A playful drunken game of truth and dare goes bad for a handful of Slytherins and Gryffindors. 😲
Rumor has it, there's an interesting game about to get underway at The Three Broomsticks in the back room, and it's invitation only. I wonder whose names were left off the guest list. Any ideas?
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
Hermione lifted the glass to her lips, sipping the amber liquid. A grimace on her face as it burned its way down her throat. "I don't understand what appeal this stuff has for you all," she hissed, shaking her head. "It's disgusting."
"You get used to it," Daphne replied, shrugging her shoulders as she took a swig of her glass. "It may not be the tastiest, but it does the job."
"Should you be drinking?" Harry asked, furrowing his brow as he sat on the couch across from Daphne and Hermione. He glanced up at Theo from the corner of his eye, only to be met with a shrug and shake of his head. Harry redirected his attention back to Daphne with an apologetic look on his face. "I just mean, with everything that's gone on lately."
"I can do whatever the hell I want," Daphne hissed, downing the rest of her drink and pushing herself up from the couch. "Don't worry about me, Potter. I can worry about myself. Anyone else needs another drink?"
A chorus of "me" rang through the room. Daphne nodded her head slowly and made her way toward the door. 0 The door clicked shut behind her as her ears were flooded with the sounds of the packed bar in front of her. She shook her head as she made her way up to the bar. All she wanted to do was forget about the terrible things that had happened to her this year and focus on the good things. That was the goal for tonight.
"I need another round of drinks for the group in the back room," Daphne said, leaning against the bar. She flashed a smile at the bartender as he started pouring another round for her friends. Her heart ached as she thought about Harry's words; he was right because the rest of the group knew she shouldn't be drinking. Unfortunately, things happen, and no matter how badly Daphne wished she could go back in time and change the future, her body had a different plan.
"I thought you could use some help." Hermione's voice pulled Daphne away from the dark thoughts that were starting to flood her brain. She turned and offered a smile to the curly-haired witch standing beside her.
"Thanks," Daphne replied, leaning over to rest her head on Hermione's shoulder. "I hadn't really thought about how I was going to get the drinks back there. Is everyone here yet?"
"I think so," Hermione said, reaching for the tray of drinks the bartender had placed in front of them and pushing the other tray towards Daphne. "Blaise and Astoria showed up a few minutes after Ginny and Neville walked in. Are you sure you're up for this?"
Daphne rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Absolutely not, but we've got to get to the bottom of Gossip Witch somehow."
"What if she's not even here?" Hermione asked, raising a brow as the two witches made their way back to their reserved room.
"Then at least we'll know who's feeding her information based on what she reports," Daphne said, pushing the door open with her foot and catching it with her elbow as she made her way inside. "Everyone grab a drink and move the furniture into a circle near the fireplace."
"Once you've got your drink, find a seat in the circle," Hermione chimed in. "We're going to play a muggle game."
"What kind of muggle game?" Astoria asked, grabbing a drink off Hermione's tray and glancing at her sister.
"You'll find out shortly," Daphne replied, setting the tray down on the table and picking her own up before moving to the couch and taking a seat beside Theo. She smiled when she felt his arm wrap around her shoulder.
Astoria rolled her eyes and approached an empty seat across the circle from where Daphne sat down. Seeing Theo's arm wrapped around Daphne's shoulders made her sick to her stomach. She took a sip of her drink and hissed as the amber liquid burned its way down her throat.
About ten minutes later, everyone was finally settled into a seat with a drink in hand. Daphne and Hermione stood up and moved to the middle of the circle.
"Tonight, we are going to play a game of truth or dare," Hermione said, a smile pulling at the corners of her lips. "If you are in this room, you are playing."
"If you don't want to play the game, then you can't stay in here," Daphne chimed in, making eye contact with everyone seated around the circle. She paused for a moment on Astoria. "Anyone want to bail?"
Everyone shook their heads but lifted their drinks to their lips and took a long sip.
"Good," Daphne said, nodding her head once. "If you are caught in a lie or try to refuse a dare, you will be asked to leave the room."
"The game only works if everyone is willing to be honest," Hermione added, glancing at Harry out of the corner of her eye.
"I'll go first."
His voice caught everyone off guard as their heads turned quickly to look at Blaise standing up from his seat. A smirk was plastered on his face as he took another sip of his drink. "Truth or dare, Daphne."
Daphne looked him up and down, crossing her arms over her chest as she lowered back into her empty seat on the couch. She felt Theo's hand on her back and let out a sigh. "Truth."
"Who is the father of your baby?" Blaise asked, narrowing his gaze at her.
Astoria reached over and smacked him upside the head.
"What the fuck, Tori?" Blaise hissed, snapping his gaze to Astoria and rubbing the back of his head with his hand.
"She lost the fucking baby, you jackass," Theo growled, jumping up from his spot on the couch and moving to stand above Blaise. He reached out and grabbed the fellow Slytherin by the collar and hauled him out of the chair, and he pulled his arm back and punched Blaise in the nose.

Astoria, Draco, Blaise and Pansy forgot Theo’s birthday. He did not look unhappy as he clutched a beautifully wrapped box and a card signed by D Greengrass. Must have been some gift judging by his smile.
Friends don't let friends celebrate their birthdays alone. Thankfully for Theo, Daphne didn't forget - even when her entire world was falling apart.
Priorities.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
"You didn't have to get me anything," Theo said, sitting beside Daphne on the rock next to the Black Lake. "Just spending time with you would have been more than enough."
"I know I didn't," Daphne replied, crossing her legs out in front of her as she watched Theo investigate outside the present she had handed him. "You didn't need to take care of me through this whole ordeal. So technically, it's a thank you present instead of a birthday present."
Theo rolled his eyes, laughing as he pulled at the bow. "So a thank you gift that I just happen to be getting on my birthday?"
"Exactly," Daphne replied, laughing as she nodded her head. "It's nothing special, and I had to settle for something from Hogsmeade. Mum wouldn't let me leave the house while I was away."
Theo reached over and wrapped his arm around Daphne's shoulders, pulling her into his chest. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "I'm just glad you're okay. You scared the hell out of me."
"I'm sorry," Daphne said, hanging her head. "I promise I wasn't doing it on purpose. I just wish I knew what went wrong."
"The mediwitch didn't tell you?" Theo asked, furrowing his brow.
Daphne shook her head and took a deep breath. "No, they could tell me I had a miscarriage, but that was it. Apparently, it can happen to anyone, and I just got lucky, I guess."
"I'm the lucky one," Theo said. He reached out and cupped her cheek with his free hand, lifting her chin. He brushed his thumb against her cheek and leaned toward her. He pressed his lips to hers gently, tentatively at first. He smiled when he felt her relax against him, parting her lips and encouraging him to deepen the kiss.
They remained there for a few moments. Daphne was the first to pull away; a blush painted her cheeks as a smile pulled at her lips. She reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear with one hand and picked up Theo's present with the other. Pushing it into his lap, Daphne insisted that he finish opening it.
Theo pulled at the tie, allowing it to fall onto his lip as the paper started to fall open; inside was a notebook with his initials inscribed on the cover in silver with a beautiful quill that matched the binding. He paused, staring at the notebook for a few moments before lifting his eyes to meet hers. There was a sparkle in Daphne's eyes, and the smile on her face beamed brighter than Theo had seen in weeks.
"It's beautiful," Theo whispered, running his thumb along the leather, amazed at how soft it felt in his hands. "Thank you."
"Take a look inside," Daphne said, nodding her head toward the book. Her heartbeat was racing as she took a few deep breaths in an attempt to calm herself.
Theo raised an eyebrow at her as he lifted the book's front cover, catching sight of Daphne's penmanship, inking the first page appearing magically on the page.
I found you without looking and love you without trying.
-Mark Anthony
Thank you for being everything I never knew I needed.
-D
"I've got a matching one with my initials on the front if you want to add something," Daphne said, carding a hand through her hair nervously as she waited for a response. "You don't have-"
"Hand it over," Theo demanded, extending a hand to rest, palm up in her lap.
A smile pulled at her lips as she reached for her bag, extracting her notebook and giving it over to him. She watched as he looked up to the sky for a few moments before scribbling something inside. He closed the cover and handed it back to her.
"Go on," Theo said, nodding at it. "I know you're dying to know what I wrote."
Daphne carefully opened the cover and saw Theo's words starting to appear on the page.
You are my sun, my moon, and all of my stars.
-E.E. Cummings
Thank you for filling in the missing pieces of me.
-T
"It's perfect," Daphne said, leaning over to press a kiss on Theo's lips. As she pulled away, she looked around at the calm serenity of the lake. This was the perfect way to spend the evening - just the two of them, away from the chaos of the castle.
I wonder what Theo would have done for his birthday if Daphne wasn't back in the castle. It would appear that no one else wanted to celebrate - such a shame, but who am I to judge?

