Tarn smiled calmly he lifted his servo looking over the candies and shanix shared with him. After a moment of watching Rodimus do a little dance (which was utterly adorable). He carefully removed his mask revealing his face to the smaller mech.

Two different colored optics blinked with a gentle gaze and one side of his face was scared brutally. Though despite the presence of a troubled past where written on his faceplate the expression was calm and happy.

Tarn tossed the candies into his own intake and nodded with a hum of enjoyment. The first sound he’s made but even with that sound he ensured his voice caused the small mech no discomfort to the best of his ability.

Squinting, tiny bit suspicious. Staring UP while at a stall buying some energon candy. His spoiler flicks a tiny bit... But- " ... Hey look. I got here first. Just cause you're taller doesn't mean you can steal the last tin of cinnabar jellies." Frag it he's fought Tarn before. He hasn't had Cinnabar sweets in AGES and that was the /last/ tin the stall had-! Give! Rodimus puffs up a tiny bit.

Tarn’s attention is stollen by the smaller mech puffing and looking up at him with suspicious optics.

His spark instantly melts at the sight of Rodimus pouting at him, seemingly ready to tussle.

In his universe this little one is his and Magnus progeny, though this Rodimus looks different than his own? However, no matter the universe he would never deny his brightest star anything. His little ones are spoiled rotten always.

He feels a smile spread across his features hidden behind his Decepticon cowl. The larger mech carefully kneels down. Offering Rodimus the cinnabar jellies he so desires.

Tarn does not speak but does watch the little sunbeam idly.

Tarn gasped. “ My lord!” He looked the mech over shocked at his appearance. “ My apologies- I did not recognize you…” he bowed courteously.

“ Of course, we have heard your message disbanding the Decepticon cause. I have already laid my weapons down.” He assures. His spark went out to the mech he had so much respect for. It was obvious he was exhausted… and his optics, once full of fire seemed empty. “ Please might I offer you lodgings or energon?“ he offered wishing to aid him.

Regardless of their cause being ended Tarn cared for Megatron’s well being. It worried him the state he appeared to be in. This gladiator had more than earned their respect and reverence. It did not matter if he was leading a cause or ending one in his mind.

“ Good day!” He says his tone calm and non confrontational. He considers the demands made of him before patting around his frame with his servos as if looking for something. “Shoot, I hate to admit this but I’ve seemed to have misplaced my badge? “ he chuckles innocently with a shrug. (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

“ As far as my arms-“ he looks at his servos “ I am afraid these bad boys are attached to me?” (·•᷄‎ࡇ•᷅ ) He holds them up and waves them. “But if you’re cool with waiting around for a tick-I’m sure Vos could locate a saw or drill to get them removed?” Tarn seems unconcerned at the notion of loosing limbs. Happy to do so for the stranger.

Tarn is not surprised at the irritation that pricks within the tones of his leaders voice. He nods in acknowledgment, not speaking another word. He knows his voice can have a rather stressful effect on another’s spark after all.
