Guild Wars 2 Art Competition

Deep in the hostile, troll-infested jungles of the Internet, there is a man… a man that plays a fuckton of Guild Wars 2. His identity is a mystery, being one of the only souls in the history of humankind to have never given away personal information on the Internet. Although it is whispered in the darkest corners of Youtube that he answers to the name… WoodenPotatoes.

Being someone that’s into Guild Wars even more than I am (as well as, I assume, potato farming and whittling), WoodenPotatoes decided to organize a Guild Wars-related art contest on Reddit. His definition of ‘art’ is a bit looser than you may think; beyond artwork, he’ll accept fanfics, composed music, interpretive dance techniques… whatever, really, as long as it fits the theme.

The theme, by the way, is ‘Living World: Season 3′. Whatever it is you draw/write/compose/create, it must be related to what you think/speculate/wish/desperately hope Season 3 will be about when it launches next year. Winner gets a buncha Gems. If you’re bored and not quite as creatively bankrupt as I am, give it a whirl. You might win. 

I’ve decided to take a crack at it, because I have way too much free time on my hands and I really want that Exalted Glider in the Gem Store. Not to over sexualize my characters, but I kind of wish female sylvari had more body style options with more curves. all of the current styles look so skinny and stick like. I want a bit more leaf on my twig, i feel like it would make some of the armors look better.