Snogsmeade alert: so many loved up couples spending time in hogsmead. Too many to count, I don’t even know where to begin or look. Waaay too much PDA!
Snogging Alert: If you’d like a place to cuddle up close with the witch or wizard of your choice, plan a visit to Hogsmeade. Any available corner booth or archway is the place to be. Just ask some of the Hogwarts elite - although you might want to ask them one-on-one since a few weren’t with their usual partner.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
Hermione rolled her eyes as she tucked the piece of parchment into her bag. It was a peaceful few months when Gossip Witch had decided to take a break from tormenting the likes of the Hogwarts elite. “Why couldn’t she have just stayed quiet for once?” Hermione mumbled.
“Because that would make life too easy,” Harry laughed, sneaking up beside her as she walked down the corridor towards her Muggle Studies class. “Are you planning to visit Hogsmeade with anyone special any time soon?”
She shot him a glance out of the corner of her eye. “Are you asking me to visit Hogsmeade with you?” Hermione asked, cocking a brow as she looked him up and down. “I don’t think Draco would appreciate me heading to Snogsmeade with you, and I finally convinced him that you didn’t crash into him at the game on purpose.”
“I’ll have you know that I’ve already made plans to visit the Three Broomsticks with a special witch this evening,” Harry replied, crossing his arms over his chest. “I was just wondering if you and the ferret would be interested in a double date.”
“And which witch is considered special this week?” Hermione asked, elbowing him in the side with a smirk pulling at the corners of her lips. “Is it someone I know?”
“Yes,” Harry replied, rounding the corner quickly to avoid any more of Hermione’s questions; however, he knew he wouldn’t be so lucky.
“Oh,” Hermione stuttered, taken aback by the bluntness of Harry’s response. Usually, he wasn’t so forthcoming with information about his personal life. She furrowed her brow as she struggled to keep up with him making their way to the Gryffindor common room.
Harry glanced back and offered a half-hearted smile with a shrug. “We haven’t been together long, but I like her a lot.”
“So you want to show her off in a dark booth hidden in the back of Three Broomsticks? You know that’s never going to end well, especially if Ron or anyone else is there,” Hermione laughed, turning her attention to the Fat Lady’s portrait and whispering the password. A few moments later, the paint swung open, and the pair could step inside.
“Do you really think Ron will be there tonight?” Harry asked, carding a hand through his hair nervously.
“Dunno, but there’s always a good possibility that he’ll be there,” Hermione replied with a shrug. “Three Broomsticks has the best drinks, and the food isn’t terrible, so you’re likely to see anyone there. Does it make a difference if Ron is there?”
Harry took a deep breath, wiping the anxious expression from his face. He still wasn’t sure how his best mate would take the news, but he also wasn’t quite ready to find out. “No, it doesn’t. I’m just not sure he will like what he sees.”
Hermione stopped dead in her tracks and turned around slowly. “Harry James Potter, you tell me right now who you are planning to take to Three Broomsticks tonight, or I swear to Merlin you will not like the consequences of your actions.”
Harry took a significant step back and held his arms up to cover his face. He turned his head to the side and took a deep breath. “Ginny.”

Overheard Millicent Bulstrode confessing to Pansy that she is hooking up with a Hufflepuff in secret because they are embarrassed to be seen in public with her. 😢
In the complicated world full of sadness and disappointment, some find comfort in an unlikely companion. But it would be best if you always were careful with whom you share your secrets. A little bird told me some shenanigans are happening in the shadows that are meant to be a secret.
I guess the cat's out of the bag.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
"A little bird, my arse," Millicent grumbled, shaking her head as she made her way down the corridor towards her next class. "I know exactly who went running their mouth."
As she rounded the corner, a hand wrapped around her arm and pulled her into the shadows. "What the hell?" she snapped, pulling her arm away.
Before she could say anything else, she felt arms wrapping securely around her waist and pulling her against someone in the shadows. The kiss caught her off guard at first, but within seconds Millicent melted into the kiss as she realized who had startled her.
"I've missed you," he whispered, resting his forehead against hers as he pulled away from the kiss.
"I've missed you too," Millicent replied, keeping her eyes closed for a few minutes. "You scared the hell out of me. Why couldn't you come up to me in the corridor and kiss me? Why did you have to pull me into the shadows?"
"You know why," he said, leaning back to look at her. He had a half-hearted smile on his face as he reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. "I want to keep you all to myself."
"I can still be all yours, and the rest of the castle can know we're together, Ernie," Millicent said, rolling her eyes as she pulled away from him. Before she could get very far, he dragged her back against him.
"And what are you going to do when Gossip Witch puts your love life on blast?" Ernie asked, raising a brow as he looked down at her. She wasn't traditionally beautiful, but he found her attractive nonetheless, and she was willing to put up with him, unlike the other witches around the castle.
"Ignore her?" Millicent said, shrugging her shoulders. "I don't know. I've never had to worry about having a love life to put on blast. I think it might be fun to be the center of attention for once in my life."
"Millie," Ernie said, shaking his head. "The last thing you want is to be the center of attention. Look at what it's done to Daphne, Theo, Draco, and Granger. They can't visit the loo without worrying that another rumor is going to jump out about them."
"But," Millie started to say, only to be silenced by Ernie's finger.
"And look at Blaise; he's been punching walls and getting piss-pour drunk off his ass every night," Ernie said, furrowing his brow. "Since Gossip Witch dropped the bomb about the baby and then Theo and Daphne's performance in the Great Hall. Do you really want that to become your life?"
"Are you ashamed of me?" Millie asked, taking a step back and pushing Ernie's hands away from her. "You keep coming up with excuses as to why I shouldn't shout our relationship from the Owlery because of the embarrassment that our classmates have dealt with."
"Because I don't want you to get hurt," Ernie insisted, taking a step toward her.
"No," Millie replied, shaking her head. "You are embarrassed by me."
Millie turned on her heel and stormed out of the shadows down the corridor towards her class, leaving Ernie in the dust behind her. She bit back the tears she could feel welling up in the corners of her eyes as she continued on. She could cry alone in her dorm room later; now she needed to get to Charms.

Does abortion exist in the wizarding world? That’s something Daphne’s pondering of late according Hermione.
We've all made mistakes at some point in our lives, especially when those mistakes start with the best of intentions. Sometimes we don't realize the outcomes these mistakes will have until they reveal themselves. It would appear that Daphne has started recognizing the consequences of her actions.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
"I don't regret anything," Daphne grumbled, resting her hand on her swollen stomach. Honestly, the more she studied her stomach, the more she realized that it just looked like she was bloated from time to time. It didn't truly look like she was pregnant; however, she was certainly reminded each morning as her sickness set in.
She leaned back against the headboard of her bed, closing her eyes for a few moments. Daphne was tired - more so than usual, but she just chalked that up to being pregnant. It was nothing out of the ordinary, at least not according to the books that Hermione kept shoving into her hands. Daphne laughed, shaking her head as she reminisced about her unusual friendship with the bookworm.
Never in a million years would she have thought that she'd be becoming best friends with a Gryffindor. While the house rivalries were certainly present in sports and academics, the personal friendships formed between the houses were growing stronger with each blast that Gossip Girl released about them.
Daphne and Hermione found themselves spending more and more time together. In fact, Daphne felt closer to Hermione than anyone else in the castle, other than Theo. Not that the two of them had spoken much since their kiss in the Great Hall. The kiss that Daphne couldn't shake from her head, but she couldn't think about that now.
This morning Daphne noticed a little spotting when she had used the loo after waking up, and as she continued through her morning, her cramping was more intense than normal. She knew she needed to go see Madam Pomfrey, but she was scared and didn't want to go alone.
Hermione was in class until noon, and Theo had Quidditch practice preparing for the big game against Gryffindor this week. No one else understood her situation, and no matter how hard she tried to convince herself that she was close to her other housemates, she didn't want to let them see any sign of weakness. If something was wrong with this baby, Daphne knew her life would never be the same, and the walls she had spent so much time building would crumble into nothing.
Daphne let out a heavy sigh as she sat up on the bed; stabbing pain in her pelvis caused her to double over as she let out a moan. "Fuck," she groaned, hearing the door to her dorm click shut.
"Daph," Astoria whispered, lowering herself to a knee beside her sister's bed. "Are you okay?"
Daphne shook her head.
"What's wrong?" Astoria asked, brushing the hair out of Daphne's face. She could see the pain painted across her sister's face, and the pit in the base of her stomach opened up. Immediately, her mind jumped to the worst possible scenario. "We need to go to the infirmary right now."
Daphne shook her head, taking a few deep breaths. "No, I'll be fine."
As she pulled away from Tori's reach, Daphne felt another stab of pain in her pelvis as she leaned forward, as another groan escaped her lips. "Damn it," Daphne hissed, gritting her teeth.
"We need to go see Madam Pomfrey," Astoria insisted, wrapping an arm around her sister. "You are definitely not okay."
Daphne rolled her eyes as she let out a sigh, nodding her head. "Fine, you can walk with me to the infirmary, but then you can leave," she said, glancing up at her sister out of the corner of her eye.
"What do you mean? I'm not just going to leave you there," Astoria said, looking her sister over as her heart broke from seeing Daphne in pain. "I'm your sister; I want to be there to help you."
"Tori," Daphne said, forcing herself to sit up and brush her sister's arm off of her. "As much as I appreciate the fact that you want to help me, you don't know the reality of the situation."
"I know that my sister is being a stubborn bitch who won't let me help her because she's afraid it will ruin her image because she has to let her guard down," Astoria yelled, taking a step away from the bed. "I am going to take you to Madam Pomfrey, and I'm not leaving your side until she tells us what the hell is going on with you and the baby. Whether you like it or not, we're family, and family sticks together - no matter how many times you screw me over to get what you want."
Daphne looked Tori up and down for a moment before pushing herself off the bed. "Fine," she sighed, "you can wait with me in the infirmary, but you are not to say a word about what you hear - regardless of what we find out. Do you understand?"
Astoria nodded her head quickly, wrapping an arm around Daphne's waist. "Put your arm around my shoulders, and I'll help you walk there."
"Thanks," Daphne murmured, draping her arm over Astoria's shoulder and allowing her to lead them out of the dorm towards the rest of the castle.
"That's what sisters are for," Astoria replied. "I'll always be here for you. No matter what."
A moment of silence for those who were lost too soon, please.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch ~

