A nice cold evening in Paris. ❤️ Well, when I looked at my suitcase the night before my Paris city tour, I knew what I wanted from there! Usually it takes me about two hours of me sitting in front of my suitcase, talking to my clothes (at that point my mother thinks I'm crazy) and then finally deciding on an outfit. But, this time was different. From the start of my vacation, I had this beautiful piece kept aside for this day! Well, I paired up my amazing Vero Moda top with Zara Basic jeans and a Victoria's Secret scarf. I accessorised it with a necklace I picked up from the beautiful city itself! My boots were by Bata! And with the perfect outfit on, like I said, it was a nice cold evening in Paris! ❤️ What do you think about the outfit I've worn? xoxo, Mubashira.

So, I'm back! Yes, I'm still on a vacation but this totally cannot wait! I fell in love! Yes, I did! No, it's not a human, it's something even better! I fell in love with my new boots! Well, the weather in Mumbai is so not nice enough to let me wear my boots there but here in Luzern, they're perfect! So my post today is about how you can buy the perfect boots for your vacation in snow and you don't have to spend too much! I wanted a pair of boots because I knew I will be spending a lot of time in snow and places that are cold. I went to the Phoenix mall at Lower Parel in Mumbai and I looked into all the possible brands starting from Charles and Keith and going all the way to Aldo and ending on Steve Madden. I didn't like anything that I can buy, wear in Swiss and just keep in my cupboard for the rest of the year and not feel like I've spent a lot on it. I was just about to give up on my boots hunt and my mom dragged me to Bata. At first, I was like OMG no! I used to get my school shoes from Bata! I CAN'T POSSIBLY FIND GOOD HOT BOOTS IN BATA! But I was so wrong! I saw this amazing pair which was of just 2500 INR and I tried them on and it was love at first sight! So, moral of the story Angels.. Never underestimate the power of a common Indian brand. They may surprise you! xoxo, Mubashira.

First off, I love all three Naked palettes. This palette is the most neutral one out of the three. The color payoff is awesome and it has a range of light to dark colors, which is great for both everyday looks and glam looks. It includes both matte and shimmer shades and I love a little spark of glitter in everything! Naked works all the time, it's a day to night to day palette. It's easily wearable with any occasion, and it's surprisingly glamorous if you want it to be! But it's also as everyday as you want. Now it's my go-to for many daily uses, it's my fallback palette when I don't want to be creative. It's something I know I will always get right! Some of my favourite looks can be achieved with Naked alone. Quality: It's really good!!! Buttery, a lot of glitter fallout though. I often don't even need a primer before I apply my eye shadows. The Naked brush: It's AMAZING! I'm totally in love with it! I create 60% of my eye looks with this brush. Compared to Naked 2: Naked 2 is more white/silver/grey. It gives a cooler impression, and I find it to be much more casual because the cool colours make me look minimalistic. It does! Especially the whites and the grey-based colours, AND they are not pigmented. I can never be "Glam" with Naked 2. The case is much sturdier than Naked, so it sometimes is my weekend travel palette. Compared to Naked 3: Naked 3 is pink/rose and is totally not made for my skin! I find it to be girly pretty and casual, less glam than Naked. I am not too much into pink shades so I keep away with it. Naked's daytime looks are fierce and independent, Naked 3's daytime looks are girly and pretty. Both are beautiful but girly looks are just not for me. So in all honesty, I would recommend Naked for the makeup lovers. It's a lot of fun with Naked palette (and 2 and 3, for that matter). But if you just want ONE basic daytime look, go for Naked Basic Or even just two full-sized eyeshadows (a light brown and a dark brown), and you're good forever. xoxo, Mubashira.

So, I attended this wedding (yes, I kinda attend a lot of weddings) and there my mom's cousin showed me her Urban Decay Diamond Dog eyeshadow. I asked her to order it for me and she placed the order at www.beautybay.com and it got delivered to me in about two weeks.
It was hard to describe the color. It is not brown, it is not grey, it is sparkly, but not obnoxious sparkly, and I do not like obnoxious sparkly. I tried it on different skin tones and it looked different every single time! A unique shade. The photo here does not do justice to the color of the eyeshadow.

I kept this eyeshadow aside for events like weddings and dinner parties where I can get a smokey look and dab a bit of this product to get some sparkle. So, to me it is not crazy-sparkly. But of course you can build it up, getting more sparkle.

I have chocolate color eyes and I really think this eyeshadow makes my eyes look exceptionally gorgeous when added to the smokey look! I am NC20 but I think just about any skin tone could wear this shade, and/or layer it with other shades. Gorgeous color. Many glittery/sparkly shadows flake and have tons of fallout for me, but I have none of those issues with this one. It's probably the best one from the Urban Decay Stardust Eyeshadow collection! The texture is amazing and if I apply it without my usual smokey eyes, the eyeshadow settles well even without a primer! So, am i going to buy another one? Hell yes! It is worth spending 20USD on? Totally! It's highly recommended to all the lovely people who like a bit of glitter touch in their usual eyeshadows! xoxo, Mubashira.

