Spider Island
2K posts
Welcome to Spider Island; home of Fort Spider-Geddon. It's the arachnid-based headquarters which is located at the heart of the Spider-Verse. It is home of the transdimensional Web Warriors. Seeing that there are alot of enemies in the Spider-Verse, a majority of all the different spider people had the ingenious idea of banding together to fight off these villains and protect each other no matter what.

L. Thompson Lincoln a.k.a Tombstone Character Bio
💀 Character Profile: Lonnie Thompson Lincoln a.k.a. Tombstone
🪓 Basic Information
Full Name: Lonnie Thompson Lincoln
Alias(es): Tombstone, The Big Man, Superstar (by Big Don)
Age: Late 50s to early 60s
Affiliation: Former Kingpin enforcer, self-made crime boss
Former Titles: The Big Man of Crime (Spectacular Spider-Man), Wilson Fisk’s enforcer, Harlem’s Devil
🧊 Appearance
Towering, broad-shouldered, and albino-skinned with jagged filed teeth, Tombstone maintains an intimidating presence. However, with age and overexposure to illegal chemical enhancements, subtle signs of physical decay are starting to show — trembling hands, slower movements, and a growing reliance on serum injections just to stay in control.
🧠 Personality
Tombstone once embodied control, calculation, and the commanding presence of a man who conquered chaos to build an empire. He ran New York’s criminal underworld like a business — tight books, no messes, no drama.
But now? The cracks are showing.
Years of power, betrayal, and chemical enhancement have eroded his invulnerability — not just physically, but emotionally. He's still calm, still terrifying, but there's a lingering bitterness behind the ice-blue eyes. A man who had it all and is watching it slip through his fingers.
🕊️ Rivalry with Robbie Robertson
Lonnie’s deepest personal feud is with Joseph "Robbie" Robertson, dating back to their youth in Harlem. As seen in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, the two grew up in the same rough streets — Robbie trying to make something of himself, Lonnie learning to bend the system to his advantage.
When Robbie became a crusading journalist for the Daily Bugle, Lonnie saw it as a betrayal: "We both know what this city does to people like us. You chose to pretend you were better. I chose to survive."
Their rivalry isn’t just professional — it’s philosophical. Robbie believes people can change. Tombstone believes people just hide who they really are.
Yet, there's a strange respect between them. Robbie is one of the few people Lonnie will never kill — though not for lack of opportunity.
🦹‍♂️ Rise as “The Big Man of Crime”
In The Spectacular Spider-Man, Lincoln began as the suave, untouchable “Big Man,” orchestrating New York’s criminal underworld from behind a desk in his jazz club office. He balanced diplomacy and intimidation, pitting gangs against each other, funding high-tech villainy, and keeping the chaos just below boiling point.
He took pride in keeping his hands metaphorically clean — even if they were literally soaked in blood.
During this era, Tombstone:
Financed the Sinister Six indirectly.
Brokered peace between rival syndicates like the Enforcers and Silvermane’s crew.
Secretly fed intel to police to control rivals while playing kingmaker.
But power attracts attention, and that attention eventually fractured his empire.
📉 Downfall — Spider-Man (PS4)
By the time of the PS4 Spider-Man continuity, Tombstone is a shadow of the Big Man he once was. With Kingpin taken down and the Maggia weakened, smaller factions like Tombstone’s resurfaced — but without structure, loyalty, or legacy.
Now, he runs a low-level drug ring, chemically enhancing himself with a custom formula that makes him near-invulnerable, but also deeply addicted. His body is failing; he’s slower, needs constant re-dosing, and is prone to unpredictable rages.
Still dangerous? Absolutely. But desperate, too. He fights not to rule — but just to stay relevant.
As one street-level vigilante says:
“Tombstone’s not a boss anymore. He’s just a junkie in a nice suit.”
💪 Powers & Abilities
Enhanced Strength & Durability: Still formidable, though his enhancements now come with diminishing returns and painful side effects.
Near-Invulnerability (temporarily): Can become almost immune to bullets and blunt force, but the chemical cost is steep.
Strategic Mastermind: Years as a crime boss have made him a brilliant tactician — even weakened, he’s dangerous in a chess match.
Intimidation & Presence: Even in decline, his reputation gets him through doors no one else could open.