Malfoy, Granger, Greengrass (elder) and Nott have been inseparable since the hospital wing incident. Is double dating a thing now?
Spotted: An unlikely alliance between two of Hogwarts' romantic royalty since that night they spent together in the infirmary. Maybe it's not blood that makes a family, but rather the people who know you and love you anyway. That way, you can finally just be yourself.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
Hermione let out a sigh as she collapsed into the couch in the Slytherin common room. She closed her eyes for a few moments as she took a few deep breaths. Everything had been so chaotic since she had gotten out of the infirmary a few weeks ago. Madam Pomfrey had no answers for why she had fainted, and the muggle doctor she had been able to get in contact with had no logical explanations either.
All Hermione knew was that she and Draco had gotten into a spat about his parents' archaic views of blood status marriages, and then the room started to spin as she got light-headed. When she woke up, Madam Pomfrey was shining a light in her eyes, checking for a pupillary response. It wasn't her proudest moment, but at the same time, Hermione knew her body was doing exactly what it needed to do to stay safe - even if it meant a minor scare for everyone else in her life.
She heard the door to the common room creak open, so she tucked her legs against the arm of the couch so she couldn't be seen by whoever was entering the room, but she could hear them if they spoke.
"I'll never understand these stupid boys," Pansy groaned, huffing as she made her way across the room. "What's so great about your sister that she can get them all twisted up in knots and dotting on her every need? Hell, even Malfoy's been following her around like a lost puppy dog since Gossip Witch revealed her pregnancy."
"Though I don't want to speak ill of her because she's my sister, Daphne's got a way about her when it comes to getting what she wants," Astoria replied, shaking her head. "All she needs to do is bat her blue eyes and pout her lips, and they'll all come running, even if they are supposedly head over heels with someone else."
"Was that a jab at Theo?" Pansy asked, snickering.
"Malfoy," Astoria replied. "He might say he's in love with Granger, but they'll never end up together. He'll go through with the marriage contract that his mummy and daddy arrange for him."
"Which family do you think they are looking to make arrangements with?" Pansy asked, starting to climb the stairs to the dorm rooms.
"Mine," Astoria sighed, following behind her raven-haired friend. "And all I can hope is that my parents marry my sister off instead of me."
Hermione blinked her eyes a few times as she felt the tears starting to well up in the corners and took a deep breath. When she finally felt like she had her emotions in order, she pushed herself up off the couch and started to make her way to the door, stopping only when she heard her name.
"Hermione," Daphne's voice stilled Hermione in her tracks. Letting out a sigh and forcing a smile on her face, she turned around to greet her friend.
"Hey, Daphne," she said, "how are you?"
"I'm alright, tired," Daphne shrugged, looking her friend up and down. "Are you okay? You've been crying."
"I'm fine," Hermione replied, shaking her head. " I promise."
Daphne shook her head and reached for Hermione's hand, dragging her over to the couch. "Sit," she said, pointing to the empty spot beside her as she sat down.
Hermione shook her head, pulling her arm away from Daphne. She crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm fine. Just heard something that rubbed me the wrong way, and I needed to get some fresh air."
Daphne stared at her for a minute. "Like hell, you're fine. I walked past my sister and Pansy on the stairs coming down here. I know what you heard, and why didn't you say something to let them know you were here?"
"I'm not supposed to be in here," Hermione shrugged.
"I know you aren't, so I was getting to that," Daphne laughed. "How did you get in here?"
"I said I had prefect duties to attend to," Hermione sighed, collapsing down onto the couch beside Daphne and laying her head in Daphne's lap.
"So you lied," Daphne chuckled, brushing a strand of hair out of Hermione's face. "What were you realistically hoping to do in here?"
"Honestly, I just wanted some peace. The Patil twins and their cohort of colleagues have taken over the library, and the librarian won't let me reserve the restricted section for just me anymore. Apparently, someone has been using that section of the library for things other than research."
"I heard that rumor too. Although, the last I heard, someone said it was you and Draco hanging out in there after hours," Daphne teased.
Hermione rolled her eyes. "Draco's barely touched me in weeks. Ever since that damn dinner with his parents, he's been avoiding me. I was honestly surprised that he stayed in the infirmary with me as long as he did."
"He never left your side," Daphne reassured her. "Even when you were sleeping, he sat in that chair and watched you sleep. I've never seen anyone so devoted to another human like that."
"You know Theo did the same thing with you," Hermione replied, looking up at her friend. She shook her head when she noticed Daphne rolling her eyes. Lifting her head from Daphne's lap, Hermione positioned herself on the couch to look at her. "I'm serious."
"He's like my brother," Daphne replied, shaking her head.
"I don't think I've ever seen anyone kiss their brother the way that you kissed Theo in the Great Hall the other night," Hermione replied, raising her brow. "He loves you, Daphne."
Daphne shook her head. "We're not talking about my love life right now. Besides, all of that will go to hell in a few more weeks when I start showing," she said, placing her hand on her stomach.
"You aren't going through this alone," Hermione said, reaching over and covering Daphne's hand with her own. "You've got me and Theo, plus Draco too. According to your sister, he might be your future husband based on the contracts the Sacred 28 are creating."
Daphne rolled her eyes. "Tori just likes to hear herself talk. Don't let her running her mouth influence the way you feel about Draco and your relationship. Everything will work out exactly the way it's supposed to be."
Spotted: An unlikely alliance forming on the couch in the Slytherin common room. Remember witches; the walls have ears.

It’s cute Flint giving the Slytherin trio romantic advice but is he the best judge on matters of the heart when he and Wood are in complete disarray?
Gossip Witch here. Your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Hogwarts' elite. Spotted: Coach Flint shares his sage relationship advice with a trio of friends - whose friendship is fading fast. I'd take that advice with a grain of salt if I were you, boys. Merlin knows just how lonely Flint's bed has been lately.
You know you love me.

"Why does that bloody witch care so damn much about whether or not I sleep alone?" Marcus grumbled, shaking his head as he dropped down into the chair at his desk in the locker room. He was getting sick of the arguing amongst teammates taking over his practices, so he tried to put his foot down. Obviously, someone didn't appreciate it and went running to the queen of the gossip world.
Marcus rolled his eyes and picked up the flight pattern charts he had designed before practice. If they were going to take home the Quidditch cup, they needed to develop a way to beat Gryffindor in next week's game. To beat Gryffindor required them to think outside the box, which was hard enough to do when everyone was getting along, and it was next to impossible to do when there was unresolved tension on the team between the players.
"I've got to get these idiots to get their heads out of their arses," Marcus sighed, scrubbing a hand over his face.
"That's not a good way to talk about your players," Oliver teased, leaning up against the door frame. "Let them without practicing anything new - then when you make the call in a match for the new play, they'll make fools of themselves. The stupidity won't show up in your locker room again after that."
"Should you really be giving me advice right now?" Marcus asked, raising his brow as he met Oliver's eyes. "Our next match is against Gryffindor."
Oliver shrugged, pushing away from the door. "It's not like I was giving you direct advice on how to beat us, and just some words of wisdom for dealing with hormone-crazed players who are more worried about their silly little spats rather than keeping their head in the game."
"I don' think it's so much hormone-crazed as it is just crazed," Marcus replied, rolling his eyes. "Apparently, Nott kissed Zabini's girl in the middle of the Great Hall - all while she just found out that Zabini knocked her up supposedly. Malfoy's diary got left behind during the performance, and a few snippets got shared with the student body."
Oliver tossed his head back with a laugh. "Yeah, I read the excerpts from Malfoy's diary. That lad's got some bollocks on him for writing those thoughts down. The castle is a dangerous place to leave those kinds of thoughts lying around anywhere."
"All because of Gossip Witch," Marcus groaned, shaking his head. "I can't understand what joy she gets in poking jabs at me. I'm not a student here anymore."
"But you interact with the students daily," Oliver suggested, dropping down into the chair opposite of where Marcus was sitting. "And she knows it gets under your skin."
"It doesn't bother you?" Marcus asked, raising a brow.
Oliver shook his head. "Not enough that I'm going to let her ruin anything that could potentially be brewing between me and someone else. We should really find someplace to talk."
"Oh yeah?" Marcus asked, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lip. "And what might we need to talk about?"
"I can think of a few things, but this is the most of your time I've been given since that night in the bar before Malfoy and Potter got into their accident," Oliver replied, leaning forward to rest his elbows on Marcus' desk. "I don't know if I should push my luck by hoping for more of your time or if I should just leave while I'm ahead."
"And if I'm not ready for you to leave?" Marcus asked, leaning back in his chair as he rested his hands on his stomach. He looked Oliver up and down as wicked thoughts flooded into his mind. Regardless of what that witch felt she could share about his relationships, he was the only person to know what his heart was truly feeling. And at that moment, his heart only wanted one thing.

