“The best thing known to man is hot sauce and being able to have a small pocket sized one to carry around with you.” He laughed shaking his head. “Fine. I’m okay with a kit-kat. Chocolate milk is acceptable. That’s as much as you can get from me.”

“actually good point, i really love hot sauce. oh, and mustard. maybe sushi.” the witch throughly enjoyed her food and it was rather hard for her to always pick a favourite, most of the time it depended on her mood. “that’ll do for me.”

BENTLEY !

“Well, you can’t have any junk food for a month. No candy, no pie, no chocolate, and no sugary drinks,” Bentley replied, chuckling. “If you can do that, I will wear a shirt that says Willow Salvatore is better than Bentley Salvatore for a month. But if you lose, you will have to buy me dinner once a week for a month.”

“i can handle that. if you think i can’t handle that, then you don’t know me very well, ben.” willow needed to speak like she knew it was going to happen, that she was going to win. this was all she needed to do, madeline and beaux would help her not eat anything sugary. “that sounds perfect. i can take on those terms without any hesitation.’

Ivy smiled, “I try. I’m glad my hard work is appreciated.”

“it’s always appreciated, ivy. never doubt that for a second.”

her cousin was always one that seemed so organised and in charge. “i truly admire you for that.”

“Oh can you, Willow?  Want to bet?” Bentley offered, raising an eyebrow.

her cousin’s words had her realising just exactly what she had gotten herself into and while she knew it was a long shot, willow never turned down a bet. “i will happily bet and i will win. what’s the terms?”

BEAUX !

Beaux grinned from ear to ear upon hearing the  words leaving her mouth, he was beyond happy that she had thought of him when trying to come up with ways to keep her dear ones safe. “No worries, I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to crack it anyday now and once you’re finished, I’ll wear it or have it always with me, I promise.” The male smiled caressing her hand softly to show her some affection. “No one is allowed to touch a strand of your hair if I can do something about it” He said honestly, the need to protect the girl was constantly present. “So now you want me to believe you’re sweet and innocent again? No can’t do.” Beaux teased her althought that aspect of the relationship he didn’t even tap into, there’s be plenty of time for that later. “Would shirtless pics do the magic?” He raised a brow wiggling it at her. “Right now, I’m happy with where I am, I love being a cop. Maybe I’ll seek a promotion in the future but right now, this is what I love and enjoy doing” Beaux confessed. “A party? What happened to our cozy night in?” The male pouted at Willow. “Do I really have to go?”

protecting him was one of the main priorities when it came to using her magic, the same with madeline and ivy. she knew they could look after themselves but the petite witch was protective of those she loved and he was certainly top of the list of those to protect. she was trying to do something like the necklaces she made for hayley’s twins but she wanted something stronger, something that protected beaux from every aspect of life. “i know how to make the one to protect you from the supernatural but i want to protect you from more than that.” her eyes drifted to their hands, smiling at the affection she was being given. this was something willow was adoring, this being more than friends with him. “i know, i’m safe with you. no matter what i’m always safe.” that was just something that the salvatore girl could say with certainty. there had never been any doubt about her safety around beaux. “i’m very sweet and innocent, that’s not a lie.” her cheeks were flushed again and she gave a sheepish smile, hoping that she didn’t look at flustered as she felt. “i would love shirtless pictures of you. they’ll more than do the trick. i’ll be right outside your door after those.” those words slipped out her mouth without thought but this time she seemed more confident. “i know you love it. i’m happy you do but i still worry about you being a cop. it’s not always the safest and i don’t want anything happening to you but then again, you’re a real life spiderman that way, aren’t you?” she would always support him, no matter what he wanted to do. “that cozy night is for after stopping by a party for half an hour at most. i just need to show face and say hi to some people, check how people got on with the exams.” it was a side of her beaxu had never seen before and she wanted him to, to see how she could sometimes become carefree, a normal teenage girl in college. “we can go to the next one instead.” willow caved, giving him a soft smile.

MADELINE !

“I know I am. But when it comes from Beaux, I kind of have to check out the story first.” She giggled shaking her head once more. “And yes, someone disappeared for a while. I’m assuming either work or exams, but he did get to me first unfortunately.” She pouted right alongside her best friend. “I’m a guy person Will. Though fending women off me would be an interesting thing.” She chuckled and nodded. “As you have been with me.”

“that’s really rude, you should believe me with no doubt. i would never lie to you, maddie.” willow declared, giving a firm nod of her head as though to solidify the statement. “i disappeared for exams, had a few things to study for, a few papers to write. it’s been very very busy. he’s always ahead of me.” a huff left her pink lips before she was smiling at the brunette. “i know you’re a guy person but that doesn’t mean that girls can’t hurt you in friend way. i’d be too busy gawking at all the pretty ones.” the witch never felt a need to hide her sexuality, the second she had realised she was bisexual, madeline had been told. “it’s a best friend thing.”

“And a gambler knows when to quit,” Bentley rolled his eyes, chuckling. “Okay, maybe. But where do I get my affinity for chocolate?”

“except, unlike a gambler, i can actually stop. i have lots of self control.” the witch replied, her voice filled with certainty. “i have no idea, i’m still trying to figure out where i get it from.”

SAWYER !

“Then it shall be just that, consider it on the house Will,” Sawyer watched his sister. He loved making sundae’s for the people he loved.

the brunette shook her head towards sawyer. “it’s not on the house, i’ll pay for it. i’m very good at saving money, plus, i have beaux always buying my coffee so i have plenty to spare.” it was a joke, well, half chocolate, the male did pay for quite a bit.

“You should, and hopefully I’ll visit it around the same time as you”

“that means you can show me the sights. i wouldn’t have any idea where to go.”

“No why would you do this to me? If we were friends you wouldn’t try to change me.” He sighed dramatically, shaking his head. “You’d accept me for who I am.” He put his hand over his heart. “A non chocolate lover.” 

“this isn’t me trying to change you but instead, i’m trying to open your experiences and show you the best thing known to man.” willow kept on joking, her eyes bright with amusement. “i always accept you for who you are but no one is a non chocolate lover.”

“The ultimate hero? Huh, I actually like the sound of that. I might have to try to achieve that title now.” Christopher considered, nodding a few times.

“the ultimate hero. definitely my ultimate hero. the way to achieving it is to always have chocolate on hand and buy me coffee.” she joked, giving a laugh at how silly it sounded.

HAYLEY !

“I haven’t seen much of your parents either, to be honest. Maybe they’re just busy or something, who knows? And don’t fret. The cake that you’ve been craving will be in reach soon enough. And it’ll taste that much better when it’s something you’ve made, with some assistance, of course.”

“i haven’t really got any idea what they’re doing and i’d wonder where they were if it wasn’t for the fact that they can’t leave the town. i’m hoping they’re alright. i’m very excited, you’re fantastic to do this with me. i mean, i’m sure i’ll be more your assistant than anything else. i once tried to make brownies and forgot the egg but kept going.”

“Yes,” Natalya smiled, “It has definitely been one of my favorite perks of immortality.” 

“i feel it’d be one of my favourite things about being alive for centuries.” willow replied, giving a smile. “you know, seeing the world change.”
