다니 : it took me a while to find a good layout TT but i finally did so guess who's happy now hehe
LEE HEESEUNG
"what?" heeseung drawls, lips curling as he leans in, gaze dropping to your mouth before flicking back up."why are you looking at me like that?" his voice dips, teasing, but there's something in the way he tilts his head, slow, lazy, like he already knows the answer. you don't say anything, just blink up at him, wide-eyed, lips parted, and he exhales a quiet laugh, shaking his head. "you're so obvious," he murmurs, thumb grazing over your cheek, "you think i don't know what you're doing? giving me those doe eyes like you want something." he pauses, studying you, and then he smirks. "if you want a kiss, just say it, baby. you know i’d give you anything."
PARK JAY
"you’re not slick, you know that?" jay chuckles, the corner of his lips quirking up as he watches you from across the store, arms crossed over his chest. he steps closer, eyes softening as they meet yours. "saw you staring at that dress," he teases, reaching out to tuck a stray strand of hair behind your ear, fingers lingering against your skin. "and now you’re looking at me with those big, innocent eyes like you didn’t just silently beg me to buy it for you." his thumb grazes your cheek."you’re lucky you’re cute," he murmurs, voice warm with affection as he glances back at the dress. "go try it on, princess. it’s yours." there’s a smug tilt to his grin as he nudges you forward, his gaze never leaving you, already imagining how beautiful you’ll look in it.
SIM JAKE
"no, no, no—wait, that’s cheating," jake says, eyes flickering between the screen and you, his hands gripping the controller like his life depends on it. he's this close to winning, completely focused, but then you turn to him, all wide, glistening eyes and a tiny pout, and his brain short-circuits. "oh, come on, that’s not fair," he groans, voice laced with disbelief, but you see the way his grip loosens, the way his character suddenly stops moving. "you—" he exhales a laugh, already knowing he lost, because you know exactly what you’re doing. "you’re evil." he barely gets the words out before he drops the controller, turning to you instead, cupping your jaw as he leans in, kissing you, like you just won something way more important than the game. "there," he mutters against your lips, breathless. "happy now?"
PARK SUNGHOON
"—and then he just randomly paid for my coffee today? like i didn't even ask, he just did it, which was kinda sweet—" "no." you blink, looking up at sunghoon, confused. "huh?" "i said no. don’t like him. don’t like this story. don’t like that he paid for your coffee." you pause, staring at him before your eyes go wide, lips parting slightly as you tilt your head. doe eyes. you didn't even do it on purpose, but the second you do, he curses under his breath as he looks away. "you’re so unfair," he mutters, ears turning red, and you grin, leaning closer. "hoonie, you jealous?" "not jealous," he mumbles against your shoulder. "just don't like other guys thinking they have a chance with my girl."
KIM SUNOO
"come on, just let me do it once," sunoo whines, practically bouncing on his knees in front of you, hands already reaching for the brush. "i’ve watched you do it a million times. i got this." you sigh, handing over your makeup bag, watching as he fumbles with the foundation before applying it surprisingly well—though he squints in concentration. the eyeliner is a little wobbly, and the blush? generously applied. but when he gets to the lipstick, he gently tilts your chin up, his thumb brushing over your bottom lip. "okay, now just—" but you blink up at him, wide, innocent doe eyes locking onto his, and his brain promptly malfunctions. the lipstick smears past the corner of your mouth. "oh my god," he glares, "you did that on purpose."
YANG JUNGWON
"and then, right when i thought i was finally done, they dumped even more work on me," jungwon huffs, leaning back against the couch, arms crossed as he talks about his day. his brows are furrowed, lips pursed in frustration, but you just sit there, quietly listening, eyes locked onto him. big, wide, soft. he doesn’t even notice at first, too caught up in his rant, but then his words start to slow, his voice faltering as he finally looks at you. "stop looking at me like that," he mutters, shifting under your gaze. you blink, tilting your head slightly. "like what?" you ask, all innocence, even though you know exactly what you're doing. jungwon groans, throwing his head back. he peeks at you from the corner of his eye, lips twitching like he's trying not to smile. "like that,"
NISHIMURA RIKI
riki grins, mischief dancing in his eyes as he dangles your phone just out of reach, swaying it between his fingers like a prize. “come on, work for it,” he teases, laughing when you huff in frustration. you step closer, tilting your head, lashes fluttering as you look up at him with the softest, most innocent gaze you can muster. wide, pleading eyes, lips slightly parted, pure desperation. his smirk falters. his fingers twitch. “oh, hell no,” he mutters, already crumbling. you blink once—slow, deliberate. riki groans, dramatically clutching his chest before shoving your phone back into your hands. you giggle, triumphant. he narrows his eyes. “don’t think i won’t steal your stuff again.” but you both know he’s lost this round.