Dorm-mates say they saw Looney Lovegood snogging on Zabini by the Black Lake but I don't know... Seems a little far fetched. Gossip witch surely will know!
Desperate to forget what Draco decided to share with the world in his diary, Zabini found himself in a bit of a loony-loving situation. I wonder how Longbottom will take the news, and the poor guy always seems to get the short end of the stick.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
"Zabini!" Neville yelled, storming up to the Slytherin table in the Great Hall. His entire body was shaking as he approached the group of students, whom he would go out of his way to avoid on any other day, but today, he had a bone to pick with one particular individual sitting at that table. The closer he got, the faster his heart began to beat. Taking a deep breath, Neville pushed all of his fear to the back of his mind and crossed his arms over his chest as he squared up to Blaise.
"What do you want, Longbottom?" Blaise hissed, looking the Gryffindor up and down. He fought the urge he felt to roll his eyes at the man standing in front of him. If anything, Blaise deserved to get put in his place by Neville. He had gone behind the man's back and snuck away to the Black Lake with his witch just for the hell of it. There wasn't any rhyme or reason to which witch he brought with him down there, and he just wanted to feel something other than anger.
"Of all the girls at Hogwarts, why did you have to go after Luna?" Neville asked, steadying himself with a deep breath as he waited for Blaise to respond.
There were a few ways that this situation could play out at this point. Blaise could swing at him for confronting him in the middle of the Great Hall - the fact that Neville was becoming increasingly aware of as he felt the eyes of his classmates staring at him. Blaise could apologize, and they could both walk away from the situation, never to speak of it again. Or they could both swing at one another and end up in the infirmary for at least the rest of the night. The middle option of the three was preferred, but ultimately, this confrontation would be inevitable. At least once he had faced his fears by talking to Blaise, maybe he'd have enough adrenaline to face his fears about talking to Luna about everything.
"Nothing happened between Luna and me," Blaise replied, crossing his arms over his chest as he narrowed his gaze at Neville. There was no reason for him to believe what Blaise was saying, but there also wasn't any evidence to the contrary besides Gossip Witch's latest blast.
"Why would I believe what you have to say about the situation?" Neville asked, shifting his weight from one foot to another as he took a few deep breaths.
"Have you talked to Luna about it?" Blaise asked, rolling his eyes as he watched Neville's nerves starting to show. A smirk pulled at the corner of his lips when he noticed the small shake of Neville's head. "Maybe you should go talk to her before you fool yourself talking to me."
Neville glared at him for a moment before shaking his head. "At least my best mate didn't out me for being bad in bd in front of the whole school. Stay away from Luna, Zabini. She deserves someone better than you."
Neville turned on his heel and started to walk away when he heard Blaise calling after him, pausing only for a moment to hear what he had to say before reacting.
"I never turn away a witch in need of comfort when her wizard can't give her what she needs," Blaise replied, a smirk pulling tight at the corners of his mouth with his arms crossed over his chest as he watched Neville turn back to face him. "She came to me, and I offered her exactly what she needed."
"You said nothing happened," Neville hissed, gritting his teeth as he closed the space between himself and Blaise. Before he even realized what he was doing, Neville felt the crack of a bone beneath his knuckles as his fist made contact with Blaise's face.
"Mr. Longbottom," Headmistress McGonagall yelled, approaching quickly from the other side of the room. "My office. Now. Someone go fetch Madam Pomfrey to take care of Mr. Zabini's nose."

Found in the great hall: the super confidential and candid journal belonging to Draco Malfoy. It’s highly descriptive of his quirks, what he really thinks of his fellow Slytherin friends and his feelings for a particular curly haired Gryffindor. And a bizarre rant on bubble baths. 😜
In the events of last night's lip-locking adventures, someone left behind a piece of relatively private property. I thought about giving them a chance to come to take it back without payment, but I can't pass up a good read. I'll let you all figure out who it belongs to.
Happy reading.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
19 September
Today's her birthday. I am so excited to give her the present I've kept hidden in plain sight for the last three weeks. Even if she's been hanging out with Potter more and more, that doesn't mean her feelings for me are wavering at all. He's in love with Parkinson, or at least in lust with her anyways. Not that I can see why.
Sure, she's attractive, but she's spiteful as all hell. Judgemental too. I've heard her talk about Potter in the common room, and I pity him. She might put on a front when they are together, but that's all it is. She doesn't really care about him. She's too busy trying to track down one of the twins. I can never tell which one is which. I wonder if they've ever switched places on Pansy. I would pay good money to see that. I might have to suggest to one of them the next time I see them in the common room.
Hermione should be here any minute to leave for our date. A romantic dinner at the Three Broomsticks and then a bubble bath by candlelight in the prefect washroom with a bottle of Ogden's finest.
Bubble baths and my beautiful witch, two of my favorite things in one place. I can't wait.
30 September
Potter is a fucking twat. It's all his fault that I've been laid up in the Infirmary for the last three nights instead of sleeping in my own bed or Hermione's. That damn snitch was not worth the three broken ribs and fractured wrist that he caused me.
It wasn't even like the win guaranteed the house cup. It was just a fucking scrimmage match to see who would have the bye week while the other team had back-to-back games. The only reason I even wanted to get the damn thing was for the bye week.
At least Hermione has been coming by to keep me company most afternoons. Although, I'm pretty sure she's been spending time at Potter's bedside too when I'm asleep. I don't know why it bothers me so much. It's not like she's curling up in his bed at the end of the night, sleeping in one of his Quidditch jerseys. She loves me, and I love her. That's all the matters anyways.
At least I don't have to listen to the bickering couple on the other side of the door in my dorm.
10 October
I swear to Merlin, if Blaise and Theo can't work past their fucking differences, I'm going to hex both of them into the next lifetime. I can barely hear myself think when the two of them get started arguing. You'd swear they were having sex with each other rather than the same witch, even if they don't know it yet.
Although, they might have figured that out, and that's what's got them fighting like cats and dogs at the moment. Daphne's never been all that good at keeping secrets. Amazingly, she's been able to play everyone as long for the duration of her and Blaise's relationship. Although, after getting dumped by Little Weasley had to be as bad as hitting rock bottom for the poor man. Maybe he'll realize he's been chasing the wrong group of witches since they are all out of his league.
Millie would be the perfect match for Blaise. Low enough self-esteem to make him feel better about being such a sad sap for chasing after witches who want more than what he's able to give. Plus, I'm sure she'd be more receptive to whatever it is he has to offer in the sack. From what I've heard Tori grumbling on about unless Daphne spends the night with Theo, she's gotta go back to her room and finish herself off.
He'll get better someday, or he'll start sleeping with someone who doesn't know the difference.
Any guesses as to who you think this diary page belongs to? I'll give you a hint, he's madly in love with Hermione Granger and plays seeker for the Slytherin Quidditch team.
That's right, Draco Malfoy, I'm calling you out. You can claim your diary in the owlery when the clock strikes midnight if you can survive the night.

