I was rewatching some of Jimmy's non-Minecraft vods and remembered how much I absolutely adored these four's dynamic (just a bunch of jokesters, a handful of sillies), so I made them a slightly jester-themed fusion

I used @chrisrin's designs for all of them as a base and as reference for their powers/weapons

For Taaffeite's weapon, it's a combination of Grian's bombs, Joel's spear (standard Pearl weapon, so I guessed), and Jimmy's hydrokinesis. Add 'em all up and, voila, giant bubble wand :]

Note: The bubbles can in fact explode, I just don't know what they'd look like

Hello everybody! I’m here with some exciting news!

So, unfortunately, a few of out friends from last time don’t seem to be able to roleplay, which is a shame. But! We wanted to see who wanted to come and join instead!

Hello everyone! As you can tell, this account went a bit inactive, partially due to the end of empires! But that’s all going to change!

Our friends decided we’d do roleplay accounts again! We are all on different accounts, as to not clutter these ones, and also because some of us have decided to change character! For example, I’m going to be playing Shubble this time around!

We’ll be starting in a few days to a week, so we can get everything ready. I’ll link all the accounts when I can.

[When she heard the voice of her friend, she put the drinks down on the blanket she had prepared for them to make the flower crowns on. It was prepared to be like a picnic, only without the food. Katherine then stood up, and began approaching wherever Lizzie’s voice had drifted from, jumping out from behind a rather large flower.]

Boo!

[She exclaimed as she did so, clearly overjoyed to see the Ocean Queen]

Lizzie! How are you? Are you well? I’m glad to see you!

[After everything that had happened, Katherine had been a bit on edge. But she wanted to stop that, and just have some funs. So she planned to invite her longest ally over.]

[And so, Katherine wrote a letter, reading,]

Dear Lizzie, the Ocean Queen,

I was wondering if you would do me the pleasure of coming over today? We could make flower crowns and have a good time together!

Come over whenever you want!

Love, Lady Katherine of the Overgrown.

[She smiled as she finished writing the letter, heading to the minecart tracks that connected their kingdoms, and placed it in the chest, sending the vehicle off to the Ocean Empire]

[Katherine began preparing for Lizzie to come over, picking and apologising to flowers that she took. But it would be fine, right? She could plant several in return and nurture them though. It would be fine. But afterwards, she made some lemonade and other various drinks for them to have and forget their troubles while they make flower crowns and be merry]

[She had began to flee, listening to Pearl’s advice, to get reinforcements, someone, anyone that could help, but of course, didn’t get far at all before she was pinned. She almost screamed, until she heard the plan.]

Ok, I see. Is the plan to stop Xornoth? Pearl being corrupted isn’t good. We have to help her, along with everyone else who has been manipulated, and brought to the dark side. Now, still pin me. We’ll get Pearl to try to ‘save me’

[ As the commotion goes on, Pearl stands frozen in the corner of the ballroom, her mind racing too fast to catch anything. She tries to move— she knows she has to fight, but on which side? Across the room, the twins stare at her expectantly from their own fights. The odd warmth she has been slowly drowning in grows stronger and stronger by the minute, enclosing her in a dreamlike cocoon, and now Pearl is sure that the heat is from no fire or friendship. ]

[ The world flashes red. Pearl feels vines wrap themselves around her arms and slowly sinks in. Corruption. The second her eyes meet Lord Xornoth’s, she already knows what is in store for her. Moments later, as the burning warmth of corruption rushes through her veins and floods out everything else, she is proven right. Pearl forces her eyes open with the last of her energy, drinking in the look of terror in her friends’ faces and smiles bitterly before succumbing to the raging fire inside. And as she opens her eyes again, they flash blood red. ]

[ Swiftly, she places herself between the mad king and Xornoth, smiling brightly. ]

Well well, what do we have here? After everything we’ve been through, Joel, and you choose to do this? Katherine, I think we have a traitor on our hands. After all, he did leave you back then in that cave…

[ Lowering her voice to a bare whisper that only her and Joel can hear, she adds. ] You will never be worthy, coward. You scream at the sight of them, and don’t even begin to think I did not see that wink back there.

The greater good it may be, but this isn’t a time for the outside. This is a time for us all to get along, not for all this.

[Her fist not gripping her sword was clenched by her side]

My kingdom is dying because of both. Neither is a good thing, and both need to be stopped! We all need to work together for that, to help everyone. For the greater good.

[And yet a she didn’t step in to fight, seeming hesitant. She didn’t know who to trust. Pearl, right? Pearl was her friend, not corrupted and trying to protect her. But something more was going on. It had to be.]

It couldn’t be, right? Right? Still, she wasn’t sure. But what she was sure about was that she wanted this to stop.]

Stop! Right now! I- I’ll kill you if I must! Just stop fighting! Now! I don’t care about sides! I care about everyone being happy and safe right now. So stop!

[Katherine was panicked and angry at this. This was meant to be a festival for friendships and fun with everyone, and the demon just had to come and ruin it. But at the same time, she was terrified that something and someone would be hurt.]

Everyone! Stop this at once! This is meant to be a time for joy! I’m sorry if I didn’t invite Xornoth, I assumed he wouldn’t want to come. But please! We don’t need chaos!

[She was clearly terrified, and motioned for everyone who didn’t need to be here to flee. For instance, civilians. More people didn’t need to be hurt.]

Please, no violence. We don’t need fighting, not here especially!

[ As the first song slowed to a halt Gem pulled away from Fwhip, exchanging a nod. ]

Hello? May I get everyone's attention please?

[ The other rulers all turned to look at her, and she made sure Fwhip was in position before she continued. ]

Now as we all know Winterfest is a time for forgiveness, a time where alliances and enemies are put aside for cheer and laughter. But it hasn't escaped my notice that one ruler has been excluded from receiving an invite.

[ She subtly signals to Fwhip and he drops a smoke bomb, fog filling the room and clouding the area around the door. ]

I have taken it upon myself to correct this error, so it is my honour to introduce King Xornoth of the nether and all things corrupted!

[On the of Winterfest, Katherine had been very busy. As she was hosting it at her castle, it was only right that she would be preparing everything. Everyone who was left in the kingdom had been preparing everything, from food for a buffet style table, to decorations to liven up the place, to picking out the perfect music to dance to.]

[She had never really seen the point in celebrating Winterfest, as it was, if she understood it, a celebration of winter, the season which kingdoms like her own struggled to grow things needed for exports. But she certainly enjoyed the fact that everyone came together and talked to each other, casting quarrels aside. It was a time for forgiveness and joy.]

[And so, the time had arrived. Katherine was all dressed and in her ballroom, ready to greet all the guests as they entered. That was her job, after all.]
