Snowman Paniting!

Here’s a fun little winter themed painting idea for all you kiddos! I hope you enjoy!

What You’ll Need

-White Paper

-Coloured Paper

-Scissors

-Blue Paint

-Paper Plate/ Paint Tray

-A Black Marker

-An Orange Marker

-Extra: Fun Decoration (Felt, Pom-Poms, etc.)

Step 1!

Draw three different sized circles on a paper, to be the snowman’s head, upper body, and lower body!

Step 2!

Cut the circles out and place them on the paper to form a snowman shape! (If you wanna be extra safe, you can tape them down, or weigh them down with something like an eraser to keep them in place!)

Step 3!

Pour some paint onto a paper plate or into a paint tray, and get some on your finger. (If you don’t like getting paint on your hand, use a cotton ball and/or a q-tip!)

Step 4!

Put dots of paint all over the paper, including on the edges of the snowman! I used three different colours for some variety, and tried to make them different sizes!

Step 5!

Take the coloured paper off, and you’ll see the outline of a snowman on your paper between the snowflakes!

Step 6!

When the paint is dry, give your snowman a face with a carrot nose and some buttons using the markers!

Step 7!

Make your snowman special by giving him a personal touch! I gave mine a hat and some stick hands! Maybe your snowman wants some boots and a scarf! Maybe it wants gloves on its hands! No two snowmen are the same, so do whatever you think is right!

Step 8!

This is the most important part!! When your snowman is all done, write your name and the year on your paper! That way you can look back on it in the future and be proud of what you did!

When you’ve finished, you can hang the picture up or give it to a friend as a gift! Have fun, kiddos!