다니 ⠀⦂⠀why do i feel like i haven't posted a ot7 fic in a while ㅠㅠ but here it is >//< hope you flueries enjoy MUAH
LEE HEESEUNG
“oh? what's this, baby?” heeseung chuckles, eyes glinting with mischief as you pull back, cheeks warm from the sudden courage that had you pressing a soft kiss to his lips. his hand slides to your waist, tugging you closer until you’re nearly in his lap. “didn’t know you were so bold,” he teases lightly. “come on, angel, don’t get shy now. one kiss isn’t enough, you know.” his thumb brushes slow circles against your hip, eyes never leaving yours as he leans in, barely an inch separating you. “what, did i steal all your confidence? you can kiss me again if you want,” he hums, lashes fluttering. his thumb traces slow, lazy circles on your hip, and the way he looks at you with a smirk on his lips. “c’mon, one more. for research purposes.”
PARY JAY
you press a quick kiss to jay’s lips, and the way his ears turn pink is almost too cute to handle. “oh?” he blinks, a soft laugh slipping out as he tries (and fails) to play it cool. “that’s all? you teasing me, baby?” his hands rest on your waist, thumbs brushing gently against your sides. he looks away, biting back a smile, but you can see right through him. “i mean, if you want more, i could—” he clears his throat, pretending to be casual. “i’ll pay you. $10 for another kiss?” when you raise an eyebrow, his lips tug into a pout. “fine, how about $1,000? is that fair?” his tone is light, but the way his eyes keep darting to your lips gives him away. “no? not even for a million dollars?” he sighs dramatically, pulling you closer. “guess i’ll just have to earn it the old-fashioned way, then.”
SIM JAKE
“hey—” jake barely gets the word out before your lips press against his, soft and fleeting, just enough to make him freeze for a second before you’re already pulling away. his brows furrow instantly, lips parted in disbelief. “that’s it?” he pouts, eyes narrowing as he leans in, closing the distance again before you can protest. his kiss is slower like he’s trying to make up for how unfairly short yours was. when he finally pulls back, breath warm against your lips. “you know the rule, baby,” he murmurs, thumb brushing over your jaw. “if you kiss me, i have to kiss you back.” his arms tighten around your waist, pulling you impossibly closer. “and since you only gave me one—” he steals another kiss, then another, grinning against your lips when you whine. “—i’m making up for it.”
PARK SUNGHOON
sunghoon barely blinks when you lean in, your lips brushing his in a soft kiss. he knew it was coming—the way you hovered near him, eyes flickering to his face every few seconds, fingers lightly tugging at his sleeve. you wanted attention. his attention. and who was he to deny you? without hesitation, he sets his phone aside, arms wrapping around you as he pulls you into his lap. he presses a kiss to your temple, then another to your cheek. “should’ve just said you wanted my attention, baby.” his hands settle on your waist, warm and steady, eyes flickering over your face like he’s committing every little detail to memory. “what do you want, hm? kisses?” he hums, tilting your chin up with his fingers before stealing another kiss. “or just me?”
KIM SUNOO
“yah—baby!” sunoo whines the second your lips press against his cheek, his hands flying up in protest as he dramatically inspects his reflection in the mirror. “i just did my skincare!” he huffs, lips jutting out in the cutest pout as he gently pats at his face like you just ruined hours of effort. but even as he complains, his ears turn pink, and you don’t miss the way his eyes flicker to your lips, like he’s secretly hoping you’ll do it again. you grin, leaning in once more, and he gasps, swatting at you half-heartedly. “no, stop—” his words die the moment you kiss him again. a beat of silence. then, with a defeated sigh, he mutters, “fine… just one more.” but the moment you pull away, he’s already tugging you back in, stealing another kiss for himself.
YANG JUNGWON
the moment your lips press against his, jungwon’s eyes flicker with something playful. before you can even process it, he’s already pulling you onto the bed with a mischievous grin. “oh? you think you can just kiss me and get away with it?” he teases, and before you can answer, he’s peppering kisses all over your face—your cheeks, your nose, your forehead—each one quicker and more relentless than the last. you giggle, squirming under his hold as he hums in satisfaction, clearly winning whatever unspoken competition this has turned into. “hmm, i think i need more,” he muses, pinning you down just enough to press a dozen more kisses to your skin, his breath warm against your ear. “give up yet, baby?” but judging by the way he’s smiling, dimples on full display, he’s not planning to stop anytime soon.
NISHIMURA RIKI
the second your lips press against his, riki freezes—only for a beat—before a slow, smug grin spreads across his face. “whoa, whoa, whoa,” he drawls, leaning back with a teasing glint in his eyes. “you kissed me first? are you feeling okay, baby?” he places a hand over his chest, gasping. “wait—don’t tell me… you’re obsessed with me, huh?” he wiggles his brows, laughing when you groan and shove at his shoulder. but just as you’re about to turn away, he catches your wrist, effortlessly pulling you back in. “nah, don’t get shy now,” he murmurs, voice softer, teasing lilt still there but laced with something warmer. before you can process it, he closes the distance, pressing a lingering kiss to your lips. “see?” he smirks as he pulls away, eyes twinkling. “told you—you’re totally obsessed.”

