,gives Blitzø space" which makes Blitzø worried that he's not wanted anymore. Then when he's offered the crystal, it triggers him, making him convinced completely that he's being abandoned again. He jokes rudely, Stolas feels he's mocked and so he leaves, which causes Blitzø to lash out, which causes Stolas to kick him out...

They really need to resolve their internal problems first in order to work out

Just for context, [Helluva Boss spoilers] Blitz and Fizz were childhood friends working at a circus who, due to an explosion, didn’t speak for fifteen years.

And on an unrelated note, Blitz has shown a consistent love for horses throughout the series.

When they rekindle their friendship, this happens:

Blitz is going to be the death of me.

Right before the crystal, when he thinks that Stolas is really breaking up with him, he straight up begs.

"Stolas, please, I need this book. Please."

Uh huh the book . . .

"I need this book, Stolas. I will do anything.

Looking down (maybe telling himself, "I knew this was coming eventually") and then looking up, trying not to cry.

Despite . . . his everything here, I'm pretty scared that half the audience will think this is really about the book, and I'm not ready for the bad takes yet.