You called it Gossip Witch - they finally kissed! And in front of everyone! 💅🏻
It turns out photographs of secret tattoos aren't the only things I'm collecting this evening. A priceless secret is on the auction block. I'll start the bidding at one angry baby daddy and a furious sister.
Does anyone care to raise?
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
Theo offered Daphne a hand as they stood outside the doors of the Great Hall, pairing it with a gentle smile. "Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked, squeezing her hand gently.
Daphne shook her head, worrying her lower lip as she stared at the large doors standing between her and the rest of the students of Hogwarts. It was one thing to have a pregnancy announced by Gossip Witch, but having the baby's father questioned by that same obnoxious witch is a whole different experience. Daphne took a deep breath and turned to face Theo. "I'm not sure that this is what I want, but if you are going to do it with me, then I guess I'm ready for anything," she whispered.
Theo sighed, pulling on Daphne's arm to bring her into his chest. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders, holding her head to his chest. He pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head as he felt her body relax against his. "We can still make a run for it. I'm sure there's a place in Hogsmeade we can stay for the night," Theo laughed.
Daphne tilted her head back to look up at him and roll her eyes. "You aren't helping the situation."
"I thought I was being very helpful," Theo teased, leaning down to press a kiss to the tip of her nose.
Daphne pulled away and furrowed her brow. "You need to be careful doing that," she huffed, pouting her lower lip.
"I need to be careful kissing you?" Theo asked, a puzzled look on his face as he started to lower his lips to hers once again, only to have her pull away. "What are you doing?"
"We've spent the better part of the last year hiding the fact that we aren't into each other," Daphne sighed, pulling away from him to brush her hands over her skirt. "And now we're about to walk into the Great Hall and make out in front of the entire student body just to get Gossip Witch to leave us both the hell alone. How do you think it is going to come across to Blaise and Astoria?"
"Tori will be fine," Theo replied, carding a hand through his hair as he looked Daphne up and down. He could tell she was anxious, and he couldn't blame her. He felt as though his heart was going to pound right out of his chest. The one thing he knew for certain was that as soon as they stepped into the Great Hall and Theo placed a kiss on Daphne's lips; he was going to get the hell knocked out of him by a very angry Blaise. After their confrontation in Theo's dorm the other night, he knew it was inevitable. "Blaise will get over it."
Daphne raised a brow at him. "Before or after he knocks the fuck out of you?"
Theo offered an innocent smile. "Whatever works," he shrugged. "Are you ready?"
Daphne looked at him with a half-hearted smile and nodded her head. "As ready as I'll ever be. What about you?"
"Ready to be the center of Gossip Witch's radar? I'm pretty sure that's a daily occurrence anymore," Theo laughed, offering her his hand once more.
They both took a deep breath before Theo reached for the door to pull it open. Just as his hand wrapped around the handle, the door pushed toward him, revealing Blaise making his way out of the Great Hall. He stopped, glancing down at their intertwined hands, and shook his head, tossing his head back with a laugh.
"As if today couldn't get any fucking worse," he grumbled, glaring at both of them as he crossed his arms over his chest. "What the fuck is this?"
Daphne's eyes went wide as she stared at the angry expression on Blaise's face. She froze, unsure of what to do because any small movement at this point could send this situation a million and one different directions.
Theo's eyes flitted between Daphne's terrified face and the enraged expression Blaise was donning. Something needed to happen fast to break the tension. It wasn't as though things could possibly get any worse or that the timing wasn't less than ideal. Throwing all regard to the side, Theo pulled Daphne into his arms and wrapped one arm around her waist as his other hand cupped her cheek, pulling her face to his. In the blink of an eye, his lips were on hers, kissing her softly in front of the entire school.
It took Daphne a moment to realize what was happening before she melted into the kiss, draping her arms around Theo's neck. She used the leverage to pull herself closer to him, deepening the kiss as she did so.
A chorus of oohs and aahs sounded around them. In the distance, they could hear the murmurs of other comments being made, but at that moment, the only thing either of them could focus on was that kiss.
"Get out of my way," Blaise huffed, pushing through the middle of them, forcing Daphne and Theo to step apart. Neither one of them was sure of what to say; they could only stare at one another.
After a few moments of silence, the Great Hall began to be filled with the noise of hushed conversations and stolen glances at the two Slytherins standing in the doorway. No one was moving, only talking except for Daphne and Theo. The two of them stood in silence, staring at one another. That kiss unlocked something that neither of them had been prepared to admit, and they knew that Gossip Witch was going to have a field.
Baby, you're a firework and don't be afraid to let those colors show. Did anyone else start feeling all kinds of tingling when those two's lips finally touched?
I know I'm excited for what the future holds.
You know you love me.

I heard from someone who heard it from Parvati who has it on good authority that Potter has a dragon tattoed on his back. But Ginny Weasley boasts it's not a dragon, and it's not on his back, and now I want to know what and where it is???
Nothing stays hidden for long. Potter should know that better than anyone, especially after all of the secrets that have slipped out about him over the last few months. Although, this little tidbit of information could use some photo proof.
The first one to send me a picture of the dragon scaling the length of Potter's body wins a special treat from me.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
"I don't have a bloody dragon tattoo," Harry hissed, collapsing against the couch as the piece of parchment floated to the ground beside him. "Where the hell does she even get half of the shit that she send outs?"
Ginny snickered from her seat at the table on the opposite end of the common room. She knew Harry didn't mean to ask the answerless question out loud, but there was a part of her that wanted to give him an answer. She had heard a few witches gathered around whispering about the unseen tattoos of Hogwarts and decided it would be fun to chime in with one of her own.
"Have you ever thought of getting a tattoo?" Ginny asked, closing her textbook and pushing away from the table. She slowly walked over to the couch where Harry was lying and laughed when she saw him lying on the sofa with his arm over his face.
"Gin, why are you talking to me?" Harry groaned, refusing to look at her. He knew it was her by the voice but also by the smell of her perfume. It was a sickeningly sweet smell that made him want to bury himself in her, but that was something that could never happen. Harry wasn't the typical caliber of wizard that Ginny was often found spending time within dark corridors where she has no business hanging out. Plus, the last person he wanted to piss off right now was Ron - who was quite clear, Ginny was off-limits.
"Because you are talking out loud, and someone needs to answer you so that you don't sound like a crazy person," Ginny laughed, rounding the couch. She lifted Harry's feet and moved them long enough to take a seat beside him before dropping his feet into her lap. "Besides, it sounds like you need a friend right now."
Harry let out a sigh and pulled his feet away from Ginny's lap. He situated himself on the couch so he could sit beside her without physically touching her. The distance between them was far too small for him to be comfortable. He had seen the blasts that Gossip Witch shared about Ginny and who she was currently sleeping with. Whether it was Blaise, Theo, or Micheal, or whichever poor witch or wizard stood in her path, the more he thought about it, the more quickly he realized that Ginny had also been accused of fooling around with a former fling of his. This was a tangled web that he was stepping into, but there was something very tempting about the fiery red-headed witch sitting next to him.
"What do you want, Gin?" Harry asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Just want to talk," Ginny said, leaning over to rest her arm on the back of the couch. If she stretched her hand out at all, she could touch him, but she knew it was best if she didn't. "I've always wanted to get a tattoo - actually, if I'm being honest, I want to get a magical tattoo. I want it to have movement more than just me moving the part of my body that it's on."
"Where do you want to get it done?" Harry asked, settling back against the armrest of the couch. He looked her up and down, keeping a careful eye on her hand.
Ginny tilted her head to the side, exposing her neck as the strands of hair fell across her face. She brushed her fingertips against her neck, trailing them down the center of her chest. "I don't know," she mused, brushing the exposed skin between her breasts. "Maybe here."
Harry leaned his head back to avert his gaze. "Ginny, what are you doing?" He scrubbed a hand over his face, hoping that the distraction would be enough to stop her from what she was going.
"Nothing," she sighed, dropping her hand from her chest as she shrugged her shoulders. "I thought I noticed some mutual interest and sparks that were starting to fly between us. Apparently, I was wrong."
Harry took a deep breath as he lowered his head to meet Ginny's gaze. He could see a spark there that he had been avidly avoiding for the last few weeks. It was hard enough to keep track of the witches and wizards he was being accused of spending time with. There were only a few people who he wanted to keep the attention of, but for now, Harry supposed he would settle for the attention he was getting.
"You aren't wrong, Ginny," Harry said, reaching out to take her hand. "I do have feelings for you, but I can't do anything about them."
"Why not?" Ginny asked, furrowing her brow as she glanced down at the way Harry was holding her hand. His touch was gentle, an unusual sensation that she welcomed for a change. He wasn't like the others. Harry was different, and that was what she found so attractive.
"You know why," Harry replied, pulling his hand away and carding it through his hair. Just because he found her attractive didn't mean he could do anything about those feelings. Even if he did have Ron's, Fred's, George's, or Percy's approval, Harry knew that there would always be a target on his back. If he ever hurt her, the Weasley clan would be out to get him, no matter how much their mother loved him.
Ginny rolled her eyes. "My brothers have no control over who I decide to date or fool around with," she hissed, shaking her head. "If you really had feelings for me, then you wouldn't be afraid of what they had to say, and you'd come with me next weekend to get a tattoo."
"Ginny, because I have feelings for you, I'm not going to pursue you as anything more than a friend," Harry explained, resting a hand on her knee. "But if you want someone to hold your hand while you get your tattoo, I'd be happy to go with you."
"Will you get one?" Ginny asked, a smile pulling at the corner of her lips.
Harry shook his head. "Absolutely not. I wouldn't even know what to get if I did want one."
"A dragon," Ginny replied, winking at him. She motioned to his lower stomach. "I'm thinking somewhere that just the top of it could be seen if your shirt rose up. To find the rest, you'd have to do a little exploring."

