How to Put Something Under A Cut(with pictures)

Okay, so I know a lot of roleplayers like to write smut, gore, and all that fun stuff. However, some other roleplayers find things like that triggering. (Other great times to put a post under a cut are when you make a super long OOC post!) The best way to make both parties happy is to put the post under a cut, or 'read more' it.

Here's how you do that:

-- Make your post

(fanfiction credit here)

-- Now look up at the bar where it has the 'Bold' and 'Italic' buttons

-- See the second-to-last button up there?

-- Click back to the beginning of your post

-- And press that button!

-- Your post should now look like this:

-- And when you hit 'Create Post', the post will show up like this:

AND, you can do it with reblogs, too! 

-- Just put the cursor at the beginning of what you typed instead of the beginning of the whole thing.

So I hope this is informative to all of you, in case you were unaware of how to put a post under a read more link!
