You know how Aku said that he can't move on until he kills the ...well... JINKO? Does that mean one of them is going to die in the end? I mean bsd havent really killed off their main characters yet but god I hope they dont die. I love these boys with all my heart. I get shivers when they get a scratch, nevermind DEATH! 😢
I WOULD CRY!!
SSKK are my two favorite characters. (They work so well by themselves and together) and I would be BEYOND upset if either one died.
But I don’t think it’s going to happen. (Partially because Asagiri has admitted to hating killing off main characters and also cause I don’t think it would really be a good idea to start killing off characters without like... buildup?) Does that make sense?...
This got long, I’m gonna put it under the cut...
Ryuu won’t kill Atsushi. Because him not killing Atsushi would be the perfect way to really begin both of their character arcs!
Atsushi and Ryuu have to understand each other (to understand themselves and find a purpose for their lives), that’s kinda what their arcs are building to. And out of the two of them, Atsushi is actually the most stubborn and unwilling to change his mindset when it comes to Ryuu.
It can easily be seen in their most recent interactions in Chapter 51.

Atsushi is the one provoking Ryuu, not the other way around.
But Ryuu actually does make attempts to talk to and understand Atsushi, in his own.. weird Ryuu way.
Ryuu is also taking active steps towards redemption, by not killing people as instructed, while Atsushi is definitely not.

He’s simply trying to overcome Ryuu with raw power. (Which is funnily enough exactly what he yelled at Ryuu for doing earlier)
In the story, it has been around 1 month since this promise was created (one month since Cannibalism plus a couple of days that the DOA Arc has taken place in. It’s not enough time to see what kind of effect that Ryuu not killing people has done to him but you can clearly see that he’s actually healthier-looking than last time (at least until the new chapter drops)

Anyways, because Ryuu is not killing people he is making more progress than Atsushi is, who continues to be very stubborn and unchanging about Ryuu (and the world). Which is why I think, that by the time six months rolls around, Ryuu will have changed enough to not be able to kill Atsushi.
And that’s what is going to break Atsushi’s mindset, because the person that he believes only know how to kill, not killing him would be the best way to get him to finally realize that not everything is as black and white as it seems
DONE!
(Wow I am,... a nerd)

How do you feel about pickles?
My mom used to buy those huge jars full of giant pickles. These guys:
When I was 3 years old, I got into the fridge, somehow got into a brand new jar (we have no idea how) and ate every single pickle and drank all the juice.
Ignoring how I opened the jar or fit that many pickles into my toddler stomach, my mom scolded me and told me other people have a right to pickles too. She said I can't eat ALL of one item in the fridge.
She replaced the jar, and I got THAT one open too, I removed a single pickle and set it aside, and I ate all the others, drank all the juice, and stuck the single sad lone pickle back into the empty jar.
My dad Never got over this. He brought it up any chance he got.
I like pickles though yeah.

Akutagawa: I don't really like kids...
Atsushi: You were a kid once.
Akutagawa: ... and I'll be a corpse at some point as well. It doesn't mean that I want to spend time around dead bodies.

ANTI-BARFING SPIKES.
This is why they have such a problem with plastic bags. It’s because the unique structure of their esophagus makes it so that they can’t get rid of them.