Blaise took the rumors of Daphne’s pregnancy well. Not! He reacted as predicted. 😤😡🤯
There once was a Slytherin Princess, undone by one simple question: Who's the daddy? Is it Daddy Blaise or Daddy Theo? The whole castle is rumbling about the possibilities, even if Daphne denies that she and Theo are more than friends. But come on now, Daph. We all need to know.
I'm always watching.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
The door to Theo's dormitory flew open. Theo was sitting at his desk, attempting to study before he was so rudely interrupted. He knew who it was without lifting his eyes from his text. Blaise was looking for a fight, and Theo wasn't about to give him what he wanted. Taking a deep breath, Theo folded the corner of the page of his book and slowly closed the cover. He turned to glance up at Blaise, who looked like he was out for blood.
"Can I help you with something?" Theo asked calmly, crossing his arms over his chest. He remained seated as Blaise approached. It almost looked like steam was rising from his body as he approached.
"How far along is she?" Blaise replied, gritting his teeth as he towered over Theo in his chair.
Anyone else who would have looked upon the scene would think that Blaise was the intimidating one in the room. Still, the subtle differences in their behavior showed that Theo had the power in the situation. Blaise had already shown his true nature that night he left Daphne at the bar for Theo to pick up the pieces. The high ground was slowly slipping away from beneath Blaise's feet. Sure, Theo wasn't entirely innocent in the entire fucked up nature of their failed friendship, but he had done what was necessary to help a friend. Daphne didn't deserve the treatment she was getting.
"Not far," Theo sighed, shaking his head. "She told me about a week ago when I had to take her to see Madam Pomfrey."
"What happened?" Blaise asked, narrowing his eyes as he surveyed Theo's face. "Why did she need to see Pomfrey?"
"We were talking down at the Black Lake, and she started feeling light-headed," Theo began. He kept a close eye on Blaise's face as he filled him in on the events of the last few nights. Tonight was Daphne's first night back in the dorms; he was planning to check in on her later this evening before Blaise's visit. That might not be such a good idea now. "She passed out on me when I was helping her back to the castle. I thought she was just tired, so we were trying to get back here. When she collapsed, I knew I had to take her to the infirmary."
"Why didn't you tell me?" Blaise said, scrubbing a hand over his face. He glanced up at the ceiling and around the corners of the room. He refused to look Theo in the eyes because he knew it would shatter him to find the truth he had been avoiding lurking in the back of Theo's gaze.
"She didn't want you to know," Theo remarked, taking a moment to look him up and down. He could see that Blaise was struggling to keep a straight face. The news of Daphne's pregnancy had shaken him to his core - if Theo was being honest, the news had shaken him as well. Although, there was no reason for Theo to be concerned about her pregnancy - at least not that he needed to be concerned about at that moment.
"Is she still in the infirmary, or did she-" Blaise's voice trailed off as he glanced at Theo for a moment.
"She's staying in her dorm tonight," Theo said, furrowing his brow. "But I don't think it's in your best interest to go see her. She's not ready to talk to you yet."
"How the fuck do you know?" Blaise growled, fighting the sudden urge he felt to lunge at Theo. Who the fuck was he to tell Blaise how Daphne feels about him and who she wants to talk to. Daphne can tell him that she doesn't want to see him. As the thought crossed his mind, Blaise sighed with the realization that she had told him that already. The conversation at Three Broomsticks flickered through his mind. He thought that Rosemerta was going to throw them both out, but Daphne stormed out before she had the chance.
Theo pushed up from the chair, squaring up to Blaise as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Just because you might be the reason Daphne's in this situation doesn't mean she wants you to have anything to do with what is happening to her."
"And yet you get to be the one who's with her through it all?" Blaise scoffed, shaking his head as he turned on his heel and started to storm out of the room.
"Where are you going?" Theo asked, taking a few deep breathes before he started to follow after Blaise.
"To talk to Daphne," Blaise hissed, swinging his hand behind him and casting a charm. He smiled smugly when he heard the door to Theo's dorm slam behind him. "That should hold him for a few minutes."
Theo rolled his eyes at the door and reached for the doorknob. For some reason, the knob wouldn't budge. Theo furrowed his browed and cursed under his breath, slamming his fist against the wood. "Son of a bitch."
He stared at the closed door for a few minutes, exhaling slowly. There was nothing he could do right now to stop Blaise from storming into Daphne's room. All he could do was hope that she was still hanging out with Hermione and Draco in the prefect dorms where he had left her an hour or so before. At least that would buy him some time to warn her about Blaise's sudden interest in her well-being. The thought made him laugh; there was nothing good about Blaise's interest in Daphne. All he wanted was a chance to control the situation since she controlled every other aspect of their relationship, and he hadn't been able to keep her happy.
~xoxo~
Blaise's hand hit the door with a thud, and the door creaked under his strength. "Daphne, open up."
There was no response on the other side of the door, so he repeated the action again. This time the timber of his voice was deeper than before, and the fear behind the words slowly started to fade away. He waited a few moments before slamming his fist back against the door.
"I know you're in there," he hissed, leaning his forehead against the door. "I just want to talk to you, Daph. Please open the damn door."
After a few painful moments of silence, Blaise turned and started to walk away from the door. He paused when he heard the creak of the door opening slowly. He turned around with a hopeful look on his face. "Daph-"
Astoria's tear-stained face greeted him on the other side of the door. "What do you want, Zabini?" she asked, taking a shallow breath as she patted a handkerchief to her eyes, wiping away the tears that had rolled down her cheeks. "Daphne's not here."
Blaise exhaled sharply and hung his head. "Do you know where she is?"
Astoria shook her head. "Nope, and to be quite honest, I could care less where she is right now. I'm just sick of all the lying that seems to be going on lately. Why are you looking for her?"
"I want to talk about the latest Gossip Witch blast," Blaise admitted, taking a seat on the bench against the wall near the door. He watched as Astoria carefully approached him and sat next to him. She was wrapped in a blanket with a collection of tissues packed into her hand.
"Did you know about the baby?" Astoria whispered, turning to look at him. She studied his face as she waited for an answer. Honestly, of all the wizards her sister had managed to bring back to her bed, Blaise was the easiest one to read. Everyone else was better to hide their emotions from her, and Daphne was the best at doing so.
Blaise shook his head. "I found out the same way everyone else did. And I'm not even sure that it's mine."
Astoria furrowed her brow. "Whose's do you think it is?"
Blaise turned to face her with a raised brow. "Do you really need to ask? I figured you, of all people, would already know."
Spotted: A and B seen getting closer as the realization that both of their relationships were just a shame washes over each of their faces. Tomorrow's a new day, and I can't wait to see what new relationships are waiting on the horizon.
You know you love me.

Nott is a total sweetheart-my suspicions were confirmed when I saw him help Daphne to the hospital wing. OMG she could barely walk. Not sure why Draco and Hermione were also in the hospital wing???
Celestina Warbeck sings, "You cast your spell, and suddenly I can't forget about you." But the feeling around the castle is that a few witches and wizards are getting sick of seeing each other everywhere they go. Word around the castle is that Nott and Greengrass keep running into Malfoy and Granger.
Their last run-in was in the infirmary, and Greengrass looked rather green.
I certainly hope she's not caught anything…
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
Madam Pomfrey rushed to the door when she saw Theo struggling to walk Daphne into the room. She wrapped an arm around Daphne's waist and tucked her shoulder under Daphne's arm, helping Theo lead her to the bed. Once they got her comfortable, Madam Pomfrey took a moment to look her over and let out a sigh as she shook her head. She had seen this exact situation too many times in her career as a nurse, and the outcome was almost always the same each time.
"How far along is she?" Pomfrey asked, checking Daphne's pulse. She refused to look up at him as she continued her evaluation of the situation. Her pulse was weak, and she was breathing heavily, struggling to keep her eyes open. Every time Pomfrey tried to shine the light in her eyes to get a better look, Daphne would turn her head away with a groan.
"She only told me a few nights ago," Theo said, attempting to turn Daphne's head back toward Madam Pomfrey. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Draco cradling Hermione's head on the far side of the room. He motioned toward them with his head. "What's going on with them?"
Pomfrey turned her head for a moment and rolled her eyes. "Felix Felicis overdose. What happened to simple Firewhisky being used for liquid courage? Potions are never the way to go, and of course, Professor Snape can't be arsed to come up here with the antidote, so the poor thing will just have to ride the symptoms out. How far along would you guess she is?"
"She and Blaise have been broken up for about a month, so six weeks, maybe," Theo said, shrugging his shoulder.
"You mean you aren't?" Madam Pomfrey replied, stifling back a laugh. She looked up at Theo with a half-hearted smile on her face. "I'm sorry. I just thought that after everything going on around the castle that it was yours."
Theo rolled his eyes. "So you've been reading Gossip Witch, too?"
"Of course, dear. Everyone in the castle does," she replied, brushing Daphne's hair out of her face and offering her a smile as Daphne's eyes fluttered open. "Hello, Ms. Greengrass. How are you feeling?"
"Light-headed," Daphne groaned, propping herself on her elbow. "Where am I?"
"The Infirmary," Pomfrey replied, squeezing her hand softly. "I'm glad to see you awake. I have a few questions to ask you, but I also want to keep you here for a few hours to keep an eye on you."
"Okay," Daphne replied, nodding her head slowly. She glanced at Theo out of the corner of her eye and smiled. "I'm sorry if I scared you."
Theo smiled and cupped her cheek with his hand, brushing his thumb along the top of her cheek. "I just want you to be okay."
"I'll leave you two alone while Daphne rests," Pomfrey said, taking a few steps back. She glanced over her shoulder at Draco briefly before turning her attention back to Theo and Daphne. "He could probably use some company. Would it be okay if I move Ms. Granger's bed a little closer?"
"Absolutely," Daphne said, smiling softly. "No one deserves to be in here alone."
A few moments later, Draco and Hermione had been moved to the bed next to where Daphne was lying. Theo took a few moments to analyze the situation before saying anything. He was aware that Draco and Hermione were having issues, but he couldn't figure out how Felix Felicis came into the equation.
"I guess congratulations are in order," Draco teased, taking a seat in the empty chair between Hermione and Daphne's beds. He looked at Theo with a smirk on his face. "I knew you didn't always do things the honorable way, Nott, but knocking up another wizard's witch? Now that takes some bullocks."
"The last I checked, Malfoy," Theo hissed, gritting his teeth, "who I sleep with is none of your damn business. Besides, you don't have much room to talk."
Daphne rolled her eyes and smacked Theo's shoulder before turning her attention to Draco. "The baby isn't Theo's."
"Atta boy Zabini," Draco chuckled.
"I never said it was Blaise's either," Daphne sighed, closing her head as she pressed her head back into the pillow. "And no, I don't want to talk about it. I would like to know what's going on with happy-go-lucky over there."
Draco looked at Hermione and smiled, sighing as he turned his attention back to Theo and Daphne. "Pureblood parents want the bloodline to remain pure, and Hermione doesn't exactly fit into their ideals. Well, at least not Lucius's ideals. I'm not so sure what my mother believes. I'm sure you two understand that well."
"More than I'd care to admit," Daphne said, rolling her eyes as she let out a heavy sigh. "I've overheard my parents discussing my contract too many times. That's why I behave the way I do."
"Sleeping your way around the castle is how you go against your parents' pureblood beliefs?" Theo asked, chuckling as he dodged Daphne's arm as she reached out to smack him.
"I am not sleeping my way around the castle, and you know it," Daphne huffed, refusing to look at him. She knew he had the expression of a hurt puppy dog on his face which brought a smile to her own until she looked at Hermione sleeping peacefully in the bed beside her. "Why did she take the potion?"
Draco shrugged his shoulders as he shook his head. "I honestly don't know. She stormed into my dorm, demanding I take her to talk to my father, and then she passed out. My immediate response was to bring her here."
"Makes sense," Daphne said, nodding her head slowly as she yawned, stretching her arms over her head. "I think I'm going to get some sleep."
"We'll both still be here when you wake up," Theo said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"I hate you sometimes; you know that?" Daphne laughed, nuzzling her head into her pillow as her eyes fluttered shut. After a few moments, gentle snores could be heard from both of the sleeping witches.
Draco looked at Hermione for a few moments with a smile on his face before turning his attention to Daphne and Theo. He noticed the way that Theo was staring at her and holding her hand. "How long have you been in love with her?"

