Epcot pavilions as fashion part 2: Horizons

List of references in her outfit under the cut

Her earrings are the Horizons symbol

Her belt is the Horizons sign

Her shoulder pads make up the shape of the building

Her purse is the concrete planter that’s currently the only remaining remnant of horizons

And she’s holding a lorange grown in mesa verde :)

The background is vaguely a reference to the prologue and the promise mural

Hello! I have no time for a job this semester and my bank account is looking dire so commissions are open again. This pricing list was created 2 years ago so all prices are the same however my art has improved since these examples were done so please check @octdoodles for recent examples.

Please note: If you’d like something that’s not listed here (i.e. two characters together, a fully body image, etc.), you can message me to discuss it. I will let you know if I can do it or not and what the pricing would be.

I take payment through paypal AFTER the commission is complete. Yes, I already know this isn’t the way I should do it, however I find it easier this way so that a refund does not have to be issued if I am unable to complete the commission due to anything coming up.

I like the posters in the tower of terror gift shop but they always stand out to me as very modern art styles so i wanted to try my hand at making a poster that's based in 1930s art! I also wanted to have carolyn in a pretty red dress like the posters but since strapless dresses we're super popular yet i went for this halter gown based on one seen in The Women (1939)

plus a changing portrait variety because haunted mansion shouldn't get all the fun

fighting for my LIFE trying to find clear images of the tower preshow actors. don't know who gilbert or carolyn are played by and who tf would i contact for that information i don't even know. and then i find behind the scenes images with no source

Now that Dinosaur is on its way out, we should really be pushing Disney to preserve this ride that so many of us love. The fossils and casts in the queue should really be preserved, not to mention the animatronics. All of them are pieces of Disney history. In particular, the Aladar animatronic should really be put in the Archives or something. But we know Disney won't do that, so fans should do it. Some of us should get together to get that animatronic out of there before the whole building is destroyed. Listen up: we’ve gotta get in, grab the iguanodon, and get out before that demolition hits. Let's roll!
