Valiant Turtle by Dave Catlin from Valiant Technology Ltd. (1983) could be connected to an Apple IIe computer and programmed in Logo. Described as a remotely controlled educational instrument, the Valiant turtle does away with the clumsy tether. It receives commands via an infra-red link, which control its stepper motors and pen motor, to lift or lower a pen. It comes with a Communicator unit, designed to receive data from the host computer and translate it into an infra red signal. The turtle is powered by a nicad battery pack with fast charge facility. It has to be said that the design takes the turtle concept quite literally.

letter to younger kin, or things i wish i would’ve heard from an older kin when i was, i dunno, 15 (i’m now 21 so really not that old at all but)
yes it may be “just a phase.” it also might not be. no that doesn’t mean that you’re not “true kin” or that you’re “cringe”
people who kin “seriously” rather than “for fun” are also not cringe, and please don’t force yourself to only kin “for fun” because your peers tell you that’s the only “acceptable way” to be kin.
canon calls and kin servers, while they can be a good way to make friends, can also be really, really dangerous. please keep in mind that there are some creepy adults out there that KNOW the people who make those servers / posts are commonly young. be careful (when i was about 16, i joined a kin server that ended up being run by a pedophile trying to groom young people, and i don’t doubt things like that are still happening today)
adding onto that last point, please god DON’T trust someone just because they claim to be your ‘canonmate’ or similar. even if they, again, claim to be a minor like you, they can still use that to earn your trust and hurt you, unintentionally or not.
in general don’t let kin become your only basis for a relationship with someone, platonic or otherwise
it doesn’t matter how “weird” you think your kins are, there’s probably someone out there with a “weirder” kin. and it doesn’t matter how many kins you have, because there’s probably somebody out there with more.
be careful of kinning becoming your ‘escape’ from the ‘real world’ in an unhealthy way. or of kinning making you unhappy, especially if you’re using it to cope. if it hurts you more than helps you to be open about it, you don’t have to be. you don’t have to have a public ‘kinlist’ if it doesn’t make you happy

Nightgender flag for an alter of mine since we couldn’t find any.
Nightgender: Agender but in place of gender, you’re filled with darkness.
Originally it was going to be 12 stripes (after the 12 hours of night) but it ended up looking weird so I just changed it to six, the colors are based after the different colors of night.

hi is there a pride flag for neither? like for gender? i don't mean agender or neutrois or gendervoid or any of those. i don't have a gender so i don't like to use any label related to it. so is there a flag for neither or none?
I did find one, actually.
Neither: a neither is different from being agender in the sense that they refuse to define themselves under one gender term.

me and my pal Rudolph made some alt occultgender flags + our own descriptions!
first is mine, the second with the eye is theirs!
our description;
a xenogender related to or involves a deep connection to the occult or a gender that is esoteric, mysterious and dark in nature.
➷it should be noted that though occultgender is not inherently demonic, relation to demons is dependant on ones experience.
- can exist as an esmogender, aesthetigender or religiogender!
- coined by me and BL0SS0MBAT on twitter!

chromarian reddian | orangian yellowian | greenian bluian | purplian
chromarian: a xenic alignment to color(s). can be used like tealian, purplian, creamian, etc
reddian: a xenic alignment to the color red
orangian: a xenic alignment to the color orange
yellowian: a xenic alignment to the color yellow
greenian: a xenic alignment to the color green
bluian: a xenic alignment to the color blue
purplian: a xenic alignment to the color purple
definition of chromarian from here, and the other definitions are derived from it! i wanted the flags to look like paint or makeup palettes to showcase different shades of one color in a unique way.
i’m happy to make flags for more specific colors - tealian, pinkian, creamian, etc. i may make some for myself and post them soon, so if there’s any colors you’d like to see, lmk!

[ID: a five horizontal striped flag. the top two strips in order are a dark green and a lighter green, followed by a light yellow. the last two stripes in order are a light, pinkish red and a darker red. End ID.]
Autix
When your gender or genders are affected by your autism, and your autism affects how you view and precise your gender(s). It changes depending on the person who used it, as one autix person can view gender differently than another autix perosn. Can be modified like autixfem, autixmasc, autixfluid, ect.
Coined as an alt/similar term to autigender, as we don’t really think it covers how different autistic people view their gender and how gender works. It covers more things than people who just have one gender (like fluid, flux, ect genders) and people who still might be a gender or be aligned with masculinity or femininity or neither, but feel like their autism fudementally changes the way they view it and perceive it.
[ID: text says; Read our pinned post before interacting!]
