He gave Jean postcards and magnets from his travels because Jean never got to see the world the way he did and Jean cherished them dearly.

He made Jean promise he wouldn't try to kill himself again, and Jean is still holding on to that promise. Kevin once again, making sure to protect his loved ones in the tough-love manner (truly his father's son).

He gave advice to Jeremy as to how Jeremy can help Jean adjust, revealing some truths about Raven lifestyle and probably also exposing his own vulnerabilities.

"Will you teach me when he is not watching? It could be our little secret."

Things that just made me fall more in love with Kevin overall:

He was a drama queen to the Ravens as a distraction so he could help Jean.

Kevin being described as a bitch, diva, drama queen etc

"Take Kevin's name out of your ignorant mouth."

Kevin being so caring overall with Jean (holding his hand, being soft with him and giving him a better chance with the Trojans)

Jean defending Kevin. "He has earned the right to be arrogant."

Kevin being a lot more confident, especially after changing the tattoo, standing his ground, and being something stable for Jean to lean on.

Jeremy trusting Kevin that he wouldn't fuck the Trojans over with Jean, because he knows Kevin and he knows he is a good friend.

Nora was truly honest when she mentioned that we would be getting a whole new perspective of Kevin.

literally every single time kevin and jean talk about neil they sound like a divorced couple arguing about their child...i thought it was just TSC but the first time jean meets neil 😭 even then it's giving 'you had custody! why didn't you raise him right?' 'we should accept him as he is.' 'fuck all that! he needs manners!' and neil is sitting there like why are my parents arguing about my behavior in rapid french no one but i can understand? i literally said please, i tried to be nice.

riko didn't know about the speaking french but did he know kevin and jean were close in some way. was he jealous

probably not. but what if he did. what if he was

did he realize that kevin knew him better than he knew kevin. that jean knew kevin better than him

did he do certain things to jean wishing he could so them to kevin. because as much as he enjoyed hurting both of them, i think hurting kevin was a bit more personal

kevin and riko spent too many years wrapped up in each other, as 'beloved brothers'. jean knew kevin's situation wasn't all sunshine and rainbows but was he ever the tiniest bit envious of what they had. of what they were supposed to be

and kevin's situation in the nest is fascinating to me. he knew riko better than anyone, he was perhaps the only one to care about riko. he was destined for greatness alongside riko as long as he played his role as second fiddle. but riko enjoyed hurting him. he had to watch riko torture jean, maybe even had to help at times.

he was both riko and jean's support system for years. but considering his unique position, who was kevin's support system?

and who was nathaniel to them? was he a ghost that haunted the very idea of the perfect court? or is that just jean's perspective and he represented something else for kevin and riko?