다니 ⠀⦂ my daily schedule of posting back 💌 i hope you guys enjoy ! bad down enhypen, we all needed
LEE HEESEUNG ( when you're talking )
heeseung leans back against the couch, one arm draped lazily over the backrest, the other tracing slow circles on your palm of your hand as you ramble about your day, eyes sparkling with every little detail. he’s not even listening—not really. he hums here and there, nodding like he’s keeping up, but the truth is, he’s too busy watching you, completely entranced. the way your lips move, the way your nose scrunches when you get excited, the way you gesture with your hands—it’s all too cute. “you’re so pretty when you talk, you know that?” he murmurs suddenly, smirking as you pause mid-sentence, caught off guard. his fingers squeeze your hip, pulling you closer. “keep going, baby, don’t mind me. just enjoying the view.” his gaze flickers to your lips, and his grin deepens when you roll your eyes. god, you’re adorable. he might just be obsessed.
PARK JAY ( fixing your outfit )
jay leans against the doorframe, arms crossed, a lazy smile playing on his lips as he watches you fuss over your outfit, fixing your collar, smoothing out your pants. you look perfect—always do—but the way you're so focused, brows slightly furrowed, makes his heart ache in the sweetest way. “baby, you could wear a paper bag and still be the prettiest thing i’ve ever seen,” he murmurs, pushing off the frame to step closer. his hands find your waist as he twirls you effortlessly, eyes drinking in every inch of you like you’re a masterpiece. “mm, perfect,” he hums, fingers brushing under your chin to tilt your face up to him. “not that you needed fixing.” his thumb traces your cheek. “my princess,” he whispers, pressing a kiss to your forehead before spinning you once more, just to see you smile.
SIM JAKE ( when you're doing makeup )
jake leans against the vanity, arms crossed, eyes locked on you like you’re the most mesmerizing thing he’s ever seen. “you know, baby, you don’t even need all that,” he murmurs, a lazy grin stretching across his lips as he watches you blend out your concealer.. “but if it makes my girl happy, who am i to complain?” his voice is teasing, and when you shoot him a playful glare through the mirror, he chuckles, reaching up to tuck a stray strand of hair behind your ear. “so pretty,” he grins. “it’s actually unfair how bad you make me wanna kiss you right now.” his fingers tilt your chin, eyes flickering between your lips and your gaze. “you gonna let me, sweetheart? or do i have to sit here and suffer?”
PARK SUNGHOON ( when you tie his tie )
sunghoon stands still, letting you smooth out his collar, fingers deftly working the silk tie into a perfect knot. he doesn’t say a word—just watches. watches the way your brows furrow slightly in concentration, the way your lips part ever so slightly, the way you’re so effortlessly close. his hands find your waist, resting there as if it belongs there (it kind of does). but really, he’s just so weak for you. “you’re staring,” you murmur, not looking up, but you feel it—feel the weight of his gaze. he doesn’t deny it. doesn’t even blink. and when you finish, giving his tie a light tug to pull him closer, something in him snaps. “forget it,” he exhales before pressing his lips to yours, one hand cupping your cheek, the other holding your waist like he’ll never let go.
KIM SUNOO ( when you're smiling )
sunoo watches you with that soft, dreamy look in his eyes, completely mesmerized by the way your lips curve into that radiant smile. his heart flutters, the same way it did the first time he saw you smile like that. “how do you do that, baby?” he murmurs softly, his thumb brushing gently against your cheek as if committing the moment to memory. he’s memorized that smile by heart, the way your eyes crinkle ever so slightly and how your dimples peek through. it’s his favorite thing in the world. “you’re so pretty, angel.” he whispers, almost to himself, as his fingers tuck a loose strand of hair behind your ear. “my angel,” he adds.
YANG JUNGWON ( when you're wearing his hoodie )
he’s supposed to be working—really, he is—but you’re sitting there on his bed, drowning in his hoodie, legs curled up as you scroll through your phone, and he’s useless. completely useless. “you know, i don’t think you understand how unfair this is,” he muses, voice low, teasing, as he leans back in his chair, arms crossed. you glance up, raising a brow, but he just smirks, tilting his head. “i’m supposed to be working, but my pretty girl decides to steal my hoodie and sit there looking like that? kinda cruel, baby.” you roll your eyes, but he catches the little smile you try to hide. “seriously,” he continues. “so good you’re forgetting to work?” he huffs a laugh, pushing his laptop aside. “work can wait. come here.”
