ok so a friend told me that there's a theory out there saying that maude ivory could be katniss' grandmother, but i had a different idea. hear me out. lucy gray and corio are actually katniss' and prim's grandparents, but corio doesn't know that. even though we don't see the characters do anything on screen (or in the book i'm pretty sure), it could be possible that lucy gray had a baby after "vanishing"; either giving life to the mother of katniss and prim. the reason corio wouldn't know is because of the fact that she escaped, and just assumed that....... well, y'know, she.... didn't have a (his) baby? very cliché, but that's probably why the katniss plant was so important in the film and book. kind of setting the stage ig. and, the hanging tree also being used as a connection between the two, something passed down from generations. i'm sure there's a lot that i missed, and i'm also sure that i wasn't the first person to put this out there, but it was just bugging me and i had to get it out of my system.

As much as I love Jack and Belle as a couple with my whole heart, I will never fail to recognize the very painful yet subtle love Hetty has for Jack. Knowing that his heart belongs to Belle, she steps back and as I assume, learns to accept it. My heart truly hurts for her. Forever unrequited.
