In case someone doesn't know how to make a "keep reading" on mobile:

I've seen some nerve-racking 10k fics that don't have the cut and in their worst, they're also full of media like "this is a picture of what you're wearing, this is the view you're seeing from your hotel room, here's a gif how x looks at you in this scene" = Tumblr app struggles to load that wall of text and media and then Tumblr app crashes and when asked to put the cut, people are like "I'm on mobile and can't put the cut" so here's a little tutorial video for you guys.

I know this is a problem with all characters but tagging some popular ones to gain exposure for this post.

Light streamed gently through the big windows of the bedroom, casting a warm glow on your face, Ben had already been up for a few minutes, taking in your beautiful relaxed features as you slept, gently he lifted his hand to your face and carefully moved a few stray strands of hair out of your face before gently bringing his fingers back and began to gent;y stroke your face, admiring your smooth skin. You stretched gently and let out a quiet yawn, Ben watched you with a small smile, and when you finally opened your beautiful (Y/C/E) blushed when you saw him already staring at you, "god, you're so beautiful" he whispered. "Oh hush, I probably look like a gremlin right now" you whispered back blushing even more before you hid your face in his chest "oh please," he said while gently putting his hand on your cheek to make you look at him as butterflies swarmed your stomach "you could never look like a gremlin" he continued "if anything you are the most beautiful princess I've ever seen" he stroked your face gently with his thumb. 

Blushing even more you hid your face in his chest once more "stopppppp" you whined "it's like you want to turn me into a tomato" you felt a deep rumble in his chest as he started to laugh "and you'd still look amazing as a tomato" he said between laughs as he stroked your hair. After a couple of content quiet minutes together, you started humming quietly, "you know" Ben started "forever is a long time" he said slowly "yes, I guess it is a long time" you said looking up at him as he started to move and reach behind himself "but I'm not afraid of thinking about the future anymore, and especially if it means I get to wake up to your beautiful smile every morning" he said as he pulled out a small velvet box. 

Tears sprung to your eyes as he opened the box to the most beautiful ring you'd ever seen "Y/N, will you do me the honors and become Y/N Cumberbatch?" the tears were flowing down your face as your breath got caught in your throat "and I know it's been hard keeping our relationship from the public and I know it hasn't been easy on you but I figured if we got engaged we could officially go public but if you don't want to I under-" he had started rambling when you finally let out a choke "yes!" and leapt forward into his arms "yes yes yes yes!" you practically yelled.

Hours later, you and Ben sat on the couch next to each other, after having called all your family and friends to tell them the good news, you guys had to figure out how to tell the media, "I say we just post a photo and be done with it" you said nervously, being in the limelight made you anxious, it just wasn't your thing, "sounds good to me" Ben said, You guys took a quick picture with the engagement ring showing and posted it on your respective social media platforms and tagged each other. As the comments and DMs, some of congratulations and others of criticism rolled in, you both put your phones on mute and cuddled on the couch, after a couple of minutes you started to sing quietly under your breath "forever is a long time, but I, wouldn't mind spending it by your side".