NISHIMURA RIKI ( when you're asleep )
the credits are rolling, the room bathed in the soft glow of the tv, but riki isn’t paying attention—his eyes are glued to you, fast asleep against his shoulder, lips slightly parted. the movie ended a while ago, but he hasn’t moved, too busy watching the slow rise and fall of your chest, the way your lashes flutter every now and then. and maybe—just maybe—he leans in, just a little, lips barely hovering over yours, just to steal the tiniest kiss— but the second his breath fans against your lips, your eyes snap open. “caught you,” you murmur, and riki freezes, wide-eyed. “were you seriously about to kiss me in my sleep?” he scoffs, pulling back immediately. “pfft, no. as if.” but the tips of his ears burn red, and when you smirk, reaching up to flick his forehead, he knows he’s never living this down.

LEE HEESEUNG likes to be woken up by you. your soft lips kissing the adored features on his face until you get the slightest shift in expression from him, yet knowing that he’s asleep. it takes a few more kisses here and there— along his jaws, down his neck and softly against his temple for him to finally flutter his eyes open. and as soon as heeseung catches a glimpse of you, the first thing in the morning, he secretly thanks his fortune that he’s so lucky. with one swift motion he pulls you against his chest, peppering kisses all over your face in return as he yawns sleepily. “good morning, doll,” he whispers, all the while knowing that you two would end some more time in the bed, in each other’s warm embrace.
PARK JONGSEONG always wakes up before you, switching off the alarm in a hurry so that you’re not disturbed. propped on one arm, he admires your peaceful face, tracing invisible patterns near your cheek. you stir in your sleep, arms instinctively reaching for him as you murmur his name. jay’s heart swells, he leans down to press a soft, feather light kiss on your forehead. “sleep a little more,” he mumbles lovingly, pulling you into a warm embrace, continuing to trace soft circles and patterns on your back as you doze off again, face buried in his chest. “my angel,” jay coos, thinking how’d his life get so cherishing to spoil him like this every morning.
SIM JAEYUN likes a cozy day in, both of your dreamy bodies entangled in a cocoon like state, the white and comforting duvets nearly falling off. it’s not until the alarm angrily rings for the nth time that you two finally groan and softly stretch into your own bodies, letting the warm sun rays soak in. jake buries his face deep into the crook of your neck, whining as you away ever so slightly to turn off the alarm. he doesn’t waste any time to pull you back in, letting himself drawl over your whole body like another weighted blanket. you enjoy it to a great extent although, this domestic moment that you share with him, makes you realise how lucky you are. “five more minutes,” jake groans yet again, when you remind him that both of you needed to get out of bed now, “please,” he whines, pressing lazy morning kisses on your neck.
PARK SUNGHOON wakes up first—but he never gets out of bed without you. instead, he spends a few quiet moments watching you, eyes tracing the gentle rise and fall of your chest, memorizing the way the golden sunlight kisses your skin. eventually, he presses a soft kiss to your temple, murmuring a groggy, “wake up, sleepyhead.” if you refuse, which you often do, he chuckles and resorts to his usual method—peppering light kisses all over your face until you groan and swat him away. when you finally stir, he grins, fingers lacing with yours as he tugs you out of bed. he won’t leave your side until you both freshen up, and only then will he let go—just long enough to make coffee, passing you your cup with a knowing smirk.
KIM SUNOO pretends to be asleep when he feels you shift against him, barely biting back a smile as you wiggle in his arms. he knows you’re trying to escape his hold, but he tightens his grip just a little, burying his face into your neck. “let me go, i need to get up,” you sigh, trying to escape his tickling breath. he stays completely still, even exaggerating his breathing. you huff, poking his cheek. nothing. you try again, this time wiggling harder, and just when you think you’re free—he suddenly flips you over, caging you beneath him with a dramatic sigh. “no… don’t wanna,” he mumbles, finally breaking character as he grins against your shoulder.
YANG JUNGWON loves the feeling of waking up next to you, your soft cheek pressed to his collarbone while his arms enclose around you like you’re a treasure— which you actually are. minutes later your slumber leaves you too, when you’re greeted by soft kisses from jungwon, accompanied by occasional whispers of sweet nothings. eventually, you both settle into each other’s arms. jungwon lazily scrolls through youtube, settling on a funny compilation. laughter fills the room as you stay tangled together, warmth shared beneath the blankets. you chuckle at a clip, but he’s too busy admiring you. “you’re not even watching,” you tease. “i’d rather watch you,” he murmurs, grinning. you groans, burying your face in his neck. “you’re so cheesy.” “and you love it.”
NISHIMURA RIKI clings to you like a koala, if he could absorb all your body heat into his, he would. his arms are wrapped tightly around your waist, his legs tangled with yours beneath the blankets, keeping you completely trapped in his warmth. you groan, attempting to wiggle free, but he only tightens his grip, mumbling, “nope. you’re not going anywhere.” his voice is thick with sleep, breathing warm against your neck as he burrows even closer. “riki, we need to get up,” you murmur, but he only groans in protest. “the only thing i need is you right here,” he mutters, squeezing you like a pillow. his lips press a lazy, lingering kiss to your shoulder before he sighs. “just a few more minutes, okay?” you smile, giving in, because mornings wrapped in riki’s arms are the best kind of mornings.

