Mistranslation in episode 10

So there was a pretty weird mistranslation in episode 10–weird, because the mistranslation doesn’t make any sense?? They added words that confused viewers, so I’m here to clear things up!

It’s pretty weird, this exchange–Yuuri asking Victor to give him some words for good luck, Victor saying he’ll do so…and then nothing really coming.

It’s because that’s not what either of them said, lmao.

In the first cap, Yuuri is explaining what the ring is for, and after mentioning that it’s gratitude for all Victor has done for him thus far, he adds that it’s also 「おまじない用」 (omajinai you), meaning “for good luck”. He doesn’t ask Victor to say anything; he is explaining that the ring is meant to be a good-luck charm.

Victor thinks this is fine and decides to go along with it (rather than press Yuuri for some deeper meaning), saying the ring that he’s just placed on Yuuri’s finger will be 「何も考えなくていいおまじない」 (nanimo kangaenakute ii omajinai), or “a good-luck charm so you don’t have to think about anything”.

When Yuuri thinks on the ice, he trips up and loses himself, so the ring is meant to be something he can cling to, an anchor, a reassurance of the bond he has with Victor so he doesn’t have to waste time thinking out there during his routines. He can simply focus on the skating while secure in the knowledge (via the ring) that he is bound to Victor.

SO yeah, if you were confused about this bit, I hope that cleared things up!

I really want to do an AlphaLevi x OmegaEren rp....

You see, a friend of mine “hates” smut... She agreed to do an AlphaLevi x OmegaEren with me, where my cute little non canon Eren goes into heat after being rescued by Levi, whom walks him home and ends up staying with him because Eren’s family aisn’t home because he’s supposed to start his first heat and he needed to be alone for that (I don’t know why that’s how we set it up), but she hates smut so she wanted to skip it, and I didn’t want to skip it because I’m kind of an asshole who hates skipping smut... But anyways, to appease her, and to make sure she didn’t have to do anything she didn’t want to do, we scrapped the rp and I decided I won’t be putting much effort in the decision making of our roleplays anymore, since I don’t want to do anything to make her uncomfortable. But now I can’t get this idea out of my head and I just really wanna roleplay it with smut but like, I can’t and it’s driving me insane but I can’t like, beg anyone to do this with me since I’m a lil bitch. I vent here too often.

In america, there's freedom of speech, even if you're opinion is wrong. Sadly that leads to a lot of hate, but I guess our nation's going to die after the election. I might be killed in Trumps four year reign. This nation won't survive it. But people are saying a big, racist, homophobic, torture loving, gun happy, anti immigrant, bully is better than a woman that made a mistake that did get soldiers killed. I understand that they're mad about the lie getting soldiers killed, but I am more worried about people still alive, rather than those that were killed because of a lie. Because those of us still alive, probably won't be after Trumps four year reign. I’m a lesbian, who speaks her mind, so I do fear for my life. I fear for my country, even though none of my years here have made me proud of, but still, I’d rather it not get worse. I’d rather not have the American equivalent to Hitler in power.
