Photographer - Hellen Van Meene
The first three images on the top refer to Marni F/W16 Campaign, and the rest photos are her other works.
Photographer Hellen Van Meene is a Dutch artist, I’m very like the collection advertising photographs, presented a very life atmosphere with artistic vision. She usually take photographs on these young girls as main object, her photography is very contemporary, with special point of view to observe. Her works prove an artist can also shoot excellent commercial advertising.
I think the photographer was trying to express the scene of life through artistic philosophy, not only in the visual expression but also deliver deeper impact. This sort of effect in recent advertisement with Marni is commonly happen, but this group of photographs is more like to express a restless youth we had experienced, I was touched by the picture at the same time already forgotten that this is a brand of advertising.

Photographer and painter - Laszlo Moholy Nagy
In his documentary book, he said “in the photographic camera we have the most reliable aid to a beginning of objective vision. […] We may say that we see the world with entirely different eyes.”
That makes me very impressive.
What shocked me about Moholy-Nagy, not just optimistic attitude. But also his photography is more like a means, not the end. And it is about how to use this medium for a very specific purpose. Nowaday, media photography is not driven by the extent to which you manipulate the image. Instead, it is driven by how to use the photo. It has become fully socialized. For photo albums, this is true, because in many ways, most non-photographers use their images on sites like Tumblr.
Among his radical innovations were his experiments with cameraless photographs (which he dubbed “photograms”); unconventional use of industrial materials in painting and sculpture; experiments with light, transparency, space, and motion across mediums; and his work at the forefront of abstraction. He foresaw photography as the artform of the future. As the discovery of one-point perspective gave creative impetus to the Renaissance, so Moholy-Nagy realised that technical advances in photography and film would transform social and cultural values as the 20th century progressed. “The Light Prop for an Electric Stage”, also known as “the Light Space Modulator”, 1929-30, was created by Laszlo Moholy-Nagy to provide lighting effects for plays and other performances. This installation embodies the artist’s aim to introduce kinetic elements “in which the volume relationships are virtual ones” into a work of art. It also sums up well Moholy-Nagy’s interest in the unity of art and technology.

Photographer - Sinziana Velicescu
There’s no better way to describe Sinziana Velicescu’s photography than “sun-drenched” – you can practically feel the warmth radiating off her simple, sparse, outdoorsy shots. There’s not much more we can say about these beaut images, except that our eyeballs are thoroughly enjoying all that she has on offer.

What is cultural triangulation?
According to the chapter five of Trend forecaster’s handbook, Martin Raymond illustrated what ‘Cultural triangulation’ is. That’s the key approach to trend forecasting used by many people in the industry, a combination of three different but mutually beneficial processes. But in the global brand, because the work of the forecasting industry will consider many factors seriously, it is necessary to combine the various data that combine the soft skills with hard skills to reach a conclusion for global brand, such as data statistics and data analysis. Through three stages, the forecasters receive information and inspiration, leading to the scenario planning stage and reflecting the hidden motives and desires.
The process of cultural triangulation involves the use of several methods to predict trends, by using another method to delve deeper into a problem will clarify the results, or ask further questions, and then check. The use of a variety of methods also reduces the use of a method found by any prejudice, the forecaster works more accurate. The interrogation is a survey technique in which many individuals or groups have interviewed their attitudes or activities by observing the "visual analysis" of people observing individuals or lifestyles involved in specific activities at close range, and finally intuition stage, the prophets reflect on their experience, collecting more insight from their observations. The combination of these methods, linking quantitative and qualitative factors, provides a more in-depth explanation for forecasters to collect all relevant information into the context in which they are undertaking the project.
However, a person can think of anything that may be very useful for the predictor. As a result, forecasters must seek all the information that may be useful to customers by cross-questioning and diplomatic attitudes. The interrogation stage include background information and "desktop research" that can be developed by the forecasters and further investigates the current issue as it allows them to question whether there are any problems or incomplete information, as well as the objectives of the project.
Information amnesty is used as the initial stage of the triangulation process of culture, which forecasters expect in their relevance in the issue of access to information questioning customers. In order to collect all the information needed, a certain degree of diplomacy must be carried out. This can be achieved by using a cross-query method where you can identify new product concepts, develop existing products, or you are focusing on emerging trends.
By using various methods to reduce any prejudice and further strengthen the work of forecasters. In short, above support forecasters for more specific research and use their broad skills development comprehensive perspective, to provide more valuable forecasting for company.

Street shoots - Shanghai
There were holding some music festivals for welcoming summer in Shanghai, I stayed one day on the main street to capture these fashion girls. I selected above five looks that inspired my following designs. I am in love with such lovely clothes they wore, very practical, structural and with surprising details. As my street research for random people, the street style which just happens here can be figured out as minimalism, this sort of dressing style has become trendy.

Moodboard 1
This moodboard inspired by the combination from textile in nature and a French artistser, Gérard Schlosser who paints hyperrealistic images of body parts. He takes photographs and then isolates a part of the scene. And also, the textile from a garment has been taken from my past working place.