leighi : hi everyone! this is my first posted fic, so please enjoy and support ♡ i will be posting a lot more shortly :) have a lovely read
romantic!heeseung who's obsessed with you welcomes himself into the apartment, the clattering of his things ringing from the main entrance through the rest of the living space.
“baby, i'm here! you ready, girl?” heeseung called out, leaning against the wall with one hand as he kicked his shoes off. his wide bambi eyes searched for you, quickly stepping forward as soon as he could. all he wanted to do was see you.
hearing the back-to-back nicknames made your heart flutter. even after exactly four years of dating, he never failed to make you giddy. young and in love? yes, you were.
“yeah, i’m almost ready!” you called back, leaning toward your bathroom mirror to put the finishing touches on your outfit. you’d spent two weeks planning how you’d look, down to every freckle you carefully dotted across your cheeks and nose. your anniversaries with heeseung were always so special, and you wanted to look perfect for him.
“where are you?” heeseung laughed after searching for half a minute, waddling into your room.
you shoved the back to your earring on quickly, checking both ears to see how the arrangement you made finally looked together. it really was perfect.
“sorry, sorry. i was putting my earrings on,” you replied, an amused grin spreading across your face. you stepped out of the bathroom and walked over to your bed, grabbing your small handbag. digging through your nightstand drawer, you almost didn’t notice heeseung standing behind you. why?
he was frozen.
his heart pounded at the sight of you.
even without facing him fully, you had him completely mesmerized.
you wore a dusty light blue dress, the fabric hanging down in soft strips like jellyfish tentacles that floated with every movement you made. sparkles from the waist up shimmered under the golden light from your window.
you looked ethereal, and heeseung had no other words to describe it.
“y/n…” his voice was barely a whisper.
“hm?” you hummed, quickly closing the drawer, wallet in hand. you turned to face him, and heeseung just about had a heart attack.
it was the way your hair flipped over your shoulder, your bangs framing your face perfectly. the white bow tied at the back of your half-up ponytail, the soft curls at the ends of your hair bouncing with each movement. your eyes—big and mesmerizing. the gloss coating your lips, making them too pretty to kiss and ruin. except, that was all he wanted to do.
“you look—” heeseung’s voice caught, his hand quickly coming up over his mouth.
well, shit. he looked just as good.
his hair was styled, a middle part with the slight mullet in the back resting against his neck. his eyes were soft but drawing, a touch of makeup making them even more striking. the chapstick you gifted him—just a hint of red tint—pulled everything together. he decided to pamper himself, and wow, did it work well.
your eyebrows lifted as he stayed quiet, his gaze raking over you. you started giggling after a moment, and that’s what got him. your pretty teeth, the way your eyes lit up.
heeseung let out a breath, finally dropping his hand to his side. he walked up to you slowly, his hands reaching to settle at your waist protectively just like always.
“you’re staring,” you teased as your hands rested on his biceps, giving them a loving squeeze.
“damn right i am,” he muttered proudly, turning you from side to side to take you in from every angle. you laughed, letting him admire you, before swatting his chest lightly. heeseung chuckled, his eyes finally meeting yours.
“well?” you wanted to hear him say it, even if his reaction had already told you everything.
“you are the prettiest girl in the whole world,” he said slowly, pulling you close.
“thank you,” you murmured, voice small. tilting your head slightly, you let out a little hum, making his smile widen. heeseung expected you to brush it off like you usually did, but your shyness told him you still didn’t fully believe him.
“no, seriously,” he said firmly, his expression shifting into something deeper, something in love. “you are so beautiful, i’m being blinded.”
“‘blinded,’ hee?” you teased, raising an eyebrow.
“yeah,” he replied confidently with a scoff, dreamy-eyed. he pulled you in by your waist again and you instantly wrapped your arms around his neck. and when he leaned down and pressed his mouth against yours, you knew he was ruining your glossy, too-pretty-to-kiss lips.
you pulled back with a big smile, your cheeks pink and round. he reached up and poked your dimple, earning a laugh from both of you.
“wow, you really are gorgeous,” he repeated suddenly, breathless. his gaze traced over every inch of your face, the corners of his lips curling up more and more with each second. the love in his eyes made your heart thump wildly in your chest. he groaned softly and leaned back for a moment, his eyebrows lifting with an almost overwhelmed expression. “god, i love you, baby.”
he pulled you in for another kiss, and you just laughed, already knowing what was coming.