🧩 Character Arc
From bullied kid → to feared enforcer → to untouchable kingpin → to fading relic. Lonnie Lincoln is a portrait of power eroding, of a man trying to hold onto relevance in a city that has outgrown him.
In some continuities (like YFNSM), there are flashes of humanity — brief scenes with estranged family, regrets about the path taken, even quiet moments where he considers walking away. But he's always pulled back in.
As he once told Spider-Man:
"The thing about being a monster is... people stop expecting anything else."
💬 Quotes
"I used to run this city with a word. Now they don’t even whisper my name."
"Robbie wanted the truth. I wanted peace. Funny how we both ended up with nothing."
"You’re not a hero, Spider-Man. You’re a storm. And storms? They pass."
"Being invincible doesn’t make you powerful. Being feared does."
⚖️ Moral Code (Fractured)
Once a man of rules and structure, now corrupted by desperation:
Still avoids harming children and civilians.
Still honors debts and keeps his word.
But now more willing to bend his rules when the serum takes hold — and the man inside fades.
🕸️ Relationship with Spider-Man
Tombstone doesn’t see Spider-Man as a personal enemy — unless Spidey directly interferes with his business. In fact, he respects Spider-Man’s persistence and strength, but views his moralism as childish.
Where villains like Fisk or Norman Osborn play the long con or aim for legacy, Tombstone is a street-level realist. His interactions with Spider-Man are often curt, intense, and laced with mutual recognition of the inevitable clash between order and idealism.
On occasion, they’ve even formed uneasy truces when larger threats — like the Goblin, Carnage, or the Maggia — rise up and threaten the balance Tombstone has built.
🧩 Trivia
Despite his size and strength, Lonnie has a deep appreciation for classical music and listens to it when planning jobs.
Keeps an immaculate office in an old Harlem jazz club — only a few trusted lieutenants have ever been inside.
Collects vintage fountain pens, a habit he picked up from an old mentor.
Is fluent in multiple languages, including Spanish and Russian, which he uses to negotiate with rival factions.
Has a daughter Janice who operates as the new Ultimate Beetle — someone he keeps out of the criminal life at all costs.
She recently married Randy Robertson, son of Robbie Robertson. Needless to say, he is not happy about having his old enemy as an in-law.

Hi guys! Thought I'd drop an update since I've been gone for a while. No this project isn't dead don't worry, I've been thinking about it every single day believe me. A wombo combo of end-of-term university work, still being without my stolen laptop and going on vacation with my family (which I'm currently in) has made me put this on standby for a bit.
BUT I am planning on coming back to this AU soon, I promise. I've had so many ideas behind the scenes I can't wait to show off. And to prove that...
Tumblr media
...I've finally gotten around to doing a commision for it! The Peter post has already been updated with this beautiful art drawn by my friend @kingtheghast so go follow them, comission them, give them compliments, all the stuff!
I'm aiming to have custom designs for every character in the AU, gradually because comissions cost money and I have limited amounts of said money.
But yeah! Just wanted to say: I'm not dead, the AU is not dead, and expect more soon(ish)!

First of all, Gwen was being about as subtle as a foghorn as to what she was offering. No one name drops the author of the feminine mystique AND two of the most famous blue movies in history unless she knows EXACTLY what she is saying Second, Peter given the scenario you should have been flagellating yourself so that woman NEVER worried about her being the problem. Make up a sob story but don't let HER go away devastated you twit! Amazing Spiderman 101

Max Dillion a.k.a Electro Supreme
⚡ Max Dillon / Electro Supreme
Aliases: Electro, Human Dynamo, Lightning Butt, Sparkplug (formerly), Electro Supreme (current moniker) Affiliations: Sinister Six (former), independent metahuman Base of Operations: A city on Octolympus Island aptly named: Electro-Ville Relationships:
Romantic Interest: Francine Frye (reformed mercenary & bioelectric technician)
Allies: Doctor Octopus, Vulture
Primary Adversary: Spider-Man (Peter Parker), S.H.I.E.L.D., borderline Avengers Status: Supervillain with unstable power potential and emerging humanity
💥 CORE CONCEPT
Electro Supreme is a man who once wanted to be seen—then became impossible to ignore. Max Dillon’s arc is one of bitterness, instability, and a thirst for validation that almost consumes him—literally. Born into a life of neglect and mediocrity, Max’s accident didn’t just alter his biology, it cracked open his hunger for significance. Where once he was mocked, forgotten, and overlooked—he now commands attention with every surge.
