It's Autumn! My boyfriend and I are both "Over the Garden wall" fans. We are also both Libras, so as a little birthday treat I decided to make us a self-insert sculpture based on the show!

Here's where we are so far.

^ I started with a *rough* sketch

In the show, they have these old timey (puritan-esque?) outfits. However, since it's supposed to represent us, I wanted to do something a lil' extra. I used our cultural backgrounds to inspire the clothes. My boyfriend is chinese, so his is based on chinese hanfu elements, and mine is similar to an Austrian drindl I wore as a kid. (This is fantasy. It is NOT historically accurate)

This is the base for the first sculpture. I'm using sculpy polymer clay. Next step in to add the looser clothing to the outside. I changed the pose to be more dynamic and plan on ordering a mini led lantern to place in his hand.
