They were unable to take their basic necessities and are now living in a sewing workshop in the city of Jenin after failing to find a home due to the high rental prices in Jenin and its surrounding areas."

URGENT EVICTION HELP

Hi everyone! I’m really really panicking right now. The court date for me to get evicted is on the 20th of February. I don’t have anywhere to go if I get evicted. I don’t even have a vehicle and I I would have to surrender my ESA, my cat Mittens. I’d be on the streets and it’s winter in Michigan.

my last post has lost traction so I'm making a new one. but hi for those of you that don't know I'm xandra. last august I had to go to court and I was almost given a legal eviction on my record which would have made finding housing difficult. I've been staying with a dear friend but we both agreed I would I would leave by April. I found an apartment that's affordable and in a nice area but it's hard to come up with the security deposit. Our home in northern Gaza is gone, completely destroyed by the occupation, along with our memories and sense of security. Anas (@dr-anas96) is severely suicidal and is dying on the inside in every sense of the word. Mentally he feels his life is over, and physically he's barely moving anymore, only occasionally coming to consciousness and vomiting blood.

I'm begging you from the bottom of my heart not to let my friend die. This entire time, during this genocide he's living through, he's been:

Supporting his elderly parents find shelter through the collapse of their tent.

Supporting the children of Gaza by cheering them up through drawing and acting and other activities, as well as teaching them survival skills.

Corresponding and reinforcing solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community, and the Black community.

Being an invaluable friend to many, including me.

Now, with some reprieve for Gazans seemingly so close, he is dying. I don't use this word lightly because I don't want to believe my dear friend is dying. I am only saying it because I have no escape from believing it
