Collectively, we have all recognised that while Jupiter is silly and colourful, he also has a more tired, serious, dad side to him and I love to see it come through in fics and stuff. I feel like it would have been very easy for that element of him to get overlooked in favour of purely 'silly ginger man haha' and im glad it didn't. More intimidating, tired, angry, overwhelmed Jupiter, him <3

so squall being mistaken for a ghost in the first book because people caught glimpses of him and heard him humming in the deucalion when he was visiting on the gossamer leaves two possibilities, since we know he can only be heard or seen when he's on the gossamer if he wants to be

he forgot himself while looking around / spying on morrigan, accidentally let himself be spotted or heard for a second before realizing he had to bail

he was doing it on purpose to fuck with people

i prefer door #2, partially because it's funnier, partially because i don't think he'd be careless enough to be seen by accident, and partially because... i mean look, if you can't actually physically interact with anything around you, you gotta do something to entertain yourself.

i love how chanda only shows up in a couple scenes every book, but in nearly all of them, the narration is just like "also dame chanda was there and she was serving absolute cunt. she looked perfect and men everywhere would do anything for her. her boyfriend of the day was currently doing something extravagant to thank her for gracing him with her presence. she was perfect" because she IS.
