Yikes, I'm officially a college student.
I have my first day on Friday, oddly enough. 9am to 1pm. Hopefully this music course isn't a let down, and I actually learn what I want to learn; what I need to learn; to get somewhere in the metal / punk music industry.
At least my tutor seems to have a genuine desire to make his students succeed, as well as a genuine passion for music of pretty much all genres; never known someone to jump from Beethoven's symphonies to progressive death metal with such ease.
Hopefully this also leads to me "finding my people" so to speak. I need friends who share similar passions to me, otherwise this whole dream of being in a band will just be that; a total pipe dream.
Goddammit pessimism, fuck off for a second.