So here's how it all started: Long ago, in a far away land, in a village high on a mountain top.. Wait, I should really stick to my review I'm writing and not jump off track to writing princess stories. SO... Here it is! I attended a wedding recently and my cousin there was like 'Hey, there's this thing I tried and it's awesome for my lips! Why don't you get one for yourself?' So, when I came back to town after the whole wedding was over (God, it was tiring.) I ordered The Fulllips Lip Enhancer for myself and it was delivered to me in short time! (Awesome) I had NO clue what it was or what is was about to do for my lips, but I had to find out. So, I took it for a test drive. The instructions were as follows: Step 1: Lightly exfoliate your lips and the surrounding area first, using a soft washcloth or soft toothbrush to help achieve fuller results. Next, wet the area around your mouth with water. (This moisture is not necessary, but may help establish tighter suction which they say is the key to a good result.) Step 2: Position the Fullips enhancer over your mouth and lip area, hold it in place while applying some pressure, and suck in short puffs of air until a solid suction is established. You should feel a gentle pulling — this is normal/what is supposed to be happening. Step 3: Suction your lips in 15 to 30 second increments. Then use your finger to help break suction. Step 4: Repeat step 3 until desired fullness is reached, and then apply your lip cosmetics as usual. After completing all of the steps successfully, I looked in the mirror and I have to say that this little thing I used actually did make my lips look a bit larger. I applied my MAC Cremesheen lipstick on my beautiful almost Kylie Jenner kind of lips and I was done! Up the hill part: My lips looked goooood! And people did notice! I even got asked by my aunt if I did that lip injections thingy and I was like hell no! I looked good and I felt good! Down the hill part: The way it works is that its because the act of suctioning draws blood to your lips, enlarging them temporarily making them last for only about an hour or two. But the good news is, the enhancer is small enough to keep in your bag, so toss one in your purse in the morning and “re-suck” as needed throughout the day! Hope you lovelies love it as much as I did! xoxo, Mubashira.

Looking at this picture and being it a sunday,  I can write about like a lot of things! Starting from the song playing on my iTunes (yes, I still like listening to Valentine's Dance Tango by Twins which i heard for the first time in the movie Another Cinderella Story) or I can show off my little Nutella Jar or my Aldo neckpiece which I'm obsessed with (I basically carry it everywhere with me these days) or the weird but cute purple diary I got from Claire's like eight months ago which I recently realized is completely blank and I should put it into some use (probably..). But today, I want to write about something that stole a piece of my heart (yes, just a piece because I do fall in love with a lot of awesome things) and never gave it back! So it all started a few months ago.. I was a little mad at myself and I went to Colaba Causeway in Mumbai to do some shopping. While looking at the amazing neckpieces and earrings, my eyes landed on a bookstore and without thinking twice, I entered the place. I asked the old gentleman working there for some chick flick books and he handed me like eight of them. I decided to buy them all and I got them home. I started with The devil wears Prada and i kept it down since I've watched the movie already. The next was Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella. I turned the book and read the first two lines: 'If you suddenly had a friend that only you could see or hear, what would you do?' I'll be honest, it was 3am and I thought I bought some horror book by mistake and I immediately put it down and decided to watch something on tv. The next day I thought of giving it a try with a strict rule of no reading such stuffs at night. I started reading the book and I didn't even realize it was dinner time already! I was in love and I couldn't just stop reading the book! The story kicks off with Lara Lington, another fashion-conscious, twenty-something working girl in London. She has just been dumped by the "perfect man". And - bigger bonus - she is left in the lurch by her best friend/partner to run their new head-hunting business alone. While attending the funeral of her Great Aunt Sadie, Lara is shocked when Sadie materializes in front of her and demands Lara track down her beaded dragonfly necklace. Instead of materializing as her ancient, wrinkled self, Sadie is young and beautiful. Headstrong. Feisty. A party-hearty flapper girl. The banter and verbal sparring between Lara and Sadie tickled my funny bone to no end. Sadie is scornful of Lara's way of life and doesn't bother holding back her opinions in the romance department either. Sadie quickly learns she has the power to control people's minds by obnoxiously shouting in their ears over and over again until they do exactly as she says. This proves to be useful to Lara who also discovers that Sadie is capable of spying for her, playing matchmaker and closing business deals. These two end up working together very well and learn some surprising truths from each other along the way. Vintage costumes from the 20's are donned. Champagne is sipped. The Charleston is danced. Generations are compared. And the villains in this book receive their comeuppance in screwball comedy style. I was surprised to discover two very sweet romances take place in this book. Sadie's own romance is heart-breaking as her past is revealed and she proves to be a fragile, lovable creature after all. Lara's unexpected love match takes place as she works to solve a mystery involving her family. All I can say, it's a perfect book with a surprising and brilliant ending. I end up reading this book every two months or whenever I feel alone and I never get bored or tired of the story! Hope you lovelies like it as much as I do! xoxo, Mubashira.