Not to add fuel to the fire but I saw Daphne and Theo go for a midnight swim in the lake. When confronted they claim to just be “unwinding” after a really bad day. They looked way to happy.
They say that it's easy to forget your troubles when the weather's warm, but all it takes is one fall breeze to blow reality right back in your face. Watch out, Daphne; Tropical Storm Tori is brewing on the horizon. The peace talks can only last so long.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
"I don't know why I followed you down here," Daphne huffed, shaking her head as she perched herself on a rock near the edge of the lake. "I have no intentions of getting in the water, and if you splash me, I swear to Merlin, I will hex you into next year."
Theo rolled his eyes, chuckling as he dived into the cool waters of the lake. This was exactly what he needed after all of the utter chaos that was his dormitory. Blaise went through moments of pure hatred and spite towards him to moments where he could care less who was in the room with him. Most nights like that, Theo found himself rolling his friend into bed and then hoping that Blaise would sleep through the night, allowing the rest of the room some peace to sleep in.
Since their fight, Daphne and Blaise refused to be in the same part of the castle. One of the pathetic first years who desperately wanted a spot on Slytherin's Quidditch team was playing moderator between the two of them, telling Blaise when it was safe to return to the dungeons because Daphne was out somewhere doing Merlin knows what with whomever she could find. Or at least that was how Blaise's mind interpreted all things that involved Daphne being away from the common room.
Theo thought their behavior was downright childish, but he knew better than bringing it up with either of them, especially not Blaise. Blaise would happily take a swing at him any time he's given a chance. If he was going to take his chances with any of them, Theo was more willing to take a chance with Daphne. At least if she swung at him, he would be able to deflect her swing by grabbing ahold of her wrist. Or if she did manage to hit him, it wouldn't sting nearly as much.
Daphne tucked her foot under her arse as she watched Theo enjoy the cool waters of the Black Lake. There was a coolness in the air that brought a calmness to her body. That calmness was not felt by her mind, however. Every time she thought she found herself moving on from Blaise and being okay with what had happened, something else would pop up as a reminder. She wrapped her hand around her stomach and let out a deep breath. "I really hope this is all just stress," she mumbled.
"What was that?" Theo asked, startling her as he popped his head up and rested his arms on the rock she was sitting on. He looked her up and down carefully. "Is there something you haven't told me?"
Daphne nodded her head slowly as she moved her hand from her stomach to her lap. "Yes, there is. But I'm not ready to talk about it yet."
Theo furrowed his brow and grazed his teeth along his lower lip, taking a deep breath. He looked her up and down once more, his eyes lingering on her stomach as his mind flooded with all of the possible things she needed to tell him. "How late?"
"Two weeks," Daphne sighed, leaning down to rest her chin on her knees as she took a few deep breaths.
"Have you?" Theo started to ask, only to be cut off quickly.
"No," Daphne quipped, shaking her head. "And I'm not telling him until I absolutely have to."
"Who else knows?" Theo asked, reaching out to hold Daphne's hand as she kept her arms wrapped around her knees.
"No one," she replied, squeezing his hand gently. "I didn't even want to tell you until I knew for sure."
"When can you find out for sure?"
Daphne pinched her eyes shut tight and shook her head. This was not the conversation she wanted to be having right now. All she wanted to do was get out of the castle for a few hours just to avoid the wrath of those who had taken Blaise's side in their breakup. She just wanted to be left alone.
"Okay," Theo sighed, rubbing his thumb against the back of her hand. "We don't have to talk about this now. But now that I know, I'm going with you to find out for sure."
Daphne's head shot up with her mouth open to rebut, but she closed her mouth when she met Theo's eyes. She rolled her eyes and nodded her head slowly. "Fine"
Theo laughed as he pulled his hand away from her and pushed himself up out of the water and onto the rock. He took a seat beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close to him. "Everything will be okay. You don't have to go through this alone."

I saw Blaise pig out and eat two whole pies with his hands in one shameful sitting. Gluttony is no way to get over a girl.
Spotted: Blaise Zabini going stag at the Three Broomsticks with two healthy servings of humble pie after yet another argument in public with Theodore Nott defending Daphne's honor.
He looks miserable, and he really shouldn't be alone. Misery loves company.

"We're getting ready to close," Rosmerta teased, wiping down the counter beside where Blaise was sitting. She laughed as she watched him stare at the glass of Firewhisky sitting untouched in front of him. Rosmerta looked him over and shook her head. "You've been here an awful lot lately. Everything okay?"
Blaise shook his head as he ran his fingers up and down the edge of the glass, wiping off the condensation that had started to form. He refused to look up from the glass, but he could feel Rosmerta's eyes observing his every move.
She was right. He had been spending a lot of time at the Three Broomsticks lately. It was the only place he could blend in and be left alone. Daphne's hideout of choice was the Leaky Cauldron when she needed to get away from the world, and she was the last person he wanted to see, so he came here in the hopes that he could drown out every memory of ever knowing her.
Blaise was sick of coming in second when it came to Daphne. It didn't matter if it was the second choice of who to love or the second choice of who to support. He was done letting Daphne and anyone else walk all over him. He was going to take a stand for himself and live his life to the fullest. But before he could do that, he needed to repair things with Nott and Malfoy - not that there was much left to salvage.
The three of them had been friends since before their invitations to Hogwarts came by posts. That was one of the only benefits Blaise could see from being associated with the Sacred 28. Other than that, he wished he could forget the ties that bind them together.
"Are you going to finish that?" Rosmerta asked, pulling Blaise out of his thoughts once more. He glanced up and noticed her smiling at him as she pointed to the glass in front of him.
"The longer I let it sit here undrank, the less time I have to spend in the castle surrounded by people that don't want anything to do with me," Blaise laughed, wrapping his hands around the glass in front of him once more.
"They won't hate you forever," Rosmerta replied, resting her elbows on the bar. She gave him a once over and reached for an empty glass. She grabbed the bottle of Ogden's and poured another glass. Rosemerta picked up the glass and tilted it towards him, nodding her head. "No one should drink alone. Cheers."
"Cheers," Blaise replied, lifting his glass in the air briefly before bringing it to his lips. The amber liquid burned its way down his throat as Blaise let out a sigh of relief.
"There's a room upstairs that's available if you need someplace to stay," Rosmerta said, offering him a smile. "But it's only a one-night deal. I've seen you in here with that witch of yours and your buddies."
"She's not my witch," Blaise sighed, taking another sip of his drink. "And I don't think they'd call me a friend at the moment."
"I've seen the way she looks at that Nott boy," Rosmerta replied, shrugging her shoulders. "She loves him."
"I know," Blaise replied, downing the rest of his drink.
"Then why do you fight her to be with you?" she asked, finishing off the last of her drink.
"Because he's no good for her," Blaise growled, pushing himself away from the bar. "Thanks for the offer, but I'm going to pass. I don't need your inquisition right now."
"The offer still stands," Rosmerta insisted, "even without the line of questioning."
Blaise shook his head as he made his way towards the door. "I really need to get back before someone comes looking for me. Thanks for everything, Rosmerta. But you should really mind your own business."
"It brings me joy knowing the ins and outs of everything going on in the castle," Rosmerta said, flashing a smile. "Have a good night, Blaise. Lock the door on your way out."
They say love conquers all. But maybe love never met Daphne Greengrass. Poor Zabini. It looks like our resident moral compass isn't such a straight arrow after all.

I think I saw Draco with both greengrass sisters in the astronomy tower. They seemed the be getting very comfy.. Draco does have a reputation with to have been with many girls. I wonder what their partners think about this?