“i love you too, hee,” you murmured, welcoming his kiss.
then his arms tightened around your waist, and he began to press soft kisses along your jaw, under your ear, and down your neck. he mumbled sweet, endless things about how pretty you were and how much he loved you.
but suddenly, he paused, pulling back to meet your eyes. there was something playful in his expression as he bit his lip, eyebrows quirking up.
“what…?” you asked, your voice pitching higher, suspicion in your tone. you squinted at him as he turned you gently, his hands moving to the back of your dress.
“will i be able to take this off you tonight?” he asked, and you scoffed in surprise.
“heeseung!” you tried to turn to face him, but he held you in place, fingers trailing teasingly along the top hem.
“what?” he whined, pretending to be innocent. “i just don’t wanna ruin your pretty dress trying to get to your even prettier body.”
he finally let you turn, eyes glimmering with mischief as he searched your face for a reaction. you sent him a glare, but he only grinned wider, giggling at your flustered expression.
you glared harder. “try to touch the zipper and you’ll lose a finger.”
he gasped dramatically, clutching his chest. “so violent! but also… kinda hot?”
you rolled your eyes, trying to hold back a smile as he pulled you closer again, his hands wandering a little too innocently.
“you’re seriously not gonna let this go, are you?” you asked with an annoyed expression, half amused, half exasperated.
“not until i see what’s under that dress,” he whispered, lips brushing your cheek.
you put your hand on his chest, trying to push him away lightly. “we have a dinner reservation to get to, just a reminder.” you both knew that if he started with you, he wouldn’t be able to stop.
“oh, we’ll get to the reservation,” he murmured, his lips already finding yours again, his hands anything but innocent.
and just like that, he kissed you again—slow at first, just enough to have you both melting into each other’s hold while his fingers crept higher.

Lee Heeseung was perfect.
He was the kind of guy who didn’t need to try. The kind who moved through life with an effortless grace, never stumbling. He was tall, with a figure that made him look like he belonged on the cover of a magazine rather than in a cramped high school classroom. His face, sharp and symmetrical, was the type that made people stop and stare. But what made him truly captivating wasn’t just his looks—it was the way he carried himself.
He was intelligent but never boasted about it. Teachers praised him, yet he never sought their approval. He aced tests without studying, as if knowledge simply flowed into his mind. He was athletic but never bragged about his skills. He had a natural talent for everything he touched, from basketball to music, but he never showed off. He was quiet, reserved, and utterly untouchable.
That was what made him so desirable.
Girls admired him from a distance, stealing glances when they thought he wasn’t looking. They whispered about him in hushed voices, fantasizing about what it would be like to be the one to break through his icy exterior. He was the school’s unreachable star—the kind of person who could shatter hearts without even trying.
You were no exception.
You liked him. More than you wanted to admit. But unlike the others who simply admired him from afar, you refused to be just another nameless admirer. You told yourself you were different. That if he just got to know you, if he saw the real you, he’d realize you weren’t like the rest. That you weren’t just another girl in a sea of admirers hoping for a glance, a smile, a sliver of attention.
But Heeseung?
He didn’t even look at you.
The first time you tried to talk to him, he walked past you like you weren’t even there. As if the words you had worked up the courage to say had evaporated into thin air before they could reach his ears. The second time, he didn’t even bother responding. He didn’t nod, didn’t acknowledge you—nothing. Just silence. As if you were air.
The third time, you were almost sure you heard him sigh before ignoring you altogether. A quiet, nearly imperceptible exhale, like you were nothing more than an inconvenience. Like the very act of acknowledging you would be a waste of his time.
But none of that discouraged you.
If anything, it only made you more determined.
You didn’t throw yourself at him.
You didn’t giggle excessively when he walked by, didn’t fawn over his every move like he was some untouchable deity. You didn’t bat your eyelashes or find excuses to brush your hand against his in the hallways. That wasn’t your style. Instead, you treated him like he was just another classmate—normal, approachable, no different from anyone else.
Casual greetings in the hallway. A quiet “Hey” as you passed him by. Occasional comments during class when you were assigned to the same group, nothing forced, well nothing desperate. You never lingered, never tried too hard. And though Heeseung never acknowledged you at first, never gave you the satisfaction of even a glance, you started to notice.
He didn’t push you away.
If you sat next to him in the library, he didn’t move to another table. If you found yourself walking beside him after school, he didn’t tell you to leave. He never spoke first, never initiated a single interaction, but he never actively avoided you either. It wasn’t much—just tolerance, indifference at best—but in a world where most people didn’t even get that from him, it was something.
That was a start.
One afternoon, you spotted him in the library, his usual spot near the window bathed in golden light. A thick book rested in his hands, his long fingers curled around the edges of the pages. He was always like this—quiet, absorbed, lost in a world far removed from the noise of the school. It made approaching him feel like stepping into sacred territory, but you did it anyway.
"You’re always in the library," you remarked as you slid into the chair across from him, setting your own book down. "You like quiet places?"