Inspired by his Ultimate Spider-Man variant’s raw volatility and energy-based form, and the Spectacular Spider-Man version’s psychological fragility and anger, Electro Supreme balances godlike potential with crumbling humanity. As he flirts with omnipotence, the only tether to his former self becomes Francine Frye—who sees the lonely, scared man behind the voltage.
⚡ ORIGIN & EVOLUTION
A low-level technician, Max Dillon was repeatedly overlooked, underpaid, and ridiculed for his awkward social habits and erratic behavior. His transformation came after an accident at ESU Labs involving dropping his power drill on a piece of highly reactive lab equipment and stumbling backward into a tank of electric eels. Bathed in concentrated bioluminescent energy, Max became a living electrical current—capable of absorbing, redirecting, and emitting massive voltage.
Initially unstable—both mentally and physically—Max struggled to maintain form, lashing out at Spider-Man and others in explosive bursts of rage. But over time, he learned to coalesce, to focus, to feed off the grid instead of shorting it.
By the time he adopted the moniker Electro Supreme, Max had transcended mere villainy—he was becoming a force of nature.
⚙️ Powers & Abilities
Living Electricity: Max no longer exists in a wholly human form—his physical state is composed of charged plasma and ionic particles
Electrokinesis (Evolving): He can manipulate electricity in a vast range—powering cities, shorting satellites, controlling devices, and creating weapons of pure voltage
Energy Absorption: Absorbs electricity from infrastructure, kinetic blasts, or even other electro-based mutants
Transference Form: Can phase through wires, disappear into grids, or reconstitute himself in charged environments
Flight & Speed: Ion propulsion allows him high-speed flight and lightning-fast reflexes
Overload Form (Near-Godhood): At his peak, Max can transform into an enormous energy being—briefly warping magnetic fields and global communications
Vulnerability: Still emotionally volatile and physically unstable; prolonged transformation can cause neurological strain or emotional disintegration
💔 Romantic Arc: Francine Frye
Once a mercenary bioelectric engineer for hire, Francine Frye met Max while attempting to stabilize his condition for a private tech firm hoping to weaponize him. Instead of exploiting him, she saw him. Broken. Misunderstood. Radiating both pain and promise.
Their connection is slow-burning but deeply emotional. Francine is one of the few people who treats Max like more than a walking storm. She nicknames him “Spark” to remind him he was human first.
In return, Max shows her vulnerability he doesn’t even show himself—occasionally returning to a more human form just to feel her touch or hear her heartbeat without it being drowned out by static.
“You think I’m made of chaos, but I remember your voice through the noise. That’s something.”
Francine is currently working with Reed Richards and Black Panther to develop a fail-safe suit to help Max regulate his power—though Max resents the idea of “leashing” what he sees as evolution.
🌩️ Personality & Psychology
Emotionally Raw: Max is easily provoked, deeply reactive, and haunted by perceived abandonment.
Insecure Genius: Behind the energy storm lies a brilliant, if unstable, mind with a deep knowledge of energy systems and mechanics.
Validation-Seeking: His rage stems not from pure evil but from a desperate desire to be seen, respected, remembered.
Conflicted Identity: He vacillates between wanting control and wanting to be consumed by the power he embodies.
Protective Love: With Francine, he becomes gentler, quieter. Her presence keeps the worst of him at bay—most of the time.
🔥 Major Themes & Conflicts
Power vs. Humanity: Max’s journey is a tug-of-war between his godlike potential and the human heart he’s afraid to fully lose.
Recognition vs. Destruction: He wants to be acknowledged—but often believes that only destruction gets attention.
Love as Stabilizer: Francine represents what Max could still become—a man with control, purpose, and connection.
Fear of Oblivion: His greatest fear isn’t death—it’s being forgotten, as he was before the lightning.
🧠 Notable Quotes
“They laughed at Max Dillon. But no one laughs at Electro Supreme.”
“I didn’t ask to become energy. I just asked not to be invisible.”
“Every time I feel you near, I remember there’s more to me than static.”
“Spider-Man? He wants to save the city. I want it to remember my name.”
“I could burn the stars out of the sky. But she asked me not to. So I didn’t.”
