"I have to go back," X whispered, his tongue heavy with the words.

"You don't," his sister, Yoza, argued. "The heroes can take care of it at this point, Kouka."

When X, "Kouka," was 7 and Yoza was 3, their parents were killed by their employer, Overseer.

X was taken by the organization to use as a subject of experimentation.

X had hidden Yoza in a cabinet, saving her.

Overseer's goal was to find a way to give a person multiple quirks through genetic manipulation. When X's parents attempted to betray them after they found out the organization's true goals, they killed them and took their child to tie up loose ends.

The research team at Overseer was successfully able to merge a synthesized quirk with X's true quirk, Mold. They combined into a new quirk, Obsidian, that allowed them to generate a nearly indestructible black material in their stomach in whatever form they wished. (Their mouth opens extremely wide to allow them to... retrieve... the items.)

X was then raised and trained by Overseer to become an adaptable assassin, able to make any weapon they could want.

Eventually, they escaped after eliminating a significant number of Overseer soldiers and reunited with their sister. This caused the organization to go into hiding for a while but they eventually returned, creating the drawn scenario.

Argo is a knight for the kingdom (unnamed as of now) and Vespa is her apprentice.