For a moment, there was nothing. Just the steady tick of the clock on the wall, the muffled rustling of pages being turned somewhere in the distance. You half-expected him to ignore you like he always did, to pretend you hadn’t spoken at all.
Then—
"Mhm."
It was a single sound. Not really a response, barely even an acknowledgment. But it was the first time he had ever directly communicated to you, and for a fleeting second, you felt like you had won something.
You forced yourself to stay composed, biting back the urge to grin. "I think I do, too," you mused, flipping through the pages of your own book even though you weren’t reading a single word.
Heeseung didn’t reply. He didn’t look at you, didn’t give any indication that he cared whether you stayed or left.
And he didn’t tell you to go.
That itself, felt like a victory.
From that point, your interactions with Heeseung had shifted. While he still didn’t seek out conversations with you, he no longer pretended you weren’t there. Whenever you spoke, he’d offer short, clipped responses, but at least they were responses. There was no longer the stony silence that had greeted you before. In some strange way, it felt like progress.
It was on a quiet afternoon that you found him again in his usual spot by the windows in the library. You had grown accustomed to seeing him there, always surrounded by books, his head down, fingers flipping through pages with a steady precision that seemed almost otherworldly. You wondered how someone could immerse themselves so completely in something, but then again, you didn’t have the luxury of such focus.
Without overthinking it, you walked right up to his table and took a seat across from him. You didn’t even hesitate. If he noticed the way you slid into the chair, he gave no indication, his eyes still glued to his textbook.
"Hey," you said, leaning back in your chair casually. "If I sit here long enough next to you, do you think I’ll absorb some of your genius?"
Heeseung exhaled sharply, a breath that almost sounded like the beginning of a quiet chuckle.
You were encouraged by the sound—anything that wasn’t complete indifference was progress in your book. You took a chance, pushing the conversation further.
"Or maybe... I’m just searching for ways to stay with you," you added, your tone light but with a hint of something deeper. You didn’t know why you said it exactly, but the words left your mouth before you could stop them.
This time, Heeseung’s eyes flickered up from the book. The moment he met your gaze, the air between you seemed to shift. His eyes were no longer distant, but focused, a flicker of something unreadable in them. You could feel the tension growing, the brief silence stretching uncomfortably between you. For a second, you thought he might just go back to ignoring you, but he didn’t.
Instead, he leaned back slightly in his chair, just enough to study you more intently. There was no hint of warmth in his gaze, no invitation to continue. He simply observed you, his face still mostly neutral, but his expression somehow more thoughtful than before. It was as if he was weighing something, trying to figure you out, trying to decide what to make of this little exchange.
You could feel your pulse picking up. Why did it suddenly feel like he was looking through you, as if seeing something you didn’t know you were showing?
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of silence, he spoke, his voice low but clear. "...You’re persistent."
You blinked, momentarily caught off guard by the sharpness in his tone. For a moment, you didn’t know how to respond. His words hung in the air, neither an insult nor an approval, but something in between—an acknowledgment. His eyes still held you captive, a quiet intensity in them that made your stomach do strange things. The weight of his gaze felt different now, like he was seeing more than just your surface.
You tilted your head slightly, trying to keep the lightness in your tone despite the tension building between you. "You say that like it’s a bad thing."
He didn’t immediately respond. He just studied you, his gaze never wavering. It was almost like he was measuring you, piecing something together in his head. His lips parted for a brief second, as if to say something more, but then he paused. His eyes softened just slightly—so subtly that you almost missed it—and with a barely perceptible shake of his head, he spoke again.
"It’s not."
The words were quiet, almost reluctant, but the faint smile that tugged at the corners of his lips was unmistakable. It was small, almost imperceptible, but it was there. The weight in your chest seemed to lift, replaced by something lighter, something that made your heart skip a beat. Was this real? Had Heeseung, the quiet, distant genius, just—smiled at you?
You sat there for a moment, stunned. His gaze was still on you, as if waiting for your reaction. Your mind raced, trying to make sense of it, but all you could focus on was that small, rare smile. It was the first time he’d given you anything like it, and it was more than you had ever expected.
For the first time, you realized you might just be getting somewhere.
From that point on, something shifted between you and Heeseung. It wasn’t drastic, nothing that would make people think you were suddenly best friends, but there were subtle changes. Small shifts that hinted at something more. He still wasn’t particularly warm, not the kind of person who’d start a conversation for no reason, but you noticed. When you spoke, he listened, his eyes moving toward you just a bit faster, his focus a little more evident. When you joked, sometimes—just sometimes—he would smirk, a fleeting curve of his lips that made you wonder if he actually found it amusing. You’d even caught him glancing your way during class, his expression unreadable, but the fact that he was looking was something.
But it was on one particular afternoon when things felt... different.