"We need to talk," Astoria said, grabbing Daphne's hand and pulling her off the bed. "But we can't do this here."
"Let go of me," Daphne growled, pulling her hand away from her sister. She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back against the headboard. Daphne looked Astoria up and down and frowned. "What if I don't want to talk to you?"
"Why wouldn't you want to talk to me?" Astoria replied, furrowing her brow. "If anyone shouldn't want to talk to someone, it should be me not wanting to talk to you. I mean, you have been caught sneaking about the castle with my boyfriend."
"Yes, because everything is about you," Daphne said, rolling her eyes. She pushed herself off the bed and shook her head. "Did you ever think maybe I didn't want to leave the safety of my dorm? I don't think people are exactly happy with my drunken stupor from a few nights ago."
"Oh, right," Astoria sighed, scrubbing her hands over her face. "I forgot about your fight with Blaise. Have you talked to him since it happened?"
"I don't want to talk about this," Daphne huffed, brushing past Astoria to grab her coat. "Let's just get out of here so you can tell me whatever it is you want to talk about."
Astoria inhaled sharply and held her breath for a few moments, stopping whatever smart remark that was about to drop out of her mouth. At this moment, she needed her sister because she was the only person in the entire castle that would understand what was happening to her. Even though Astoria hated Daphne's behavior, she knew that Daphne would be able to tell her exactly what to do, especially since she was Theo's best friend.
"Where are we going?" Daphne asked, glancing over her shoulder. She laughed when Astoria jumped at the sound of her voice. "Who's got you spooked?"
Astoria rolled her eyes as they made their way out of the common room and through the dungeon. As they approached the stairs, Daphne stopped and turned on her heels to face her sister.
"You need to tell me where we're going so I don't wander around the castle like a moron," Daphne said, shaking her head as she looked Astoria up and down. Something was off about her sister, but that wasn't entirely unusual. Daphne had always been a tad bit more judgmental of her sister than was necessary, but that was her job as the oldest Greengrass sister. Well, one of her jobs.
Daphne shook her head as the thought passed through her mind. She wanted to live the life that she wanted, which meant she needed to make sure Astoria followed the Greengrass family ways and all possible suitors were approved by her parents. Creevy was not the match her parents had in mind, so whatever had happened with him and Tori, Daphne needed to get to the bottom of it.
"Let's go to the Astronomy Tower," Astoria said, pointing towards the stairs. "You're familiar with the location, right?"
"You want me to listen to what you have to say, right?" Daphne asked, furrowing her brow as she glared at her sister.
"Of course," Astoria said, nodding her head quickly as she ran her fingers through her hair. "Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude."
"Save it," Daphne said, rolling her eyes as she turned around and made her way up the stairs. "We can go back to hating each other once you tell me what's going on with you."
~xoxo~
Draco let out a sigh as he leaned up against the railing as he looked out over the castle. This was the only place he could get away and think. Hermione knew he liked to hang out here, but she also knew when he came here that he needed to be alone. He needed to clear his mind and finally figure out what the hell he was going to do about Lucius's ultimatum.
"Damn it," Astoria sighed, tossing her arms up in the air as she rounded the corner and noticed Draco standing at the top of the stairs. "Malfoy, what are you doing here?"
Draco glanced down the steps out of the corner of his eye and bit back the remark that was sitting on the tip of his tongue. "I came up here to think. What are you doing here, Tori? And with Daphne," he laughed, shaking his head. "That's an interesting choice of companion for the tower. I didn't realize you two were into each other."
"That's why neither of us would go out with you," Daphne huffed, pushing Tori out of her way as she made her way up the steps. She squared up to Draco and crossed her arms over her chest. "Why aren't you curled up in the Gryffindor common room with your bookworm? Did you two finally realize you were better off apart?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Draco snapped, taking a step closer to her but stopping himself before he did something he might have regretted. "What have you heard?"
"Nothing," Daphne laughed, holding her hands up as she shook her head. "It was just a joke. But apparently, there's some truth to it. Let me guess, Mommy and Daddy Malfoy aren't happy with your love choice."
"I'm not talking about this with you," Draco huffed, shaking his head. "I'll get out of your way."
"No," Astoria chimed in, joining them at the top of the stairs. "Stay. You might be able to help me too."
"Go on," Draco replied, leaning against the railing. He gave Astoria a once over. She was pretty, but he had never noticed it before. She was always Theo's girl, and after the incident with Ginny, Draco knew it was best not to go to war with Nott over a girl.
Astoria took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "Before I tell you this, I need you to promise me that you won't say a word to anyone. Can I trust you?"
Astoria's eyes fluttered open as she looked up at each of them. She saw Daphne nodding her head, which she knew was as good as her giving her word that she'd keep her mouth shut. With that confirmation in mind, she turned her attention to Draco, who was looking at her with a smile.
"For now, you can trust me," Draco said, offering her a wink and a smile.
"Colin Creevy kissed me," Astoria said, mumbling under her breath. She had hoped that neither of them had actually heard her, but it felt good to get it off her chest.
"We know," Draco and Daphne replied in unison.

Which Weasley was it? Who cares?! We heard the Princess Pansy is still into redheads.
New day, same old story. Another secret fling of Parkinson's has come out of the darkness and into the light.
I wonder how that makes Neville, Ron, and Fred feel to find out that Pansy's been caught fooling around with yet another member of the redheaded clan.
I never knew Little Weasley swung for the other team.
~xoxo, Gossip Witch
"It's a damn shame I missed out on a chance with Little Weasley when I had a chance," Greg laughed, shaking his head as he walked past the group of students gathered around a familiar redhead. He winked and flashed a smile when he saw Ginny pop her head out of the circle.
"What was that comment, Goyle?" Ginny hissed, furrowing her brow as she crossed her arms over her chest. She stepped out of the circle of friends so that she could get a better look at Greg.
Greg stopped in his tracks with a snicker before turning on his heels to face her. A smirk pulled at the corners of his lips as he looked her up and down. "It's no wonder that Zabini and Nott couldn't make you happy. They didn't have the right parts."
"Keep Theo and Blaise out of this, Greg," Ginny replied, taking a few steps towards him with her eyes focused on him. She refused to break eye contact with him. "Just because I turned you down for a date doesn't mean I'm interested in girls."
"That's not what the rumor mill said," Greg laughed, shoving his hand in his pocket to find the piece of parchment he had shoved in there before he turned down the corridor. A smile pulled at his lips as fingers wrapped around the small paper plan. He pulled it out and tossed it to her. "Gossip Witch seems to state otherwise."
Greg noticed Pansy rounding the corner and stopping dead in her tracks when she noticed Ginny standing in the middle of the hall reading the piece of parchment.
"Parkinson, it seems you and your little redheaded secret need to have a little chat," Greg laughed, motioning for Pansy to join them. "It would appear she's having a little bit of memory loss. A big ole kiss might just remind her. What do you say, Parkinson?"
"Do you have to be such an ass, Goyle?" Pansy growled, snatching the piece of parchment out of Ginny's hand. She noticed Ginny open her mouth to protest but closed it when she met Pansy's eyes. "Maybe you're just jealous that your love life is so non-existent that Gossip Witch doesn't have anything to write about you. Or maybe she's not so concerned with one of Draco's little lackeys who can't get a date to save his life."
Greg opened his mouth to respond but closed it almost immediately as he thought about what else he could say that would make Pansy shut up and retreat. Nothing he could think of would bite back the way that he wanted it to. Pansy wasn't someone to be messed with; that's why he chose to start something with Weasley. She was an easier target than Parkinson. Shaking his head, Greg held his hands up and backed away. "You win."
Pansy nodded her head and looked around at the crowd that had gathered around them. "What are you all looking at?"
A chorus of "nothing" rose up around her, and she laughed as she watched people turn away and return to their conversations. However, she could tell they were still watching them out of the corners of their eyes. Rolling her eyes, Pansy took a deep breath. She knew they were waiting for something to happen. They didn't know what they wanted to happen, but they wanted to wait. It was the only reason they were all still there.
Pansy glanced at Ginny out of the corner of her eye. Ginnys' mouth was hanging open as she watched Goyle walk away from the crowd. It was almost as though she couldn't believe how easy it was to get him to go away. Pansy rolled her eyes; she had her fair share of practice chasing people like Goyle away. The Slytherin Common Room wasn't always the most friendly place to spend time.
"I can't believe this blast," Ginny mumbled, shaking her head as she turned to face Pansy. "Thanks for coming to my rescue."
"I didn't rescue you," Pansy scoffed, looking her up and down. "I have a reputation to uphold."
"Of being the castle slut?" Ginny asked, crossing her arms over her chest as she cocked her head to the side.
"Really?" Pansy asked, tossing her head back with a laugh. "That's rich coming from you."
"What that's supposed to mean?" Ginny hissed, stepping closer to Pansy. Their faces were only centimeters apart. Ginny's eyes searched Pansy for an answer before allowing her eyes to flutter closed. They both leaned into one another.
Pansy's hands found Ginny's waist and pulled her body flush against her. She tilted her head slightly to get better access to Ginny's lips, sliding her tongue along the seam, asking permission to enter. Ginny moaned in response, allowing Pansy's tongue to slip inside her mouth and deepen the kiss.
The two remained entangled in one another for a few moments before pulling apart. Ginny's eyes went wide when she realized what had just happened. She pushed away Pansy and took off, running down the corridor, refusing to look behind her. She could hear people calling her name, but she couldn't look back. She just couldn't.
