I would not be a good teacher in the public school system haha. I always think that the kids are so smart, capable, and receptive. I often find their parents so annoying and in the way. I know this is a mean and disrespectful viewpoint to have. I don’t even have kids, so what do I know about being a parent. I’m great at teaching, making sure the other person is understanding it. That is one of my natural talents in life. I’m great at teaching. If I had to deal with parents though, I would probably be way too bitchy and condescending to be successful lol. I heard something recently and it stuck with me: Never make fun of, or judge someone for their mannerisms. You don’t know why they became that way. Because of how they were raised, or who cared for them. You don’t know how they had to get by, or fit in, or protect themselves. You don’t know what kind of caregivers they had. It might appear odd to you the way that they act, but don’t make fun of them. You don’t know what they have experienced, or who they were raised by. Don’t make fun or judge. You don’t know. - On the flip side, if you can tell that someone is judging you, fuck ‘em.
