Logan's blood ran cold at the sight of her, in retrospect. In fact, he was fairly sure that there was some discussion as to whether or not his heart was to keep beating. He inclined his head slightly, clearing his throat and aching for a cigar. 

He felt examined, positively watched beyond belief.

"Because you-" Why was he telling her? She knew she died. Everyone knew she died. "What are you doing around here?" Yeah, sure, that was a good switch.

When ah went to the X-Men, ah was desperate. They had every reason to turn me away. But they didn't. Ah figured if they believed in me, ah owed it to them to believe in myself. To try. To get better.
