Fanfiction authors, please kill the capitalist in your head.

You’re not making content, you’re not going to become an influencer, you’re not making a social media post, you’re a fan.

Make that fanfiction only three people will like, post every other month or less, write the experimental fanfiction, take a break for 5 years, just have fun with it. If your end goal is to write a story that will make you famous/let you make money, you should find another creative medium because that's not the outcome fanfiction was built for.