You had been sitting in your usual spot in the library for weeks now, a quiet observer of the space around you. The routine was comfortable, but today, you didn’t show up. You had something to do, something that took priority, and as you were heading home later that day, you didn’t think much of it. You certainly didn’t expect Heeseung to notice.
But the next day, as you slid into your usual chair across from him, you were met with an unexpected comment.
"You weren’t here yesterday."
It was said so casually, almost offhand, as though he hadn’t been paying attention to you at all, but the words still caught you off guard.
You blinked, looking at him in surprise. "You noticed?"
Heeseung didn’t answer immediately, his gaze lingering on the book in front of him. His fingers fidgeted with the pages, flipping them aimlessly, but there was a slight tension in the way he moved, a hint that maybe he hadn’t been as nonchalant as he appeared. After a brief pause, he finally muttered, "It was quieter than usual."
You couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at that. "Oh come on, am I really that annoying to you?"
Heeseung didn’t answer right away. He just stared at the pages in front of him, his expression unchanged. But you could sense a slight shift in the air, a change in the quiet that surrounded you. You waited a beat before deciding to push a little further, just to see what would happen.
With a teasing grin, you leaned forward slightly. "Did you miss me, Heeseung?"
The words hung in the air for a moment, and you almost thought he wouldn’t respond at all. Then, finally, he scoffed, a sound that should’ve been dismissive, but there was no real bite to it. He looked up at you, eyes still distant but... softer than before.
"Don’t push your luck," he said, but the words were half-hearted, and there was something in the way he said it that made you feel like he didn’t mean it at all. It was more of a defense, a small, safe distance he kept between you, just enough to keep the conversation from getting too close.
But you could tell.
He had missed you.
The way his gaze lingered on you, the slight hesitation in his voice, it was all there, even if he didn’t want to admit it. Heeseung might not have said the words outright, but you knew. And that small shift, that barely perceptible change, felt like another step forward.
Maybe you had become a part of his routine after all.
After that, the dynamic between you and Heeseung shifted even more. He didn’t just tolerate your presence anymore—he seemed to expect it. It wasn’t like he went out of his way to ask for your company, but there was something in the air now, a silent understanding. He no longer acted indifferent when you were around, and the subtle tension between you both seemed to have settled into something more familiar, almost comfortable. You’d find yourself slipping into the seat across from him in the library with ease, and he’d never bat an eye. You were part of his routine now, and somehow, that felt like progress.
Then, one afternoon, something happened that you definitely didn’t expect. You were both lost in your books, the quiet hum of the library filling the space between you. The usual silence stretched on until Heeseung’s voice broke it, low and unexpected.
"You’re not like the others."
Your heart skipped a beat. You glanced up at him, blinking in surprise. The words hung in the air, heavy with meaning, but Heeseung didn’t look up from his book. You were still caught off guard, unsure of how to respond to such an abrupt observation.
"What do you mean?" you asked, your voice a little softer than usual, as though his words had caught you off guard more than you were willing to admit.
Heeseung didn’t answer immediately, his jaw tensing just slightly, like he was debating whether or not to continue. His fingers absently turned a page in his textbook, but the tension in his posture told you he wasn’t as absorbed in his studies as he appeared to be.
"You don’t try too hard," he finally said, his voice quiet but steady. "You don’t pretend to be something you’re not."
The words hit you harder than you expected. It was a compliment, but it wasn’t said like one. It wasn’t the kind of praise people give when they’re trying to win someone over. No, it felt... genuine. As if Heeseung was acknowledging something about you that he found rare or different.
Warmth spread through your chest, the simple recognition of who you were coming from him settling in a way that made you feel seen. You smiled a little, trying to keep the moment light.
"And?" you teased, leaning in just slightly, your voice playful. "Do you like that about me?"
For a moment, you thought he’d brush it off, like he usually did. Maybe give you a sarcastic remark or a quiet scoff and go back to his book. But Heeseung didn’t do that this time. He paused, his eyes flicking up to meet yours, and the moment his gaze locked with yours, everything seemed to freeze. His eyes were steady, intense, a look you’d never quite seen before. There was something raw in it, something real, that made your breath catch in your throat.
"Maybe," he said, the word so soft, so quiet, you almost wondered if you’d imagined it. His voice barely above a whisper, but the weight of it hung in the air, heavy with something unspoken.
Your heart stopped.
Maybe.
It wasn’t a confession. It wasn’t a promise. It wasn’t a "yes" or a "no." It was just that one word, hanging between you like a delicate thread.
But coming from Heeseung? It was everything.
The way he had looked at you, the way he had said it—like there was something there, something he wasn’t willing to put into words, something more than just indifference or simple acknowledgment.
In that moment, the air between you felt charged, thick with the possibility of more, and you could feel it. Maybe it wasn’t a confession of any kind, but it was a small, fragile step closer to something you hadn’t quite figured out yet.
And for now, it was enough.
