As gen-AI becomes more normalized (Chappell Roan encouraging it, grifters on the rise, young artists using it), I wanna express how I will never turn to it because it fundamentally bores me to my core. There is no reason for me to want to use gen-AI because I will never want to give up my autonomy in creating art. I never want to become reliant on an inhuman object for expression, least of all if that object is created and controlled by tech companies. I draw not because I want a drawing but because I love the process of drawing. So even in a future where everyone’s accepted it, I’m never gonna sway on this.

apparently, recently(?) on douyin, a housewife posted about her husband's unhinged reaction after she ate the last 2 swiss rolls out of a box of 8 when her husband and 2 kids had already eaten all the other swiss rolls. the husband's unreasonable response naturally outraged cnetizens. thus, one recent(?) douyin trend has been for women to ask their boyfriends/husbands the following, and then to record the answer: suppose that we get married and have two kids, and then obtain a box of swiss rolls, how should we split them?

Wwx who was kinda ugly in middle school but still super friendly, nice and kind and followed lwj around trying to be his friend. Lwj who ignored him and got him detention and refused his invitations for almost two years. Anyways. They get separated in high school and lwj realizes he misses him and has had a crush the whole time. He doesn't have wwx contact information nor does he know anyone that does.

Time goes on. They meet again in college. Wwx his now drop dead gorgeous (his canon self) and lwj wants to pursue him romantically, except that now he is just one of MANY and is afraid wwx will think him shallow for only being interested now.

um I really adore transmigrator lan zhan and I can’t stop thinking about how he might be the perfect person against the system bc he gets one OOC warning and is like hmmmm ok and like tests the boundaries a few more times to get a measure of what he can & can’t do before proceeding to toe the line so perfectly that he gets away with any and everything. like an OOC warning is NOT getting in the way of wooing his man. he’s a master at abiding by the rules and he’s about to make that the system’s problem
