Hi, it’s werelivingarts again. During online school, I find it extremely hard to concentrate on schoolwork since there are so many distractions on laptops, phones and even in your home. Sometimes, you have plan to work but your brain won’t collaborate, so here is some tips to help you with attention management. 😊

if you’ve recently gotten a bad grade...

I decided to make this post because I studied for a maths test the other day, sat down to write it… and knew next to nothing. What sucked about the whole situation was that literally everybody else in my class knew exactly what to do, and they’re all most likely correct.

It’s totally fine though. You’re alive. Still breathing. Still living. It happens to the best of us. I know everybody always says this, but it’s true that one shifty grade isn’t going to make all your other sparkling, pretty grades suddenly invalid. Those nice ones aren’t going anywhere, and if you did study there’s really nothing else you can do except make sure you understood the concept(s) properly.

Like the old saying goes, don’t cry over spilled milk. What’s done is done, so you should just move on. After a hurricane comes a rainbow, remember? ;)

I’m not the best at giving advice but I’ve let myself stress over things I can’t control enough times to be able to tell you to just take a breather, drink some tea, and think about something else totally unrelated. You’ll feel so much better.

Futhermore: “tumblr” as you experience it is defined entirely by whom you’re following. If you think tumblr doesn’t focus enough on recovery or female artists or Jason Momoa, follow some recovery/female artists/Jason Momoa blogs, and tumblr will change.

I just learned that some websites use cookies to adjust prices. That is, if you visit a certain website a lot the price will increase.

You can tell if that’s the case by checking the same web page on a different browser if you have a different number of stored cookies for that site. I checked something on Chegg and it was $14.95 on Chrome, $19.95 on Firefox, and $16.95 on Safari.

The fix? Clear your cookies for that website.

It’s a minor pet peeve, but it is everywhere today so errrr…. please keep in mind that “Rest in Peace”/RIP literally comes from a latin phrase and is a very very deeply Christian expression.

When talking about the departed, Jews say “may their memory be a blessing.”

So please, when talking about a dead person who is Jewish, try to keep in mind that RIP is a Christian phrase.

Tea drinkers read this!!!

If you buy pre-made herbal tea blends (usually have names like Bedtime, Calm, etc) check the ingredients. I just saw a Nighttime blend that had St. Johns Wort in it, which can be dangerous when mixed with some medications. Talk to you doctor what herbs you should avoid. (Especially when you want to ingest st. Johns wort or mugwort) 

 A simple hint to remember is just because its in a food store, doesn’t mean its safe.

hi everyone!! ok so i know i’ve been on hiatus for a while because of school and stuff like that but i really want to get back in the swing of things here on my blog. when tumblr gave me back @/draamione back after terminating it in june, both my birthday page and my fandom fam pages were messed up.
